This is supposed to be a public service!
On the planning web page it states - 'We welcome pre-application discussions and we strongly encourage you to consult us before you submit a planning application. We offer an advice service on proposals, which can help you overcome issues which could impact on the success of your application.'
I emailed a simple request for information about a specific property and the reply was
'Unfortunately, owing to an unprecedented volume of demand the Planning Department is currently experiencing, we are unable at present to undertake pre-application advice for domestic/householder schemes. This will come into effect from 1st December 2020 and is likely to remain in place until 31st March 2021 but will be kept under view during this timeframe.' Unbelievable!

we want to complain Rugby council . We have stocked Rugby train station area over 80 minutes this morning , all A426 in Rugby area are terrible, because Rugby council did not spray sault on the main road .!!
There are 3 of big lorries blocked the road because slip road condition . why the Rugby council did not arrange sault spreading before snow coming ? That is so serious effect all of drivers on such dangers road !!

Brilliant service I asked about some awful litter being picked up on my walk, the lady on the phone at the council was excellent and very helpful, within 4 hours I had an email to confirm the litter would be picked up and within 24 hours it was all gone, thank you, great service

Not helpful just ignorant, unless your from Eastern Europe (Priority) And you never get a reply via email. The council shouldn't exist. There in the right all the time. I never got a reply from DHP About £600 they owe me. Out of my wages ? Wake up council.

Awful rude people can never get an adult conversation out of anyone and they certainly don't know how to listen or pick up dog foul or litter from the streets and it is an absolute pleasure to have left rugby and live somewhere else
