Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went in to try a concertina and ended up having a go at mandolin, banjo, guitar, Chinese violin, Chinese zither, harmonium, melodica, autoharp, low whistle and melodica... as well as impromptu demonstrations of shakuhachi, Scottish smallpipes and general discussion of life, universe and everything. Amazing experience, cannot recommend highly enough (unless you only want to buy one instrument!)

don't recommend at all. I ended up going and buying a £500 keyboard from the yamaha store instead of here because the guy couldn't be bothered to move some rubbish out of the way to let me see them. Rude, arrogant and unhelpful. If you don't want to sell stuff don't work in a shop.

One star for the staff in the shop who were not very welcoming at all and most unhelpful. Such a shame as I actually wanted to make a purchase only to leave empty handed and taking my custom elsewhere. The shop itself has lots of variety though, maybe it's just a staffing issue at this shop.
