Over the years I have purchased 3 sets of earrings and 2 brooches from The Antiques Jewellery Company both from their shop (back in the day they were based in Gray’s Antiques) and online. Olly’s descriptions of items are wonderful. She truly loves antique jewellery and is excited to share her knowledge. I really appreciate that she still stocks a lot of beautiful but probably less popular items just because she loves them, and does not concentrate on the ever so popular engagement rings. Matt is an attractive young man, very responsive to online queries. This is a good reliable family business. Highly recommended.

Great experience choosing a ring - the whole process was very simple, starting with browsing the website and then picking out a few to see in person at an appointment in the showroom. If you can see the jewellery in person it really helps because of course things do naturally look different in real life to on the website. The team were very helpful throughout & the ring was resized inside 4 days and ready to be collected.
All in all this was a very easy and stress free experience :)

A great place to buy special pieces, we went to buy an engagement ring (no pressure then). They are lovely people and tremendously kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome more like family than a shop. I don't enjoy shopping or "retail" in general and this is not that. It is however a place to look for something that you will treasure and you will welcomed and appreciated as opposed to just another customer. They are kind and knowledgable and their collection is worth your time. Will return

It was a real pleasure to do business with The Antique Jewellery Compny. I did most of the transaction over the phone with Ollie who could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Because of lockdown, the transaction was going to be done by post and at no point was I being pushed into buying, plenty of reasssurance that if it wasn't right, a refund would be right there. I was also involved with the rest of the family as they were kind enough to take photos especially for me and email them to me.
I am not used to buying jewellery but had no choice as I had lost a sentimentally valuable family ring just as lockdown began and the replacement needed to be so similar as to fool the family! What a time to be hunting for jewellery; I was shilded and the jewellery shops were on-line only if open at all. I had a list of jewellers from my insurers to start me off, local shops were shut down, so I went to Google. I found a similar ring (out of hundreds) at The Antiques Jewellery Company and, going to their website, found a second similar ring. I phoned Ollie, to whom - as I've said - it was a real pleasure to talk and who really listened to what I was saying. Ollie put one ring in the post immediately and kept the other ring on hold. I continued the Google/Ebay/Jewellery shop web search, but nothing else came up. While the first ring was en route, a third suitable ring quietly turned up on the AJC web-page, amazing really. Without hesitation, I bought the third ring! It was absolutely perfect for what I wanted, very beautifuland I regret not one penny of what I paid over the insurers contribution!
As you can imagine, this involved quite a bit of personal transaction and the personal touch never waivered. Should I ever be in the happy position of buying more jewellery, I wouldn't hesitate to go straight to The Antique Jewellery Company. Thank you Ollie, Matt and Zuleika!

I'm so pleased to have found the Antique Jewellery company, they provided an impeccable service and the jewellery is beautiful.
I wanted to propose to my (now) fiancee, but didn't have the first clue about engagement rings or what to look for. I knew I wanted to find a unique piece, felt that antique would be the way to go, I also didn't want to be sold to!
I found the Antique Jewellery Company online, selected a few rings that I wanted to view and made a lunchtime appointment. I must admit I was pretty nervous on arrival but realised very quickly I needn't be. The whole experience was wonderful, the studio is relaxed, non pressured at all and they're so helpful and friendly, patient too!
After plenty of advice, I chose an Art Deco ring that my fiancee adores, I'll be back for sure. In fact, my fiancee has already started showing me eternity ring she likes. Looks like I'll be making a return visit!
