Super lovely place came here for a birthday, cheap drinks, nice and clean, great atmosphere, drinks came super fast and our waitress Amelie (hope I spelt that right!) was extremely friendly and hospitable. Will definitely be coming again :)

Seems to have gone down hill over the years. Distanced themselves from the quirky, horror theme. Had quite a few renovations, trying to go for a modern, contemporary look but it doesn't work for me. The drinks used to be reasonably priced, with a choice selection, a pint of Estrella for £4.10! where are we?
Me & my partner visited several weeks ago because the bar we wanted to go weren't allowing any more in, due to Covid restrictions. So we ordered two pints, garlic bread, two plates of fries & a macaroni cheese. It came to £28 and we were still hungry afterwards, so ending up eating at home, defeating the object of eating out. The fries were £5 each, had hardly any topping on them, and certainly weren't what they were advertised, the only thing big was the plate. Without sounding too harsh, I wouldn't be too surprised if the food was from Farmfoods or Iceland.
When Phantom was Scream, standards were much higher & the quirk was the fact it was an alternative bar. It just seems like a cash grab now.
Only positive was the lady who booked us in, can't remember her name now, but very enthusiastic & went out of her way to do her job.
