Paid a deposit for a car, 2 hours later they rang to tell me the car was now sold and I’d get a refund....not sure that’s how a deposit works but had no choice in the matter. Ended up going elsewhere, finding a better model of the car at a better price.
Nice to walk around but wouldn’t buy from there.

bought a car £12500 and it was damaged sometime after i had placed the order, the whole boot needed a respray but they would only remove the dents and fill the scratches in the best they could (looked terrible) so only 2 weeks after picking it up i traded it back in with them for a £2000 loss on what i paid because it was winding me up. Next car same thing happened again only this time it was just dangerous! They repaired a chip in the window screen which i knew nothing about (100% wasn't there when i placed the order or on the work sheet) The chip was the size of a pound coin on collection but i didn't notice it till i got down the road a few miles. Rang them straight up only to be told yea its safe. Well 1 week later it was a 4" crack and growing, 2 weeks later it's a third of the window screen. I had only 1 working break light and a few other issues. So I took it back twice to be sorted, I didn't use the car because it was just to dangerous to have my kids in. I asked them to take the car back and hey presto...another 2K loss. Never again.....not the company they use to be. They wouldn't send their mechanic out in it due to the windowscreen being to dangerous, but it was ok to make me wait 2 weeks and drive it like that. That final 2 hour drive on the motorway to take it back was nerve racking. The wind pressure alone was cracking the screen further.

I can imagine how busy used car sellers are right now but i've been trying to reserve/purchase a car all week and no success.
Even today, I called twice with the promise of a return call and no one has called me back.
I can't place a deposit and I can't reserve the car I want. Oh well I should probably take my business elsewhere.

My partner went through a credit application and reserved a car to then be told the day before we where due to test drive that the paperwork was wrong as the address had been put down as living there for 3 years when it was 3 months (error by person at available car). Then told that a new report would be put through to then be told there was a further issues that available car where resolving.
Over a week down the line and still no update!!! A hard search left on the credit file for absolutely no point. Given them until 12:00hrs on 09/05/21 to sort this out and if not we will then be taking our business elsewhere.
Can never get hold of anyone on the phone and they don’t reply to emails. Really poor customer service!!! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Take your business else where it will be easier and you might actually get chance to speak to someone!

A lot of cars to look at, initially impressed with reception and whole place and lad who took me for test drive pretty much sold me the car but then put off by guy who goes through figures, made me feel like I'm just another mug lined up to buy there cars and for some reason was telling me there always busy and there's plenty more buyers, I only asked if they'd knock a couple hundred off the price.

Last year in July I purchased a car from available car using all my saving that took me a lot of years to save for. I purchased a Nissan qashqai from them costing £13500 I took a massive gamble as the 3 months warranty I find is a bit of a joke when a person is spending so much money. I brought the car back during that 3 month period as I kept having problems with the clutch not engaging properly. There mechanic took it for a drive and assured me there was nothing wrong with the clutch but would bleed it through just to be safe. The car continued to have the same problem so I brought it back again this time was outside the 3 months warranty period but agreed to look at it as I reported it during the 3 months warranty period. Again was told nothing wrong with the clutch. The mechanic oiled up the gear selector and said that should do it but he couldn’t detect any problem with it. I carried on having the same problem but just believed it must be how the car is!. Now a couple of months later whilst driving with my wife and 2 young children the clutch completely went on me. RAC towed me to my local garage to which informed me my clutch and clutch slave had gone! It’s now cost me £760 to get fixed. The car has only done 20,500 miles. I’m a careful driver and only do a few miles a day. We have done just 2000 miles under our ownership. I don’t expect they will do anything about it but I do believe this is poor service to be told there was nothing wrong with the clutch when evidently there was and after bringing it back twice when I’m also not local to available car. I can safely say I will never use available car again and discourage anyone I speak to from using them to. Buy from a main dealer better warranty you don’t have to pay extra for and I’ve also just found online there is a outstanding recall which was issued around the same time I brought it to! So yeah having a great time with this car ( sarcastic)

There is a good selection of cars and being free to browse without staff hassle is very attractive. I bought a car, which has been a good vehicle. But, check the car carefully before driving off because mine had faults which were missed by garage staff. Also, not being able to collect your car at the weekend is a major minus point.

