Food was good. We clicked & collected for a specific time but then decided to sit on the tables outside the restaurant. The staff were very accommodating, our food wasn't ready at the time requested but it didn't matter.

Had a wonderful experience at Vapianos bankside today with my my 20 guests. The experience was made wonderful by Tes, Ion & Martha. The drinks were amazing and they were made by Pietro the bartender. It was amazing and we will definitely be back again. Thank you very much to Tes and the team he was outstanding and I look forward to seeing Tes again. AMAZING!!!

great choice of food
we have tried every type of their collection and they all taste great.
kids and families will also enjoy the dedicated sitting layout.
i would recommend trying this Italian cuisine if you haven't yet done so.

Good place to have lunch with colleagues or team lunch. Most of the firms I have worked for were usually based in Southwark and I highly recommend them. Really miss these quick and easy pasta. Nothing fancy, but better than basic

Had the most amazing pasta at Vapiano Bankside. Lovely space for the eatery to be located in. Great decor. Very clean. My excitement and enjoyment of the lovely meal was matched with the great company that I was with!...A date with a ex-boyfriend after over 25 years. I have him to thank for introducing me to Vapianos! Brilliant choice Mr M!!

Staff were really friendly. Due to Covid-19 they now take orders via their app. Food was made really quickly and it was good.
The only thing was that toilets weren't that clean.

I used to love coming to Vapiano when I loved in London. It was one of the first places I came to visit when I returned. Unfortunately they have removed my favorite pizza from their menu (it had figs and was delicious).
The salame pizza was ok. My wife had her usual, and said it was just as nice.
There was convenient seating for us with our son and his pushchair.
Very filling, and a good price.

Food is delicious. Portion sizes are perfect although they may look small in the dish, it surprisingly is filling. Only down side would be that they are slightly stingy with their extras. I requested chicken to be added as an extra to my dish and only had about 3 cubes of chicken breast.
Different system to a normal restaurant. As you walk in you are given a card which you use to scan as you place orders so on your way out you present the card and pay for whatever has been charged to the card. Once you seat yourself to a table, and have decided what to order, you go up to the chef and ask them to cook what dish you like and then select from a variety of different types of pasta to have within your dish. Once order has been completed you scan your card and can just go and enjoy your meal. On your way out simply hand over the card and pay.

Excellent pizza. Location was very close to the hotel I was staying at (Mercure London Bridge) so it was nice to have a high quality restaurant nearby. Have a very cool contact card system where you load up your card with whatever you want to eat and then pay at the end of your meal.

Very different experience now because of the current situation but like that I can choose what type of pasta I want and things I can add to the dish like cheese or chicken etc.
Nice atmosphere, good decor and friendly staff, hoping to visit again.

Nice location, near all the offices and near Mint Street Park. Their pasta was of high quality, not your average pasta dish. The portion sizes were a little small which means you have to spend more to get full. It is worth it from time to time!

This place is one of my best Italian places so far for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't that perfect. The concept is great and the food is so tasty! Great service. Highly recommended!

It's an interesting concept. You are given a card and then everything you order at the individual stations goes onto it and you pay for it all at the end. I can see that some people wouldn't like queuing for their food, especially if you need to use a few different stations but for us it was fine; ordered the pizzas and was given an alarm to go collect them and whilst I waited I ordered my drinks. The pizzas were lovely and we had a really great evening.

Fresh pasta and pizza near Bankside. The pasta variety is fa tactic and you can watch it being made. In fact you have to watch it as there isn't table service. The price for two people with drinks is around £25-30.
The drink options are limited and service are under pressure at the demand for the good pasta.
Try going at a quieter time or the weekend.

A different take on an all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurant just for Italian food! Tap the card and order as much as you want and pay at the end - plenty to choose from and food is great! Would definitely recommend

Vapianos is just the best place for pasta! This is the only place where you don’t just choose your dish but you choose your chef! Everything is made freshly in front of your eyes. I love all their prawn pastas and their cheesy garlic bread. The atmosphere is pretty bubbly and it can be quite noisy with chatter.

My first time visiting this place. The food is excellent it's freshly made in front of you. They have this card system were your given a credit card in which you put your food and drinks on, then when you leave you hand it back then pay normally. Great place certainly recommend, good portions of food.

This is an order-at-a-counter place where you don't go to a table until after collecting your food.
The pasta dishes are made fresh in front of you so you get to see it prepared. They are great quality, regular restaurant prices, and can be ordered to go if you don't want a table. The atmosphere is fast paced so staying at a table isn't as relaxing compared to somewhere with table service. As each meal is prepared separately, queuing to place your order can feel slow, especially as a group, but it is well worth it.

It was my first time here. A lot of my friends love this place and I couldn't agree more.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They always had a smile.
The menu choices are great and they do do 2 for 1 on cocktails before 6.30 pm.
I love how they make the pasta in front of you and ask you if you want anything extra. They do takeaways and it not very expensive.
I will definitely be going back, the food was delicious and very filling.
Great decor and light music so you can talk and hear the other people.

Vapiano is a safe bet :) I have my favourite which is Pasta Cognac. I'm taking off one star as I believe any new chef should have a recepie in front of them as it's very easy to miss ingredients. It also happened to me in Oxford street Vapiano's where the ingredients were missed..

Horrible experience, rude staff and overpriced food. The pizzas are tasteless, not worth more than £5 but they charge them above £10. Better off going to Pizza express or even buy one from Tesco's or something

VaPiano it's a safe bet. Italian food everyone likes and good prices. They cook it in your face and the locals are always very good. This particular one is a one floored with plenty of space and beautiful interiors, including very cool glass walls.

Great food, I also like the fact that you can see the food being made in front of you. Definitely recommended! I've docked a star just because it is slightly on the expensive side however you get what you pay for I suppose which is definitely worth it. I had the gamberetti e spinaci which I must say is one of the nicest dishes I've had in an Italian restaurant in the UK so well done!

Very nice inside, very friendly staff and food is delicious. Generous portions of mains too. Little bit confusing for the first time as there are designated areas to order/pick up pizza, pasta etc. however, the desserts are ordered from the bar. I had to ask to find this out. No free WiFi.

Vapiano! Food was great! I had the Verdure Pizza which was nice. I had olives and chilli added which was nice.
The downside that made it a three star is that the whole restaurant was piled high with dirty plates, glasses and trays. It was not welcoming at all.
You couldn't sit anywhere as a result of the mess and there was no staff on the floor to help clear a table. I asked someone to help me clean away a table so I could sit and the waitress' response was I'm sorry "there is nothing I can do" errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm

Vapianos is such a cool concept ! There are different stations where you order different things , such as pizza , pasta, salad , and the bar. Everything is made to order right in front of you ! All of the doughs and pastas are made from scratch every morning. Very reasonable prices , nice atmosphere and delicious food!

Lovely place with nice view, a lot of seating available and good price. However, we've been waiting for 30 mins in the queue to order pasta, they need to put more chefs on duty to push the customer service. It's still nice place anyway!
