Cheap drinks and food, but staff were fairly rude and dismissive; told us to stop using thei table-service app as we were the only people in the pub using it... yet the application is there in order to serve customers!

Is the best place if you want to have a good laugh with your mates and has the best pub quiz experience across all the pubs we've been to. Staff are very friendly and are always up for a laugh. Would definitely recommend

My partner and i were struggling to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when we tried here. First thing we noticed was the inadequate lighting it was pretty dark in here and not a great ambience. Although it had not been open ages or excessively busy most tables were dirty. In fact the hygiene over all was not great. We decided to still try the food and when she bought the drinks over mine had a foreign object in it. My food was dry and over cooked and my coleslaw had a yellow dry tinge like it had been sitting out for hours. The carpet also had a huge split which the carpet flapped up.

Wetherspoons in general gone down hill. I think people prefer the local touch. But I can only speak for the ones in Loughborough.

Place nice, a staff member was very un helpful after going up stairs with a service user who was special needs, she told me I couldn't order any food upstairs as the bar was closed, I explained I couldn't leave him on his own to go down stairs and could I order the food through her and pay her the money, she said no as the bar was closed, so I had to explain to Michael we couldn't stay where he wanted to sit as I wasnt able to order any food for us so we went down stairs to find a place to sit, Michael who is autistic doesn't cope well in noisy busy places, that's why up stairs was perfect for him, the food was lovely, the staff member knew that Michael was special needs and I was wearing a badge,

I visit loughborough very often and usually like to go in the moon and bell which is also a wetherspoons pub, the food and drink is very good and great value but lately we struggle to find a seat and the place is beginning to feel a bit dirty and run down probably needs upgrading. So when we called in Amber rooms it was a very pleasant suprise so clean and fresh a nicer place to sit and have a meal, the staff standard of service and value for money is also very good will be visiting this place more often. Afraid I won't be going to the place until it as a complete upgrade.

Not enough stuff on Friday night, long waiting. I asked for a drink and they gave me a pitcher without asking, when I wanted just a glass...

In a word, 'unpleasant!' while I appreciate that this is anecdotal I was in on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was quite threatening. It was not helped by groups of drunk young people being served jugs of cocktails as their individual drinks. I have to wonder at what point a pub chain such as Wetherspoons has to start and act more responsibly. I understand that it is a business but allowing people to buy Jugs of alcohol with a minimum of 150ml of spirits is, in my opinion, not good. I do not want to moralise and people should be allowed to have a good time but when people have obviously had a considerable amount to drink a responsible pub really should take more responsibility.

An average dining experience, and an average evening venue. They do lack in the quality that the other Wetherspoon venue does in the dining area, but this is more of a night place. At night, it's transformed to a Palace of students during term time, which is expected of the location, but, although average. The venue is nice and clean, but unfortunately most of the patrons aren't. You won't be disappointed, nor will you be amazed

Got served quickly. Good cocktails and drink selection. Good food last time I had it there. Friendly staff. Can be busy depending on whether students are in town.

Nice pub shame about some of the customers!! Trying to eat my fab meal that was cooked how I wanted it .for a foul man who burping was louder than most folk in the place and table manners of a pig who spoke about where he was getting his next fix from !! Glad to say my younger children were not there to witness it !!

A regular haunt on the lively Saturday market day, a delight on summer days with 3 different outdoor sitting areas. Not to mention the excellent prices and generally quiet atmosphere on an otherwise busy Saturday afternoon.

Alcohol prices are definitely the best. Food is typical pub grub. Loads of choices & deals. For a cheeky pie & a pint mid week can't be beaten on value for money.

Very nice atmosphere and cheap drinks, around £2 - £2.50 a pint. I went on a Saturday night and the crowd was mainly around 18 - 25 years old.

Service is slow! Avoid evenings or times when students will be enjoying evening drinks e.g. quiz night, Friday night, Saturday night or graduation!

Basic wetherspoons. No charm. Good pint. Staff are friendly in the day. Garlic bread tastes like I was chewing a balloon, bit the 3 for 10 dishes and the rarebit burger we're good.

Often stop here for a breakfast when in town in the mornings, good simple food, good portions, great service, although sometimes a little wait to order. Breakfast deal with a hot drink, and the drink comes with free refill, so great value for money. The staff are very helpful, but we have had an odd bad experience in the past, but it is definitely not the norm and somebody often asks if everything is okay and the staff are very attentive.

Food not bad but the upstairs male toilets were very dirty and smelly. The place was very full but there was nobody on the upstairs bar so I had to go back downstairs and join the huge queue to order lunch. This took a long time of being jostled and ignored by staff. Overall - not impressed.

Would strongly advise NOT going to this establishment. The doormen are violent, abusive and rude. Nearby 'The Swan In The Rushes' and 'The Tap and Clapper' are cheaper, have more variety and the food is lush (especially their pies, you can never have too many pies).
