First visit to this one today, did look tiny on arrival but was surprised to see many cars on site.. Was great Ed on arrival and explained what was where and which way to go for the safety etc.. And no hassling at all which is what I like about available car!! The downfall is that all the cars were outside unlike the Leeds branch where there is a good amount indoors and overall has a better feel to it. The cars were all meant to be in order of size etc but we found all the cars were a mishmash and completely mixed up so had to go right to the far corner to start looking. Barely any cars that took my fancy.. Again Leeds seems to have a lot nicer choice. Just my opinion that if you are to visit I would go to the Leeds branch.

I have given only 2 stars for my review as we wanted to reflect back to you our impressions after our visit.There were obviously positives about our visit but we wanted to pass on these our constructive criticisms.
We didn't feel that the welcome was particularly helpful nor warm. We didn't find the car that we were looking for amongst the many on show. There were no representatives around to ask for advice. On leaving I passed on my disappointment to the reception staff. The response was a "sorry" comment with no positive strategy to help find an alternative vehicle. These comments are made to perhaps flag up some genuine additions that could be made when dealing with customers who have a definite specification for a vehicle.

Invited to look at a car over the phone, not told there would be an hour wait. Asked advisor if we could book an appointment another day, told yes but they're not even working to appointment times so possible that appointment time would not be kept and we may not be seen anyway. Absolutely shocking service, last time I'll be visiting this branch, just awful!

*** A long but honest review for future customers****
The experience was good initially in viewing the cars in the showroom but it all went down hill from there.
I was given a date in which was two weeks from the date of purchase that the car will be ready, just to be told on the morning of the collection date itself that my car was not ready.
To make things worse, I was told that no preparations or checks were not even initiated at all for my car. They knew this situation way in advance but only chose to inform me on the morning itself.
I was told to wait for another week in which they then cannot guarantee that it will be ready by then either.
When questioned further as to why for the delay, all was blamed on Covid-19, whilst the car dealer agent got very defensive and was very unapologetic for the delay.
A week later, they told me that there were further delays for the car needed fixing. I was told it was a simple fault and would take no longer than one day but......Without boring you the details of what happened, I was cancelled not once or twice but a total of three time each time guaranteeing that I will get the car in the following week.
At the time this post was created I have yet to get my car and it has been a month in total for the delays
Overall, I am beyond disappointed and with the services that I have received so far. I had a very poor and dissatisfactory experience with them. Not to mention a highly unreliable company.
I regret it to say that their customer service is appalling, and I do not wish to recommend them to my friends or family with their car purchase with available cars.
However I would highly recommend this car dealer if you love delays and empty promises x they won’t disappoint in that respect

Great place to check out cars. Staff are friendly and not pushy at all. Most cars are unlocked. Some were not clean, which surprised me. Would be even better if full details of each car were on a notice in the car. Coffee machine is great....try the espresso with chocolate.

Good place to buy a car. The sales people are really helpful and not pushy at all. Good selection of vehicles that are all open to view. The only reason for not buying from there was that the car I liked had a very strong smell of smoke inside. The cars should really be valeted before being put on sale.

I generally can’t find one single fault absolutely brilliant friendly organised team. All happy to help with everything from the moment you walk in the door. I took a car out for a test drive with one of the members of the team who was absolutely lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable of anything that was asked. When purchasing the car and picking the car up everyone that helped me along the way was brilliant. I will definitely be recommending the company to others.

Greeting, test drive and sales were really good, no complaints, no pressure selling. Nice and easy. Being let down for collection less the 24 hours before, is a major disappointment and inconvenience, already having sorted and cancelled existing insurance, causing me an additional cost for more insurance which you didn’t even offer to cover, another 4 days later on collection the car was still not ready and ended up being in there over three hours waiting on it to be finished. We were told we could have it within 7 days, we gave them 2 extra days and still didn’t get the courtesy to be told sooner it wasn’t ready. Upon final inspection of the car, the valet was poor, not even attempted to remove a mark on the headliner, and there were more scratches on the paintwork than there than there was before, although minor these should have been removed easily before the diamond bright was done. Wasn’t willing to wait any longer and started to doubt the quality of the work, so just took the car and will sort at my own expense. 14 days it took from the initial test drive and everything was left until the very last minute before collection. Very poor service, I was expecting a nice and easy car swap and was throughly disappointed, to the point I nearly cancelled and went elsewhere. I wouldn’t personally recommend to anyone that they use you for future car purchases. Although I understand this might not happen to everybody, it was still a poor effort on your behalf. I have that little faith now on the work that was carried out, I’m taking the car to a garage Saturday morning to be fully checked over.

On arrival at the door of this massively tv advertised company we couldn't get to see our chosen car because of no face mask available.What is rather more reflective of this business is the reply to this review. Any decent operative would reply with something like- " that's no problem mr.middleton ,we'll position a box of masks at the door so you don't come all the way to Donnington and find that you won't get past the door ,moreover a wasted journey " well, it's OK I've bought a car from parkway vw.

Really wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. Castle Donington is clearly showing on the reviews as the weakest link in the available car chain and here goes another string in their bow.
Purchased a vehicle for cash 11 days ago. Was told it’s the bank holiday weekend (paid cash on the Thursday) so your vehicle will not be ready until Tuesday as if that wasn’t taking the Micky waiting 5 days after paying cash to actually be able to drive away in the vehicle I just test drove.
I receive a phone call Monday stating there is a fault with the vehicle so it won’t be ready for 5-6 days. So now 2 weekends pass waiting for my vehicle that I bought expecting to drive away that same day.
A further phone call now reveals the part may be another 7-10 days as it’s coming from overseas as a Fiat 500 door lock is such a rare item. Never mind the fact you can find hundreds online with next day delivery.
Would have got my money back but they lock you in early by getting you to pay before the cars even ready and coming across as helpful by getting you to pay the full years car tax right there and then so it’s even more of a headache to back out. Oh and another thing it takes 5 days to get your money back and their price promise only is matched against a company that must have 5000+ vehicles on their books and not against a price from a garage with a few hundred (their words).
So look forward to another update if I get to the 3rd weekend with no car and I get to look forward to another train ride commute to work. Because as you do, I sold my vehicle once I found the one I wanted expecting a day or two with no vehicle once I found one... boy did available car prove me wrong.

I had a leaking clutch slave cylinder on my Audi a few years ago and they quick fixed it (bled it through) for a couple of weeks then it went again, and then told me my AA 5 star warranty would take care of it,
That was unacceptable, Dont bother to go

I've always had new cars from showrooms but wanted to stray away from this. I went to AvailableCar in Castle Donington and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the cars were. Service was great from the initial greeting to purchasing the car. Honest and friendly salesmen who aren't pushy but also give you information on what you may need that will benefit you in the long run such as Gap Insurance etc. I don't think I'll ever buy new again and will return to AvailableCar for all my cars.

Seem to have an issue with communication between people on the phone and sales. Told is twice two separate cars were ready but when we got there, they were in prep and undrivable. Sales person was really apologetic and took the time to talk to us about the car, which was nice- would give him a 5 star!

Buy our cars here all the time. Totally trust these guys and I wish I was richer to get a better car. They spend so much time with you and help you through your decision making. You get a better price for you trade in than with other car markets. Any issues during the first 3 months and its fixed and sorted. Recommend the warranty scheme, it does help.
