For a store that's always half empty, staff are a little bit slow but that's coming from someone who also works in retail & is constantly on the go. Other than that, it's a fairly decent store, pretty good layout of all categories of films & games etc, staff are okay in terms of acknowledgement. I'd recommend.

The store manager was very aggressive and rude. In the likely scenario that you find yourself with a faulty product this store did not follow through with the warranty as listed on the website. I was sold a scratched disk which when I first returned to the store they did not let me trade in and made me return on another day to see the store manager. The manager was very incompetent and when he realised he was at fault for having sold me a scratched disk he refused to give me my money back. I strongly adivce against buying from this shop as they do not hold to there word and can't be trusted. Luckily for me it was just a disk but I would see how they could scam people out of a lot more money by selling a faulty console and refusing to refund the money and offering just a trade in option which means you would lose half your money. I think in the future I will go back to buying second hand items from ebay which have a much more efficient customer service team which never hesitate to offer a full money back refund whenever you buy a faulty product.

I've only just started going to Cex more regularly, as I've had some games to trade in. I was really impressed with the level of service and advice they offer. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's very easy to exchange old games.

Small shop, however I found lots of movies that I like and the young cashier was not very pleased and looked like it was a hard work for him to find all the correct DVD’s. Tried to make a joke with him, however received a very snotty comment back. When returned home, I found all the bigger sets with more than one dvd inside all mixed up. And mixed up on purpose. Not professional at all. On my way out he sighted so loudly I felt bad for even shopping there. I will be back, because I like their collections, however I make sure to be served by someone else.

I went there to sell my iphone 8 with the front glass broken, they told me they would buy it for £85 but if I fixed the screen they would buy for £185 so I went to fix the screen thinking I would make profit as Im really in need of money at the moment. So I struggled to find some money to fix it but I did. When I went back at the shop they told me they wouldn't buy for £185 only for £85 they play with people made spend money I don't have and they don't buy was awful

Went into this branch today to trade in a game for cash. Firstly, my experience with the reprsentaive was not pleasant to begin with. This was noticeable through her body language and facial expressions. Secondly, she rolled her eyes once finding out I did not have a membership card. We later discovered I did not need a card and was able to continue the transaction with my address details. This should/could have been mentioned from the very beginning. Finally, the money received for my product was slung on the counter. This was not appreciated!
Regardless, the store was clean and tidy compared to other branches. It's a shame the staff let the experience down on this occasion.

Nice store. Bigger than Hammersmith. Although I bought a pair of £100 headphones that I couldn't return I still come regularly for games and films, as they have competitive second hand prices, but will never buy anything else from here again.

Disgusting customer service, rude and dishonest. I have shopped at CEX for a long time and have never had the problems I have had in this store. If you are selling items please be aware the store seems happy for staff to lie and that the the prices they buy for, are not the same as the ones listed on the website or app., as they "have another system" they go by (probably another lie). Honestly never breen treated so badly in any store I have been in, shocking.

Do not buy in this shop !! I recently bought 3 games, Fifa 18, GTA, and Destiny. Fifa 18 was damaged, but it worked. GTA was ruined and scratched. I have an X box one and I bought Destiny, but once I open the package I see that the game was for x box 360. Not only unreliable, but also shrewd

Cex is a powerhouse of video games, whatever you want will be there including movies and Dvds. Luckily this store is more convenient than game because it has games even on the nes, snes, Gameboy, PS, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch. This place is a true piece of art.
