My fiancé and I bought an engagement ring from AJC - it was such a wonderful experience. I found something online which had already sold and Zuleika suggested a few alternatives over email. I went in solo as my fiancé was away for work and fell in love with one. Zuleika very kindly held the ring until he could come in. After a quick day being resized, they posted it to me. I'm over the moon. It's so unusual and delicate. I didn't really know what I wanted (except I wanted something with a pearl). It absolutely fits the bill! It's also worth noting how very patient they were with both of us - letting me try on so many rings and explaining the detail of them. It felt like being with your family versus how I felt at some other places we visited (interested in the sale and not so much what you're looking for). Olly and Zuleika genuinely want to find something for you - if they have it, great. If not, they'll keep an eye out for something that could be perfect for you!

High quality service and item. Buy with confidence

We had a really awful experience with this store and the engagement ring my fiance bought me here last December. He thought the staff seemed lovely at the time but they promised him the resizing was included as the ring is far too big for me. We aren't from London and both had to take days off work and travel up to get this done, we couldn't do so till the new year. We decided to make it a special trip to start our engagement. When we got here we had to go to grays to have it done, this was supposed to be magical, a place girls dream about getting their ring -- we expected it to be a day we'd always remember but instead the man they sent us to was horrid. He hurt my hand, it was red and sore till the next day and he was so rude he made me cry and then sent me away. Getting your engagement ring is a moment girls dream of instead I ended up crying my heart out in the middle of Grays. We couldn't get our ring resized, we travelled up and spent a fortune for nothing and the whole experience broke my heart and I haven't been able to look at the ring without getting upset since --all it reminds me of is that horrible day. My fiance tried to take it back and they refused. So we have been stuck with a ring thats far too big, never been warn and makes me cry when I look at it. We can't get a new one as we spent our money on the one they won't take back and the store don't seem to mind that they literally ruined the magic and experience of getting engaged for us. All we want is to be able to get our money back and buy a new ring without being made to cry. I honestly would never buy a ring from here unless you don't mind having someone yell at your fiance and ruin something she's always dreamed about! :(

If you are looking for something unique and authentic, that is the shop for you. I bought a coral brooch from this shop, not a cameo or a traditional low quality cut flower. They are everywhere on Internet these days. More over two local antique dealers in Australia confirmed the authenticity. The staff is very friendly. Olly, for example, with her years and years of experience can answer any questions about the items in her store.
