Great outdoor set up, in line with the current covid restrictions. Prompt service and good selection of food. No outdoor heaters, so bring a jacket in case it gets chilly after sunset.

Good service, friendly staff. Wide choice of freshly prepared starters and mains with a good lunch/light 'bites' supplementary menu. Very good drinks menu with reduced alcohol options. Some nice vegetarian options. Tasty skin on fries served with a nice fresh garlic mayo!.

Appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures in place. Friendly staff and good service. Expect to pay 'gastro pub' prices but the food has been excellent whenever I have been. Great for lunch and dinner. Lovely beer garden and lots of parking.

Delicious food, lovely place for a family get together.
Only down side was that our table for 6 was tucked right out of the way with no other diners around us. I think we were forgotten from time to time.
Service was slow, but food came relatively quickly once ordered.
1 drink, 2 courses = 2 1/2 hours in total.

Visited the Fox for a weekend meal with my family, can't fault the service or the staff. They were friendly and couldn't do enough for you - superb service!
Both our waitress and the chef were more than accommodating for one of our group's dietary requirements.
Plenty of covid-19 precautions - we were asked to sanitize our hands upon arrival and also asked to fill in the track and trace. Tables were well spaced out and our waitress explained that the menus were one-time use when we went to give them back - whoops!
We will definitely be coming back!

Terrible service, rude staff, overpriced. Came in with my children, one of which has allergies ordered food and they accommodated the allergies but one of my other children wanted the items removed from the allergy burger they said it was only possible if I paid for the items instead of transferring them from one meal to another. I have been to other vintage inns where the swap is done without question! Will not be returning!! The food and service are not up to the usual high standards. We have visited this restaurant on several occasions and experienced lovely food and attentive staff. Unfortunately, when we attended on our last visit we did not experience this and we did not enjoy our experience.

The food was cold and tasteless and not enough vegetables. One bowl of vegetables for 5 people is not adequate. The food and service are not up to the usual high standards. We have visited this restaurant on several occasions and experienced lovely food and attentive staff. Unfortunately, when we attended on our last visit we did not experience this. We also felt that the prices have increased a lot in the last 6 months, but we were given less food. We will not be returning as you no longer receive value for money and we did not enjoy our experience.

Great place, a decent amount of parking and great looking building! Staff very friendly and go out of their way to make your meal as good as it can be! Visited on a Sunday for a roast. Quite full so book in advance for Sunday’s. Dogs are allowed which is a nice touch.

This is the first time that I've eaten here, but my wife and her friends have been before. She recommended that we come here for a family celebration.
The food was wonderful, service was good and the Doom Bar was delicious. I'd definitely eat here again. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, thank you.

Disappointed with roast dinner. Broccoli was under cooked and the roast potatoes were definitely a 3/10. For London prices you do expect more.

Visited with a small family group for the first time in years. Very pleased with what we found. I'd booked a table online and asked for a quiet table and that is exactly what we got. The staff were friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We all had a range of mains off the menu and all came well presented, tasty and hot. I can thoroughly recommend the duo of lamb, best meal out I've had for a long time. We would definitely be returning here.

Really charming pub.
Quite large but cosy at the same time.
Very popular in the restaurant, I'd book ahead if you can at peak times, otherwise there's always bar meals which are very nice.
Seems to attract a mixed crowd from dog walkers and couples with young children to families celebrating special occasions, which makes for a very friendly and warming atmosphere. A nice place to glam up a little in the evenings and meet up with friends too!

well, where do i start, from walking in there was no social distancing, no taking details of anyone, the person behind the bar didnt hold the glasses correctly and the waitress that brought them to us was very unhelpful. The food was beyond mediocre for what we paid and i found the staff very ignorant when i tried to talk to them about my order. Will i return? definately not !!

I am not local to this pub however whilst visiting friends we decided to go for a few drinks and food. We made the mistake of not booking in advance (it is advisable as this place is clearly extremely popular). This did not stop us from being looked after and being made feel welcome. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was cosy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to all the staff and management for an evening I will remember for a long time. Merry Christmas to you all.

Went for early doors Valentine meal and cannot fault. Meal was lovely, service excellent and the sticky toffee pudding is the best ever!

Been going here for years - but have to say mostly less than average bar service ‘without’ a smile!!
Then about three weeks ago a new guy called Chris started behind the bar and he’s a complete breathe of fresh air to the place!
Friendly, helpful, polite and always happy to chat!

Excellent staff fitted us in at short notice for a meal in the bar. We were CV a party of 6, including a wheelchair, plus a large dog. All staff were extremely helpful. Food and drinks also very good.

What happened?
I’ve been visiting this pub for years. It has had its ups and downs like every place does but I cannot believe how bad this place has become. I visited at the end of last month and I have never been so appalled by the service, no one looked happy, everyone seemed ‘too busy’ to actually want to serve anyone that walked through the door! There was 6/7 staff stood around laughing and talking as if they were on holiday. It was as if the customers were an inconvenience to the staff. It was preposterous I overheard a guy telling one of the staff to go away explicitly! The service was slow to say the least. The service was poor and the worst I’ve seen with this place. I am all for giving new management a try and a chance but the standards have severely slipped and so quickly too! I cannot believe how the new managers have practically ruined the pub that used to be so nice, which was my local and regular pub. I will not be returning to the Quorndon fox, I will also make sure that everyone I know is aware of this downfall. I feel very disheartened about this. I can’t seem to believe that the company are not seeing this as it actually is.
