I’ve been using this store for a while for various electronics. They sold me a stolen Apple Watch and the process to get my refund took over 6 weeks. Very poor. The staff explained why it had happened however if this loophole exists they shouldn’t be accepting the goods and selling them on. Be aware

Staff were super helpful, had a really good experience with Darren who was patient, thorough and helpful. There are some queues here, as staff interactions tend to be a bit slower, but good place to go as long as you don't mind a bit of a wait

Went in to buy a second hand unlocked iPhone X for £455, got it home only for my sim card not to be recognised by the device. Took it back to the store and it turns out the iPhone was actually locked to Vodafone. The man that served me the second time was actually very nice and seemingly competent but on the whole pretty disappointed with CeX and unlikely to be paying a visit to any of their branches again.

i made a mistake by naming an item wrongly when selling to cex which i got back 1.60 pounds for when i should i got 17 pounds. i went to there store 2 days after and got the remaining 15.40 pounds. great customer service and poor mistake on my end for not knowing the item really. but if you are nice to them they will surely help you. always be kind when talking to people. that way they will 100 percent help you.

Very good shop with good staff and a great selection of things ranging from games to CD’s, what I would like to know is do they repair electronics because I am having a problem with my PS4 Slim when I play certain games it freezes and now my PlayStation is stuck in Safe Mode and I can’t fix it

Your one-stop shop for video games, DVDs and movies, and used tech. They have a trade in program if you want to trade in games for cash back and they generally have a really good selection of second-hand games if you're looking for something new to play but don't want to pay full whack. They also have a great insurance scheme for any new games and it's worth being a member.

They take your old tech & give you cash - or about twice as much in store vouchers. And they've an Aladdin's cave of games, videos & tech - some nearly new! Recycling tech really does pay ????

Stock is pretty good for browsing, but very patchy depending on what people have returned. Hot new titles might not appear for a while, and older stock doesn't change (you can order from other stores). It would be good if they rotated back titles around different stores occasionally. Excellent for finding older/retro games and cheap DVDs. A lot of their business is phones now. Prices vary, sometimes really competitive, sometimes curiously stubborn Vs offers/discounts on brand new stock in other retailers/online stores. I still value owning physical copies. You can't lend or sell things you 'buy' on streaming services. Staff are not always super attentive, but generally knowledgeable and friendly.

I don't visit this branch often, but today I came in to sell some items, still unsure of the process. I was served by a young man named Kyle. He was very polite and approachable, and genuinely eager to help. He even made conversation as he rung up the items - which is more than I can say for anyone else who has served me in a CEX. I'll definitely make an effort to come back to this branch due to this great customer service experience!

Good place to buy dvd at bargain price, music cd, games for PS4 and others, games accessories, mobile phones, computers and accessories. You can even sell your own games and get cash or swap with other games (recommended as you get a better deal). The website doesn't look so updated, visiting the shop regularly is better.

Total scam. Everytime you need something they change their own rules: On the website it says you need a grown-up with 16 years old to exchange, when you come into the store all of a sudden Hass to be 18 years. They sell you the switch without the right assessor he’s and then refused to take it back saying that it must come with them. They can’t cancel your account because there’s no customer service. They suck.

The Hammersmith branch is good, one guy in there I find a bit annoying as he tries to talk about stuff he clearly knows nothing about, it sounds petty but I'd prefer people who work in these establishment to at least have a basic knowledge of most aspects they deal with.
Cex take a lot of stick but I don't see an issue with them, buying from them is reasonable and their trade-ins I feel are reasonable.

A nicely stocked store with loads of gadgets and CDs to choose from. Prices are very reasonable, service is usually prompt and helpful. I have to be dragged out by friends every time since I could stay for hours browsing through games.
