Has to be one of my favourite restaurants in London. The ambiance was great and the staff were really friendly but above all of that the food was amazing and really well priced. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the dishes. A great spot for a date night. Would highly recommend!

A lovely night out in London.
We signed up for the special £20 set dinner menu and we were not disappointed! Just note you have to pre-book and mention in your pre-booking you want the £20 menu ☺️ We had to wait about 5-10minutes for our reservation which was absolutely fine, but the staff were so lovely about it they ended up bringing us some Prosecco on the house for the wait! So a wonderful way to start the night. Each meal came out swiftly and was beautifully presented, as well as absolutely delicious. Staff were so friendly and really made it such a nice night - would definitely recommend!

Eating here used to be such a treat but, post-lockdown, they've blown it. If you want to stay well, avoid the restaurant. Their CovidSafety safety practices are woefully inadequate- or absent- and the food had lost its wow.
Eating there on their first evening opening we were sat at the end of the counter- as expected when we booked- but at less than a metre distance from the next party. No staff wore masks and none attempted to maintain distance from customers during service.
The burrata for the first course was firm all the way through with no hint of creamy straciatella: had it been sitting in the freezer since March? The silk hankerchiefs for the main course, usually a luscious delight, tasted dry and undersalted and with precious little dressing. Only the sweet- a well flavoured chocolate mousse with a crisp spiced crumb- hit the spot.
And then the bill: incorrectly charging the a la carte price for the dishes when we had booked for and been given the promotionally-priced set meal. It was corrected on challenge, but felt like a scam.
This was out first west end meal post-lockdown. Eagerly awaited and anticipated but in the end, it was a huge disappointment. We won't be back.

Hidden gem of London. Just in the middle of city heart. Been there for dine for having differ taste n they didn’t disappoint me. Delicious food full of taste. Brilliant atmosphere n great service. Attentive staff. Active chefs cooking in front of u so i can have an experience how they preparing my food. Just enjoyed my food every bit of it. Defo recommend it n would love to come back again.

Very good quality pasta, and very sociable staff. The atmosphere is very city chic, with contemporary decor and electronic music. On a Saturday night it was heaving, so you'll want to book.

We visited Bancone after few friends recommended it. We had to book well in advance to find a table. Restaurant was very busy even on a Tuesday night.
We sat on the small table opposite the bar. Not very comfortable since our chairs were squeezed with the other tables and people were constantly passing from the aisle.
Service was swift and overall quite kind.
Pasta is really good and perfectly cooked. We chose the ragu and the Octopus. Both delicious even though the Octopus was quite spicy and this wasn't mentioned in the catalogue.
Prices very decent.

Excellent gluten free pasta. My Italian girlfriend said that the normal pasta was as good as Lina’s - the highest praise she could give. We had 3 courses and though everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The chefs are friendly and you can watch them work when sitting at the counter. The ambience is lively but not too noisy and the service is attentive. The silk handkerchiefs were delightful as was the shrimp and butter pasta. Book in advance as it is popular, though they do save spaces for walk ins.

Chic, modern restaurant dedicated to serving high quality pasta dishes. Atmosphere is buzzing as it is really busy! 2 people, sharing an entree and dessert, with a separate main and glass of wine ended up at £23 each. If you haven't booked, be prepared to queue and share tables with others. Service was great, waiter patiently walked us through all the pasta types! Highly recommend!

The service was absolutely fine and the ambience is lovely, but for all the hype surrounding it, the food is strictly average.
I got the focaccia and burrata to start with, followed with the spinach ravioli, gnocchi and the silk handkerchiefs with walnuts and butter sauce. None of them were anything to write home about and quite stodgy to be honest.
I hate to write badly about a place when the experience was lovely overall, but I have to say that from a food standpoint- which is what I go to a well reviewed restaurant for- I was left wanting more- more flavour, more texture and more finesse.

