Absolutely fantastic pasta. Managed to wangle a counter seat which had a great view of the chefs working away. Great service and fun atmosphere - would definitely return.

Some of the pasta dishes are delicious, some are just okay. I'd really recommend the "silk handkerchiefs" but the spinach and goat's cheese mafalde was not so tasty. Pastas are good value but the desserts are not.

I'll do it short. The place looks great, the staff was very nice. The food was of really high quality and was delicious. Unfortunately I didn't feel like all dishes were superb. The Ravioli was the lunch's winner - a masterpiece. The Burrata was really good as well - it was nice eating it with the Focaccia. The "Silk Handkerchiefs", which is supposed to be their "flag dish", was good, though it didn't meet my expectations of a "flag dish" right after eating the Ravioli... Also the place is quite expensive. Bottom line - worth a visit.

Fantastic pasta, excellent service and a great atmosphere. The menu is small but everything on it was superb and incredibly well priced for what you get. There were four of us and were sat in a booth at the back which was definitely on the small size.

Second visit there and every thing I’ve tried so far has been amazing. Goes without saying I will keep on returning. A must go to place.

I came here with my girlfriend after no luck with finding a table to eat on a Friday night. Next time we might just come back here, as the food was delicious, the atmosphere friendly and the prices very reasonable.

Unfortunately our experience at Bancone was very disappointing, given what the reviews and the Bancone website would lead you to believe. I would very rarely leave a bad review for a restaurant, but on the occasion I think its important for the restaurant to know that it doesn't deliver what we were so excited to try. The food itself looks and tastes pre-prepared - suspicions were raised when it arrived within literally 2 minutes. Whilst it wasn't unpleasant, it was bland and more what you would expect from a cheap cafe, rather than a smart London restaurant advertising itself as 'exciting' and 'passionate' (quoted from their website). The focaccia starter was literally two pieces of dry bread with no sauce or oil offered, and the gnocchi with beetroot was very bland. The service however was the most disappointing aspect of the experience. The hostess who greeted us at the door was lovely, but our waitress was impatient, blunt, and everything was rushed (plates cleared from underneath us before we had even finished our last mouthful). Also worth mentioning that whilst the overall vibe of the restaurant is buzzy in a good way, the music is pretty loud and invasive, if that would bother you. On the plus side the wine (the cheapest Primitivo) was very nice. But as for the overall experience it is massively style over substance, combined with staff who don't seem to want to be there.

FABULOUS. Great food, great service, and ultra reasonable prices. And great design/ambience, great being able to watch your food being prepared. I plan to go back asap. Only downside is, they're so good they're packed out pretty much from the minute the doors open! Suggest you book in advance.

Amazing Italian food for very reasonable prices! The menu offers a wide range of options with plenty for vegetarians too. The staff are helpful and informative about the menu. Decor and ambiance are lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing food! The sizes could be a little bigger and the menu a bit more diversified. Still has a great night!

Wonderful little plates and pasta to die for. Apertivos and cocktails are varied and well made, usually classics with a twist.

Tried the squid ink tagliolini, it’s not bad - I can see why it is a cut above the rest but it is not out of this world. Strange that they serve the dish with bonito flakes

Very value for money considering London's standards but food is not very inspiring. Open kitchen staff are clumsy, I'm not sure how the Michelin landed here.

Food was great! We had the focaccia, burrata appetizer, silk handkerchief pasta, rabbit tagliatelle, and pineapple dessert. There rabbit tagliatelle was especially good. Drinks were also very good. Service was okay.

The pasta is amazing, makes me really thirsty though. The burrata is great too. This restaurant doesn’t allow for take away though.
