Fantastic to be back again, very soft opening this time around. Everything went well. Food was of the high standard as always, and with the spacing between people there was a little more room for everyone.

yes the pasta is godly, so i went twice in one evening. I'd never tasterd the paradisiacal CMT before, the focaccia is fine and the service moves at a good clip. half pint off cos the seating is tight, and one plate was unseasoned.

Lovely pasta but not th most mind blowing stuff I've tried. However, considering the low prices for central London, it's totally worth it. Nice interiors, although pretty crammed considering covid (even if they have screens between tables)

Finally tried the signature "silk handkerchiefs" pasta at Bancone and it is worth the rave!! ????The pasta was thin and smooth, it's covered with a nutty walnut and hazelnut butter sauce???? For starter, I would highly recommend the burrata with charred endive, balsamic and crispy puffed wild rice - it's delicious!!!

Good food. Friendly team ready to serve you and great drinks to complete the night. The gin and peach is a delicious drink and combined with olives will get you ready for some perfect al dente pasta. Great atmosphere and views of the kitchen team preparing the dishes. Would surely go again!

Great atmosphere and quality freshly made pasta!! What more could you ask for?? I went along with my wife to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday and have to say that we all had a great time. I would recommend you book in advance. We decided to get a few different plates so we could share, definitely recommend that approach. The Duck Ragu and Ravioli are spot on

Oh my gosh the pasta here is incredible. Good value for money, and the lemon syllabub with lemon granita was a perfect refreshing cleanser at the end of the meal. A must visit for Italian food.

Came here alone at 6.30 on a wednesday night and it was very busy so make sure you make a reservation even if you’re just two people! I was sat down at a sharing table in the back with a good overview of the restaurant and its great atmosphere. The staff, very friendly and attentive, was quick to take my order. And my pasta arrived just as quick at my table. Perfectly al dente, good ragu, feeling light without lacking in flavor! And the staff was very nice about me sending them back and forth for more parmigiano. All in all a nice place for simply good pasta with a good atmosphere. Next time i’m heading for a bar seat!

Amazing food at affordable prices! We had Squid Ink tagliolini with sautéed squif, confit tomato, garlic&chilli and silk hankerchiefs with walnut butter and confit egg yolk, paired with a Gin cocktail and prosecco on the house in celebration of our birthday. Would recommend 10/10 for great service and food.

They're still ironing it out as soft launching this week but I enjoyed my visit very much. I thought the staff were kind, the fresh pasta delicious and the honeycomb and burnt apricot yoghurt dessert was so well thought out and intricate, it blew my mind. There was a wee mishap with one of our starters being forgotten but that's ok, it's just opened and is 50 per cent off this week. But even without the discount pasta is reasonably priced.

Very delicious pasta. Al dente. Beef ragu is amazing. Will definitely come back. Update: on our second visit the quality of food seem to have dropped a bit. I do hope it was just momentary.

Simply superb! A true pasta experience, love the chef's table concept through the length of the restaurant. The menu is simple and on point. The flavours are absolutely amazing. By far one of the best meals we had recently. You could easily spend double the amount anywhere else in London for this quality. Best dish was the handkerchiefs with walnut butter and confit egg. Was so good, we ordered another to share... And then another came on the house! (Thank you Fulvio) Excellent wine selection. The staff were very friendly and approachable - the service flawless.

The pasta was incredible ! The music was a bit too loud, and the restaurant was crowded. When the meal started I could see why, the food was amazing. I just wish that I could have enjoyed my meal in a quieter place.

Definitely will re-visit this Michelin recommended restaurant. Small menu but every dish is made to high standard. I had Squid ink pasta which were delicious (I was hungry so thought the portion could have been bigger LOL), a dark chocolate parfait (with perfect sweetness - I don't like sickly sweet dessert) and a glass of proseco. Every thing is made fresh when ordered (you can observe everything due to open kitchen layout). My waiter was very attentive - he gave me his opinions on some popular dishes and frequently checked if I am happy with each course. Hopefully BANCONE Covent Garden will soon achieve its first Michelin Star.

