Tried to trade Chromebook owned by Cex back to upgrade. They would not accept it because it had Enterprise enrolment on it which I was not aware of. I brought it back in the condition I was sold it to the company.
Company processed the product incorrectly in the first place and now wants nothing more. Having tried contacting customer support they stated that Enterprise enrolment would not have been on there.
This leaves two scenarios I was sold with Enterprises enrolment on it or their staff added it on because I disputed the value of the trade in because I'm not computer technician. I bought it for studying originally and needed a newer model for job interviews because I am unemployed. Thanks a lot Cex.
My advice, before trading in or buying a chromebook check for Enterprise enrolment. And to guard against a situation like this do a video record.

They have some sick stuff and some really cool items like phones and there are even BOXED PS2 and this is also the first time I got to see Google stadia in real life and I even touched it and had a quick 5 min gameplay!

I came to this location to check my laptop as it wasn't turning on, they offered me a refund as they didn't have a replacement for it, I wasn't happy with it so I took my laptop back because what I wanted was a replacement or repair.
After talking with head office and accepting that there was no possible replacement or repair for it I brought the laptop back to proceed with the refund, now they said they can't do that, when in the first place they said they would, this is so annoying, as it is making me loose time, I have no laptop to work with, can someone help with this? So annoyed about this

Yesterday got offered £26 by manager for apple tv 3rd generation having previously been offered £40 (grade A) in another Cex branch. Insisted on finding the slightest scratch to downgrade it - seemed part of a well rehearsed strategy.
Suspicious, I went to a Cash Converters in Fulham and got offered £35, no problem. Probably £5 undervalued but who cares - it was a pleasure to sell to them. Much better customer service, customer assistant much more pleasant to deal with and fairer minded too. I could live with the deal.
Manager in this Cex branch is aloof is only out for himself. Seemed content to take the customer for a fool. That seems to be the Cex way. If you screw over the customer, so what.
My advice don't go here, shop around and you'll likely get a better deal or just sell through a website. Don't give them the pleasure of taking your money - screw them over and vote with you feet.

I spent £300 for phone witch is got up to 40wats fast charging option, but they give me his own sh#t charger witch is not supported. That's shame cause in similar situation at different store I received not the original but generic quick charging power brick with the same parameters. 3stars it's more than they deserve

This is my Local, staff on the whole. Knowledgeable and off they don't know will ask a colleague to get the answer. Products are graded and prices reflect this. Electronics get 2 year warranty!! Have has on Xbox One Elite Controller fail and voucher issued against price new one ordered. SIMPLE. Regularly recommend to friends and family. Avoid lunch and near closing times as gets really busy.

Right so, I went down London on holiday and spent a week with a pal, came into this Shepard's Bush CeX, and picked up Final Fantasy XV on PS4. So I just got home and was playing Ace Combat which I bought new from Amazon with no issues, then I went to put in Final Fantasy, and oh boy I should really have checked the disc before leaving the store, it was absolutely filthy. Yet I did manage to clean it up and after a couple of minutes it looked pretty good, so I stuck it in. Installed fine, waited to update. After the update it just said the disc is not readable and I need to eject it at which point the disc started to knock about inside of the console, which was absolutely terrifying might I add. And then I discovered that the disc would not eject after I had pressed the button however the console believed that there is no disc inside, and the disc to this point continues to knock, and now for some reason as I'm typing this, instead of turning off when holding the power button, the console is not infinitely going into rest mode.
To end this long drawn out message I'll simply say, the staff in this store aren't checking quality and cleaning the discs, buying from this store is dangerous, would absolutely recommend avoiding and going to the Hammersmith CeX store instead, the guys in there were lovely

I have been coming to this shop for more than 10 years anytime I need to buy something but I do not want to pay the full price. Here you can find second hand tech stuff which is usually in good conditions at very convenient prices. The shop is quite big and you can practically find anything you need. The staff is informal and helpful. The section dedicated to games is big and offer a vast choice. If you are in the area I suggest you pop in

Well stocked exchange shop, primarily console games and mobiles. Staff are friendly and helpful enough and know their games. The prices are pretty competitive and are usually set based on popularity of the game (the more popular, the more the cost). If you own a console and have a few quid in change, you'll probably find some cheap game to have a play through. They have a returns policy, so you can feel fairly confident in your purchase. Recommend it.

Very unwelcoming and impolite staff. When girl who works there realized I am just looking for a quick information about diffused flash she literally send me away saying they don't have it. Saw it in shop window on the way out. Pity for the shop because I was in a hurry to meet friend at the station in front of the shop and had intention to come back and buy it. Not anymore!

Cheap second hand movies, games and stuff. Not much to review to be honest. Look for what you want and if they happen to have it you can be sure it will be cheap. If they don't, we'll, you either look for another CeX or you pay full price somewhere else
