My second time at a Wagamama and I wasn't disappointed. Food was piping hot and very tasty and well cooked, service was great very attentive, although we did eat early before the theatre and it was quiet to start with. I mention this as some reviewers have had a different experience!!

The place play loud music. We were 2, ordered 1 vegetarian gyoza, which was fine, and 2 ramens. The chicken ramen was delicious but the vegan ramen was extremely spicy. It was almost inedible, beware.

WARNING **Worst Wagamama experience ever** (and I’m a loyal regular). Advertised dishes arrive a far cry from advertised pictures in menu - different ingredients and tasteless. See photo of Avant gard’n dish which arrived looking nothing like it should with strange alternative cheap ingredients plus bowl only half full. Badly managed branch and obvious cost cuts. Same dish in Birmingham was like for like from menu (on 2 separate occasions and very tasty). Why can’t this location do it? Same happened in NYC but put that down to different country having different ingredients available. Staff took comments onboard but admitted they’ll make little difference at the top. Really shocked at how they miss-represent what they serve. Astonished that a well established brand would allow standards to slip whilst at the same time increasing prices. Sadly looks like big corporate governance has taken over and Wagamamas have lost their way. A real shame as lots of fond memories over the years enjoying tasty food but looks like those days are over. Poor staff - seemed over worked and helpless unsupported by a bad quality kitchen. Such a shame.

Avoid until the management get their act together. It is a busy branch but that should mean you put your better people in charge so they can cope. Sadly, at the time of writing this is not the case. Waiting staff are very nice but food is a shambles. It is all to do with timing. The kitchen gets too much, is overwhelmed. My family had had all their food and had finished before I got mine. When it came it was clearly a rush job. Over cooked and way over seasoned. Just done in a rush with no attention. You go to Waga’s as you know what you are getting. Sadly, this branch that isn’t true

Stools aren't that comfortable but worth the discomfort for the food, would recommend a booth for anyone with a dodgy back.

It's a big Wagamama for the area, lovely staff, great vegan menu. Nothing to complain about at all. As per usual for Wagamama, food comes when it comes, but it has always been pretty quick at this branch

Excellent wagamamas. Service quick from friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is huge so even if there is a little queue to get a table it moves incredibly fast and you'll be in in no time. Even though it's got a lot of tables, the kitchen, staffing and other facilities are more then big enough to cater for everyone still providing the top service you expect from the brand.
Decor is also great, one of the nicest I've been to and looks fairly recently refurbished. Food is as good as always.

The ramen was not to my expectations. It was not piping hot. As you eat it cools down further which was not pleasant eating experience. The soup stock was weak. One of our party (4) got her meal after we have all nearly finished our meal. It is obvious the dish was rushed because they missing that order. Overall an unpleasant dining experience.

Really great food. The staff were nice. The only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is because the menu was sticky and they brought the bill out and waited while we looked at the bill so they could take payment there and then.

In my opinion - tasteless "food" served on a "Japanese looking plates" , watery taste , meat not cooked to the point when you can easily pick it up with a chopstick, unless you want to grab the whole thing. Arrived mid hot

A really good branch of Wagamamas as have noticed some branches are not keeping same standards. No worries here if you like the Wagamama concept. Should give up on cocktails they are poor. Staff were lovely as always.

A lovely restaurant with excellent customer service. Once we arrived we were seated very quickly. Our order was taken efficiently and the drinks arrived promptly. We ordered the karai burosu ramen which was nutritious and filling and the chicken katsu curry which was also very tasty. My children ate the mini yasai cha han and the children's katsu curry which were also delicious. The ice lollies for the kids are also recommended.

About 100 meters uphill from the strand. The new location is well designed and a lively atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fresh, well seasoned with just the right spice level. You can customize any dish as they are made to order. I will put this on my list of places to eat on my next visit to the Trafalgar Square area.

Staff here so helpful from being greeted at the door to sitting ordering your meal and when leaving.
This place isn't as bright like other wagamamas but is a refreshing change and shows what the company can do with design
I wouldn't say this is as friendly but its still doable for wheelchair access.

Great vibe and service. Sake Cocktails were good and food was good. The kids menu not so great. But best order off main menu and share. Location is within walking distance to Leicester square tube in the convent garden area.

What an experience.... amazing how tasteful the food is here. Gluten free; they didn't even blink: of course we have a gluten free menu. Had a very tasteful duck lettuce wrap as starter and a rice noodle chicken shrimp dish as main. The dessert was just fantastic, fabulous full of flavor. Lemongrass and lime sorbet.... a real treat!!!

Good food, slightly poor service. Our waitress upsold some sake which I accepted, but unfortunately when she served it she was in such a rush half of it spilled out of the glass onto the table. No offer to replace it was made. She left and another waitress took over who was friendly. When payment was made, a third waiter took over and just left us with the card machine for five minutes. In the end I did it all myself and left the card machine on the table. Could have easily walked out without paying!
