First and foremost; staff were friendly, store itself was clean and organised (well deserved star) - though no one was able to pick up the store specific phone when tried calling throughout the day. The products in question are falsely advertised/ their product entry team are lazily pasting in the wrong information - superseding brick and mortar store itself. False advertising alert: (See images attached for reference) I ordered 2x Logitech H150 PC headsets off their website for collection 1 black and 1 white. Whilst advertised as H150, turns out the black is actually H151 - 151 only has a single jack connector whereas white 150 has two (1 for audio and one for microphone). As a result team conference is not going ahead until black headset is replaced with white... terrible. Example of online shopping gone wrong.

Overall they are good, but some stuff don’t want to work. They don’t want to help customers and feels like they do it over forcing themself to provide help and a client support. Management should pay more attention to who is working there.

Haven’t purchased from Argos in a while, but previously other visits to other stores have been pleasant. On this occasion (Argos Strand, London...31/10/19 @ 19:52) however the same cannot be said. Unfriendly service, bordering rude.

Nice very clean branch! Awesome staff! Especially Mariam who served me, she even brought to me my order and Fatou who came over and asked if I needed help and assistance. Both young ladies attended to me with a smile, a perfect example of the new generation! Kudos to Argos for these young ladies!

This Argos is 21st century store! You won't find any of those laminated catalogues and screens with button or posters in this store. Instead everything is digital! TV screens replace posters, tablets replace catalogues and receipts are emailed to you. Lots of trees saved! Well done! Service is equally good.

Frequently out of stock perhaps due to its strategic location. Visited on a separate occasion (24/11/2017) and was served by a Nadia. Fantastic efficiency. Had to change a collection date and she very quickly did her magic and got that processed. Happy visit.

I went in to get a remote clicker for my laptop on Thursday morning just before 9am but couldn’t find it in the catalogue From my garbled description the young lady serving me quickly found one - but unfortunately it was out of stock. She said it was easy to order but I said I needed it for 10am. She then showed really gave great customer service directing me to an IT shop 5min down the street - where I got my clicker Can someone say thank you to her

The catalogue is no longer available, its all now on tablets. All well and good if it displayed items that were in store only now the online range is mixed in with The in store range so you end up going through loads of items just to find something in store. For example they don't actually stock rugs in the strand store, that's fine but don't list it. You'd be better of reserving an item on your phone while travelling to the store as standing around trying to find a product is rather tedious .

Slowest service ever, I could've walked to China and picked up an SD card from the manufacturing plant quicker! Ended up sat on the floor for 25 minutes after paying! If you are honestly gonna make people wait this long how about a sofa or two!

So difficult to shop here now. Argos have replaced their wonderful catalogues with touch-screen tablets. The search functions are terrible and return no results, only for you to find the product code in from a website to find the product. And much faffing with the "browse" option you can eventually find what you are looking for. Once you have navigated appropriately, your list of items doesn't show what is in stock, so you have to select each item to find out that it doesn't exist in this store, or any other stores nearby either. Why even offer these an an option? Some catalogues still exist, but appear to be solely focused on Christmas gifts, and lack an index so you are stuck having to flick endlessly through pages. Finally when you do buy something, there is the insistence on selling you insurance cover. "Would you like cover only £4 per year", but for £10 cuff links I don't think I really need them do I? You cannot even buy the item from the tablet, the one bit of an Argos experience that used to be annoying was writing down strange codes and taking them to a till. That bit they have decided to retain.

I visited the store yesterday. I searched on the catalogue system for a Samsung S8 charger and purchased one from the search. I took the charger home, opened up the packet to try it and found that it didn't fit my phone. I naturally returned it today for a refund but was told that because the packet had been opened they would not refund it. The charger was back in the packet and in it's original condition and I had the receipt with me. There was nowhere on the packet or in the online description to suggest that it would not fit my Samsung S8. Be very wary of goods purchased at Argos and ask to check refund policy before you buy

Not only was there a confusion in the processing of the order, I was charged the wrong amount, for a wrong product, - which I clarified, to be corrected to right product, overcharged. This has to be resolved instore - which means another trip there. Save the hassle and get it from Amazon, where everything is 5-20% cheaper, and you don't have to deal with inadequacy as such. There are better ways to flush 30 minutes of my life and 18 pounds down the toilet.

During the heat wave this week, I went to Argos to get a fan. I first went to the strand location to purchase a fan and was able to reserve the fan at the marble arch location. We bussed to the marble arch location and were told that they had an issue and reservations and stock weren't working correctly.

Staff member shouted SHUT UP at me twice! Wish I could give you 0 stars! Due to my past experiences with them I really don't expect much in the way of good customer care from Argos. It’s really just a glorified warehouse which attracts a certain type of person who likes working in that ‘simplified’ type of environment. Expectations on staff working at Argos must be low as in my experience that’s the level of care they consistently tend to deliver. You pay peanuts....... Personally, my aim is to get in and out as fast as I can with as little contact with the staff as is possible, but, the Strand team sink to such an all-time low when it comes to customer care that I feel I have to comment. Sadly, for me this is not the first-time staff there have been rude and delivered disgusting levels of customer care. Thinking it the quickest way I made my purchase using the online Fast Track facility. This initially seemed to work as my item was ready and waiting for collection. Great! Then I asked the girl serving me for a paper receipt (surely not too much to ask) and this is where the bare glimpse of good customer care I had seen ended, and rudeness prevailed. The printing of a paper receipts is no longer possible in Argos unless you ask for a VAT receipt which takes staff 10 mins to fill out by hand and involves a duplicate book! Goodbye Fast Track, hello 10-minute wait and being verbally abused by the staff! When I asked the staff member why she could not just get the till to print me a copy of my receipt I got a bored monotone, scripted response stating, "your receipt has been emailed to you bla bla bla". Not happy with this I asked the question "What’s the reason Argos wont issue customers a printed receipt though" to which I received the rolling of eye's and then a female member of staff (not even serving me) twice shouted over for me to SHUT UP! This was in front of other customers and her manager (who did absolutely nothing!). He did at least apologise to me for her rudeness before I left, but I still can’t quite believe it even happened. Well done Argos. Good Job. Pretty sure nothing will ever change for you or your charming Strand staff.

I have been to this store at 17:15 today the 17/04/18 the staff I had a very bad service the young teen had a lot of atitude with her and the manager in charge wasent very helpful looked like she didn't know what to do i asked to speak with the main manager he /she wasnt in store and they was given a lot of untrue information about the service of argos . But i have made a formal complain .
