My iphone cracked open on one side today, I really thought I'd lost it.
Went to this branch of CeX in Kilburn where I had bought it years ago and although I knew it was out of warranty I thought I could ask for help.
And they delivered. Nathan was really on the job, he explained they don't do repairs but suggested the shop two doors down reassuring me they also use it sometimes so they can be trusted.
Went in the shop and in 10 min my iPhone had a new battery for £25.
A near miss indeed for me today, it could have been something serious or someone could have exploited my complete ignorance in the subject and sold me way more that it was needed for.
Well done Nathan and CeX staff in Kilburn, keep it up!

After spending a few hundreds 3&4 years ago I went back to sell(exchange for a voucher) a couple's of old Samsung's (one of them I bought there), a Microsoft Surface and iPad(bought it there as well). The guy after check my ID ask lot of questions started to say and repeat "I can't take it"... Using the only neuron he probably has. Ahhh Old lovely days when staff was nice to you... Would be Brexit?

You cannot go wrong with CeX; 2nd hand games at great prices, lots of stock, hardware and films also.. And on top of that, they're very fair with matters such as bringing something back within 2 days if not happy with it - including games, which seems very generous. This store in Kilburn is a good one; it's quite large with plenty of selection for gamers, and lots of films as well. It's spacious enough such that you can get your phone out and quickly check Amazon or something for a review of a game, before deciding. A great concept: well done, CeX.

I arrived at store at 18:05, they were just about to close apparently even though on Google it said open till 19:00.
I quickly begged them to let me get something as i had travelled some distance especially but to no avail.
I'm really angry with them because it would seem that they don't value their (first time in my case) customers
I'll have to think about whether i want to go back there

Staff eating on the counter when i aprotche him to ask just a question he put a paper on my face (saying till is closed) if he was on is break why was there heating knowing any customer can come to ask him something and i was about to buy a guitar hero for my self but with that actittude i end up not buying nothing i juat left really angry about that actittude i do mot recomend the place at all and i the tipe of person who buys like 10 to 15 dvd or games a month but i will never will be bacl there

As I decided to join the playstation 4 family I chose this shop to buy the console and some games (my friends recommended to buy from CEX). It is a really great choice for gamers, movie lovers or just someone who wants to buy a mobile phone or a tablet. Though a lot of stuff are used (second handed) but you can get really good condition stuff for a very good price. There is a possibility to exchange games, computers, consoles etc. for cash or a voucher that can be used when buying new things. So easy, cheap, comfortable. I really recommend this shop for people who decided to join the gaming world!

HEADS UP : I tried to sell brand new, expensive mobile (closed box) given to me as a wanted gift. Clerk at Kilburn CEX stated a payment price, but that would need to open and test it. Returning after a few minutes he said the phone passed all tests but would need to offer me £50 less because the charger had a EUROPEAN PLUG which sounded very unreasonable (a brand new official UK charger sells for £15-£30 at Amazon) cheaper elsewhere. Now, he had substantially decreased the street price for my phone, as he had opened the box too (possibly even more than £50). I still didn't sell to these crooks.

They gave me a great deal trading in my old Mac, especially because it had a slight crack on the hinge which meant they could have refused to take it, gave a way better deal than other electronics shops on Tottenham Court Road. Sold me and as brand new MacBook as well for nearly £500 less than retail price, I got it home to discover it had never been used before so a brilliant bargain!

Not organised at all and also a bit contradictory. I tried to sell my Xbox and to buy on the same day a PS4. The Xbox hasn't been accepted because the european plug, so they said that don't accept different plugs from.the UK one. By the way, I got a PS4 from them and when I arrived home I realised that PS4 took from them on the same day, it was with the european plug... it seems that they just make some excuse to don't take items. Also not knowledge of the products at all.