Tasty pasta, good price, nice ambiance, and superb service. I have ordered the cheapest pasta (£9) on the menu on a busy Friday evening. The food arrived quite fast and the waitress checked on me twice to see if I liked the pasta. When I said it was very nice but a bit salty, she brought me another plate that was less salty without me asking for it. I was planning to give a 5 star review just based on the taste and the ambiance before I was given a second plate anyways, gratitude. Very good.

I'm probably spelling his name wrong, but we were served by the most courteous and affable waiter ever named Meerko. He was attentive to our every need (not in a rigid or overbearing way) and it made the experience just so much better. The food was excellent as always. The silk handkerchief dish with the crunchy little bite of walnut were divine. DIVINE, I say! The spicy pork & n’duja ragu was hearty and delightful. Meerko recommended that we get some honeyed garlic focaccia to mop up the sauce and it was...think of the best bits of roasted garlic and how much you enjoyed that taste. Now times that joy by ten. That's how i felt biting into that focaccia. It also didn’t hurt my wallet & atmosphere was 'understated elegance', so 5 stars.

Literally the best pasta I've had I London or otherwise. It was extremely busy so we had to make a reservation. Even then we were seated a little late. The staff werent as attentive as they could be but it was very busy and they were very friendly and engaging. Loads of veggie and vegan options. By far the best was the chicken liver, then the ossobucco. The walnut handkerchiefs and gnocchi were very good also. Very affordable but small portions, which is why we got 2 mains each. It would be good if they gave the option to upgrade their portion sizes.

Food was really good, portions are a little small on some dishes and the service was a little slow but overall well worth going. I have been pre loudly and service was better so maybe just an off night.

Been waiting for a while to book a table here and it was worth the wait. Had a weeknight pre show dinner with 3. The pasta is divine - the silk handkerchiefs have a uniquely buttery and nutty flavour, spicy pork ragu has a great kick, and the squid ink tagliolini an absolute crowd pleaser. It's busy but the service keeps things moving. Will definitely be back

Excellent pasta with delicious flavour combinations. Was a tough choice because everything sounded good but I went for the silk handkerchiefs and I'm very glad I did. Despite being joint cheapest it was fantastic in flavour and texture. I've dropped a star as I hate the trend of having to give card information to make a booking.

Awesome forgot to take pictures of the pasta but we had the Silk handkerchiefs, walnut butter & confit egg yolk Red onion ‘mezzaluna’ ravioli with Chianti butter & lemon thyme and the basil desert in the end. Atmosphere is great, food is so delicious that I even forgot to take picture of my main... definitely recommend!

One of the best pasta restaurants in London. Although it’s not quite as good as padella, you can book here which is a huge bonus. The choice of wine was good and reasonably priced. Only let down was that service was a bit rushed and we had to leave our table to finish our wine at the crowded bar

I've been to Bacone three times and have never been disappointed. I let them know it was my sister's birthday supper and we were greeted with 2 glasses of prosecco on the house. The vegetarian starters are wonderful and the mafalde pasta is one that I crave for weeks after I've visited. One for every pasta lover out there.

Great new italian restaurant. Think Trullo or Padella, with similar levels of tastiness but price per plate is great. We thought antipasti were going to be small plate sharing based on the price, ordered 4 between 2, they were not. Gobbled the whole lot down anyway. The stand out main was the Silken Handkerchiefs. No not a gay euphemism, but a dish that I will be sneaking back for anytime I'm near. Which due to its location, around the corner from the National Gallery, will be often. Oh and they take reservations!

The wood pigeon pasta was severely undersalted. I've never had to salt a restaurant meal that much before. I told the wait staff who offered me another meal, which I didn't want, and they brought me a champagne which was nice and unexpected! The whipped salted cod and polenta was also undersalted.

Excellent pasta focussed restaurant! Pasta itself fresh and cooked perfect and so many interesting sauces. Seaweed butter and shrimp was great as was the spicy pork pasta and the classic cacio e Pepe. What’s also fantastic is the price point. Exceedingly affordable for this quality of food - see menu online but in any case; 3 starters, 3 pastas, 3 cocktails, and 2 bottles of water was £90 total. Enjoy!