Bancone is a rare gem in this part of town, which I got from a great recommendation from a friend. Having worked in the area for years, it's hard to find a good restaurant.nearby that isn't either a chain, or very expensive. Bancone is elegant, affordable and absolutely delicious. The menu is short and to the point, and most dishes can come gluten free. It makes a good lunch spot as well as a swanky dinner with friends or a good date night - we spent less than £15 each. It's small and popular so you will likely need to book a reservation any time of day.
The service is a bit up and down, and not all too friendly as it seems a bit rushed. This would make a big difference but certainly didn't cause any issues and I'll be back in a hurry!

Almost everything we ate was out of this world good. Service is very friendly. The place has a great vibe. We were there in between lunch and dinner so it was empty which is very rare as it’s always packed. Focaccia was nothing special. Otherwise eat everything

Amazing Italian restaurant with simply divine food. We shared three starters and a dessert between two and had a main each. The portions look small but the food is very rich so fills you up. All the dishes were delicious.
My main - silk handkerchiefs (ravioli) with walnut butter and confit egg yolk - was probably one of the best Italian dishes i have ever had.
Our dessert - strawberries with yogurt foam and almond genoise - looked very interesting was a light dish to end the meal.
We received excellent service and I loved our seats at the bar as you get to see the chefs cook your food. Will definitely come here again.

There’s been a lot of hype around Bancone but having visited I’m not quite sure why. The starters were yummy especially the burrata but apart from the signature silk handkerchief main the others were quite bland and mediocre.

Beautiful restaurant with a warm atmosphere. They take bookings which most homemade pasta places do not. The food is delicious and melts in your mouth. We ordered the burrata with crusty bread to start and three pasta dishes between two people. Will definitely come back soon

If you're looking for premium pasta dishes, look no further than Bancone. We had a terrific time trying 4 dishes between 2 of us and we we're stuffed. The plating is impeccable, service is incredible and the food is exquisite. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Must try!

Incredible Italian pasta restaurant with mouthwatering dishes. Good prices for all the dishes, great atmosphere as there is an open kitchen and can sit at the “bar” and high quality food. The silk handkerchiefs dish is possibly the best pasta dish I have ever anywhere in the world. There are a number of other pasta dishes that I tried that were very good and the starters as well, focaccia is highly recommended. Must visit this place.

This is now my favourite restaurant in London! Starters, pasta, drinks - all perfect! We wanted a booth table, so had to book it 2 weeks in advance since it's Christmas time. Totally worth it. Very reasonable prices as well and good service.

Good but can’t say I’m rushing back.
For both of us at lunch we agreed that the flavours were too restrained perhaps on purpose to show case the pasta but for us the sauces are just as important
Saying that there a lot worse places you could go in the area.
£75 for two for lunch, 1 starter, 3 pasta, 5 beers.

Terrific pasta! Perfectly al dente and honestly very affordable too. I love the vibes here. Classy but still casual enough to not feel stuffy. I would 100% recommend the silk hankerchiefs and the pasta with the seaweed butter these are honestly divine.

Foods were okay, good decor, quite infused but not imposed much personalities of the chefs. Perhaps because I get used to authentic Italian foods such as Da Mario Gloucester Eoad or LaMama in Chelsea London. Bad customer service, got ignore, always had to ask for twice. 30 mins wait minimum between starter and main, and waitress took order wrongly. When we asked, she wasn't happy and didn't apologise and need to wait 30 mins for replacement orders. Given the price and the experiences, it needs some gaps to fulfil.

Very busy but lovely pasta place. Although they reserve some counter seats for walk-ins, I strongly recommend to book before your visit. All dishes were just delicious! Service was great - one of the dishes was brought to our table by mistake but they just told us the dish was on the house.

Great dishes (wish they had side dishes though, they only have starters). Perfect place for first dates, friends catch up. The Aperol Spritz is really popular, but for £7, it’s a bit watered down and you don’t get to taste much of the Aperol.

Excellent fresh pasta and a great buzzing atmosphere. I recommend booking a counter table as you can see the chefs at work in front of you.
Had the veal pasta with black truffle and the spicy 'nduja pasta.

The food was very tasty. The seatings were a little intimate so if you have big bags it might not be so convenient. The staff were quite attentive and polite. Oh they did not take amex cards.
