Useless! Hot on PCN's, pursuing council tax etc but utterly useless when it comes to service delivery. One example is every Xmas they issue clear bag(s) for each household for the extra rubbish generated at Xmas and due to no bin collections due to the hols but they never collect these clear bags. Always left strewn across the city and end up ripped by vermin creating a mess! That's just one example btw, I would need a lifetime to list other ngtves/issues but a second or less to list any pstves

That institution does not serve any purpose at all. Pest control department is shambolic and superfluous. We had rats in the garden, they have set up traps with poison but rats are still running around. They will not do anything else. I have setup some traps myself and they are working significantly better. One of the traps caught live rat, but pest control will not support with removing it. Advice was to catch it in the bag and hit it with the hammer !! Additionally they want to collect their useless traps, but collection time is between 9AM - 3PM. Normal people are at work and they are threatening to charge us for traps which does not even work. What purpose pest control department is serving other than draining money ?

Very sad and disagree about your parking system I park my car infrond of my drivey during my holiday ones I come back I got PCN I don't know why.... I went council house today morning they said they can't give any face to face appointment call the number . I know its waste time dear council if you want more money do something else instead of cheating the residents thanks.

Very long hold, about an hour I think, followed by dealing with VERY short tempered staff at the other end was not a good combination. Calling and asking for help to have someone immediately raise their voice at you is not professional. Will be calling again soon and update my review if the second encounter is more positive.

I make call to Coventry city council keep holding for 26 minuets still no answer, audio keep playing we are very busy keep waiting. Useless service. We know you busy to chatting, social media and making tea and smoking. And we are working people using our lunch break to holing you call for more than 26 minuets. It’s very very poor. Unbelievable and horrible experience with you. I don’t know what the our political leader doing who asking to vate them for council elections. Very very disappointing.

I had the misfortunate to get lost in the centre of Coventry somewhere near the ring road....... and within 30 minutes was captured by the beady eyed traffic camera, that clearly works and was issued with 4 parking tickets. I came to drop my nephew off from London to Coventry University - my good deed for the week. I called and spoke to a wonderful lady called Charlene! Common sense prevailed and 3 or my 4 tickets were cancelled and I paid for one. I had come up from London and was not familiar with the area, so ended up driving round in circles. Thank you very much indeed once again Charlene, I hope your department knows what an asset they have in you.!

Disgusting. Changed rubbish to every 2 weeks and never came to pick up rubbish they forgot to collect. Called them to switch from smaller bin to larger - 8 to 10 weeks wait of putting only 4 bags in front of the house with having to tag every one of them apparently, as the bin has to be empty for the 8 weeks! Rudicolous service. And walking around Coventry is walking on rubbish itself most of the time anyway. Shame on Coventry and shame on conservatives for ruining everyone's lives. Good luck having a normal life in this town.

I would give -5* if I could. Took them 4 months to issue a bill that had incorrect postcode, name and amount charged ( single occupation discount hasn't been applied).
I went there to ask for correct bill, gave all of the documents they required. I have been told I'll get new bill with right details and right amount.
Finally after another month of waiting for the new bill I have received Council Tax Reminder Notice and a threat I'll be taken to the Court.
Ridiculous.
Living in Barnsley I've never had such kind of problems with Council.

Very poor service. Was on hold for a long time as having a real issue with getting through to a certain council department about a very important issue. I explained the telephone number I had been going to voice mail all day. The customer services lady said she would check the number for me. She put me through to the voicemail and hung up on me!!!!!! Ridiculous - pathetic customer service and a complete waste of time.

Phoned the council to ask why the grass outside our house has not been mowed for 3 to 4 weeks it is now a foot high !!!! Could not get through, and eventually the battery died on our home phone !!! I sent an e-mail but have not received an acknowledgement or reply. Mick Villiers 42 BRINKLOW RD, BINLEY, COVENTRY.

Very poor service given by the management of Coventry City council. Some staff are very rude and are hopeless. They give a very bad impresssion of the administration. Despite the increasing council tax we the people get a very poor return.

Refuse department must be run by incompetent managers who do not deserve to have a job, that's two fortnightly collections they have not emptied the brown lidded bins, what am i paying my rates for and where are our local councillors.
