I bought a car from them a few years ago have had no problems with it at all they have a. Very large selection of vehicles for sale plus the staff are very helpful it's very easy to find just over the railway bridge as you drive into castle donington

Bought a car early last year. Drove off felt something was wrong dropped into a garage with concerns as car was shuddering. The mechanic put it up in the air and bolts were missing. Had it fixed as mechanic would not let us leave without it being fixed. Went back to a available car, castle donington and chap said he would let me know how this happened, so far heard nothing. Very disappointed and would never buy from these again.

After my other available car review of Sutton, a one star review, it made sense to review this branch.
Completely different experience and the cars are in better condition regards stone chips, scuffed etc.
The new boy Jack was enthusiastic, professional and pleasant. No spiel during the test drive, allowing you to do exactly that.
Told him what we wanted, what we didn't and the expectation. No problems, no attitudes. Great.
So brother decided that he'd like to purchase it and were handed to Paul, which is company policy as he wasn't trained to the extent to complete the sale.
So over to Paul, again professional and pleasant. We told him how it was, dont try to sell any finance, GAP insurance, gadgets. Just make the numbers work or meet somewhere we both like.
Long story short, brother picks his new car up next week.
Don't bother with Sutton as per my other review. If you want fairness try this branch

Very helpful. Was given a map on where to find the type of car i was looking for. No pushy sales reps while you look around. Most cars were accessible to look inside. Once i found a car i liked they promptly organised a test drive. Would highly recommend them.

A great place to choose a car from. Reasonable prices and a good selection. I would have scored it higher but the music blaring out in the showroom was way too loud for me and we seemed to spend a lot of time in there waiting for different 'team's to attend to us. Having said, parents are delighted with their car.

I went to have a test drive and have my car valued, I was assured the valuation would take place during the test drive however I could hear them excessively revving my car. Is that how you value a car these days?
The test drive happens and when I get back to my car, the smell of clutch of overwhelming with my seats left in the wrong positions.
AVOID this company, shocking betrayal of trust and lack of knowledge of cars.

Not really AvailableCar. The car I purchased 11 days ago is still unavailable.
Wasn't told until AFTER I had purchased that they didn't currently have the V5 but was reassured it should be back any day soon and was booked in 4 days later for collection. The day before I get a call telling me the V5 still isn't there and they would keep me updated and had to call the DVLA in a week to check up on it.
4 days later and still no update so I called the DVLA who informed me there is nothing processing on my numberplate and if it has taken so long a new one should be applied for. So I called AvailableCar. Got a call back saying they have no idea when they will get it and they've apparently been on the phone every day chasing it up. I highly doubt it.
It seems to me that AvailableCar don't want to spend the little bit of money it takes to apply for a new V5 and are just hoping it will arrive. You'd think spending £25 on a new one would be nothing compared to the 20k I spent on the car but I suppose every penny counts to them.
They may claim that they don't sell cars, they help you buy but to me this is bull. They didn't help me with any potential issues, they sold me a car I cannot have yet. As long as they have your money and sale they really don't seem to care. As other people have said, they are very helpful up until your purchase. After that it seems they rush on to sell their next car.
My advice would be to check and then double check that they actually have the V5 for your car before buying it because the outlook for me at the moment is waiting another 6 weeks for them to sort it out.

Went with father in law to choose a car for him. Was impressed that they leave to browse on your own with no hard sell. The only negative was there was a lot of cars on site that had not gone through preparation yet and were locked.

This place is ok but to try and find a car that you want is frustrating! The cars are sorted into small medium and large cars all mixed together it would be much easier to have all the same make all together in one area and I thing the cars are not valeted very well as I am a valeter presentation could be a lot better than displayed.

So far, so good. Good communication from the centre prior to my visit. I had dealings with 4 people during my visit and each person was polite and helpful.
I actually decided to go with a car today. There wasn't any pushy selling and the sales team were relaxed.
I'd definitely use them again.

Poor service from Available Car in Castle Donington. Purchased a car only to be told on the day we were due to collect it that there was a fault with the car and they were struggling to find the parts. They then rang a few days later and said that the car was not fit for sale so they were cancelling our sale. We then looked at another car and gave them over a week to have the car ready for collection. Again they called the day before we were due to collect and said there was a fault with the car and they were trying to source parts. After two failed attempts I won’t be trying again and have asked for our money back and won’t be returning there for another car or recommending them to others.

Had seen a Mazda online and throught we'd have a look at it. Was a bit of a trek coming from Scunthorpe and the car was slightly more expensive than elsewhere, but they gave us a good value on our part exchange and in my opinion, their reputation was worth the extra we paid for the car. The whole process was quick, simple and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! NEGLECTED MY 19 MONTH OLD CAR!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be a returning customer in the future. Firstly the car I purchased was falsely advertised as having parking sensors when it didn’t this was resolved by them knocking the cost price of them from final purchase. Secondly it has recently been in for repair and one of their incompetent employees has left the drivers window open overnight outside and because of the rain it resulted in it getting the inside and seat soaked. I appreciate accidents happened although it would not have happened in the first place if staff paid more attention to their job and checked cars before leaving them overnight! They have dried out the car seat before handing the car back however I wouldn’t trust them to look after a stuffed animal never mind a car! Money has been stolen from my pertrol coin stash (not alot but thats beside the point) and one of the car mats has not been put back in. Avoid like the plague!

As I was purchasing the vehicle from overseas I put a lot of trust in the staff of Available Car.
Trust to be open and honest. Unfortunately when I arrived to collect the vehicle it was clear and obvious that it had sustained heavy damage (albeit repaired) to the rear and nearside. I was never informed of this, despite asking. There was tape and polishing dust left behind, all over the areas in question, as well as colour disparity. It was clear that they were aware of the damage but chose not to disclose it. I expected more.
I have since left feedback with management but heard nothing back.
Disappointed to say the least and will not use again.

Iv always like coming here, nice to look around the cars I cannot afford and pretend I am driving them making all the noises, staff are friendly and not pushy at all, When we did buy a car, Paul was very friendly, was not pushy with the extras and did exactly what he said he would do, even kept my lad enterained with his Fortnite stories.