Have had 2 experiences of buying a car here, both hassle free. Completely pressure-off environment. Can browse at leisure with no interruption or intervention but there are people around to ask questions to if required. One experience of part-exchanging also done without a fuss and a smooth transition.
Everything is explained at every step and nothing is forced on you. If you want to walk away, you can, if you want to think about things you can. I would thoroughly recommend anyone shopping around to try a car buying experience with these lovely people. See you in a few years for car number three!

I've never had much luck with used car dealerships and always felt like I've been had as soon as I drive away so I wasn't expecting too much.
But surprisingly the staff were very friendly without being false, honest and open, the car was a great price and there was no hidden extra's.
The whole process of viewing, test driving and buying was very simple and actually a painless experience.
I've no regrets about buying from here and would definitely recommend them!

Seen a 66 plate white Ford Kuga on available car website located at this branch, travelled from Leeds to see it. Spoke with an advisor previous to this who booked us in to test drive it and also gave us a rough valuation for our car but told us we will probably get more as this was without seeing it. After an hour and half drive we got there, had a look around the car and seen the under tray for the car was in the boot. Questioned this, as it seemed strange that this was off, and was told it was because the car was under going checks. My partner took it out for a test drive and it stalled on him twice while driving at quite some speed. Very disappointed to have travelled all that way for something like this to happen. Thankfully it did happen because it maybe saved us a lot of problems after making a £15000 purchase. Would like to say Dom who dealt with us was great, felt sorry for him as nothing like this had happened to him before and he was very apologetic. The manager who dealt with us however, was not very sympathetic and said he has had this happen before. He also told us that the valuation we had over the phone was an up-to price and we would never get more than that even thought that’s not what the first advisor had told us. Our car was also marked down as ‘good’ over the phone but was deemed ‘excellent’ when it was looked at. First time dealing with available car and if I’m honest it has put me off completely.

I saw a car I wanted last weekend and spoke via a webchat. There were a couple of questions I had which could not be answered. I was promised a call back but never got one. I chased this up Monday and was again promised a call back as soon as a salesperson became free. Now Wednesday and still no call. The car I wanted has now also been sold. Needless to say I won’t be back. Useless.

Should be done for false advertising, there is a fiat 500 pop FN17 MZY currently for sale, saying it has Air conditioning when it clearly hasn't, customer service is terrible, they don`t give a damn if you buy from them or not.

Excellent range of cars available. However was disappointed that so very many did not have detailed description sheets on them. Also, at my last visit 7 years ago, automatics had large banners on windscreens so they could easily be distinguished from a distance.... not so now. Could not locate 2 autos I had shortlisted via website despite being told at front desk of their "rough" location. Needs some investment in barcode/QR/ warehouse management IT etc to help customers more accurately locate cars matching their specific criteria.

Excellent until pick up of the vehicle. Couldn't fault the service on purchase which was fairly straight forward. There's no game of poker to be played as the price is non negotiable as they work on small margins. However, after a 2 week wait to pick up the vehicle, we had to wait 20 minutes on conclusion of the paperwork to actually get the car as they were still valeting it?!?! Why bother, the valet was pretty poor, especially the interior.
Would have been 5 star but for that. No apology for the wait either.

Only care for the sale!! Not bothered once you get the car. DVLA were unaware of the new registered keep which was me for over a year and they advised that Avaliable car should have send off the V5C. My car ended up getting seized and had to pay £220 to get it back due to no tax for a month as dvla were unable to contact me as they didn't know I was the new keeper. I picked my car up from the compound and they said that this isn't the first time this has happened!! Be CAREFUL!! Avaliable car didn't want to take any responsibility, no apology. I know for definite I will NOT get a car from them again. Only care about the sale, after sale experience is awful, no respect. Never normally leave reviews but I just can't belive this! 10k car being seized and they didn't even care

Great place to buy a car. No hassle, no fuss as a simple as could be. Great selection, friendly staff and all come with choice of warranty and when you pick it up it is in showroom condition. Have brought 2 cars from here and would not hesitate to go back. Trade in prices aren't the best so may get a better price selling private but this can complicate the buying process. Go have a look you wont be disappointed.
