World class drum shop, absolutely incredible service, I couldn't recommend highly enough. A massive thanks to Rob, Sam and Nathan.

Rob is an absolute legend, a wealth of knowledge and full of sound advice. He gladly ordered me in a large selection A-Customs, which I spent comparing over 3 hours in the practice room, eventually walking away with a full setup refresh. The shop has iconic status and is Aladdin's cave for any serious player / enthusiast - it's well worth a visit in person.

Good fun place! Went in to buy a new kit and some hardware last week, ended up spending nearly and hour and a half in the store browsing! The guys were great and patient and answered all my questions. Had a bit of a delay with the delivery company posting the kit to my house, but the Footes guys were great on the phone and got it sorted for me asap. Definitely recommend checking them out when in town!

Got a pair of Alpine earplugs here for my tinnitus and had a little chat with the guy at the counter. It was nice talking with someone with my same condition. If you are reading this review, good luck and take care, man. And if you have tinnitus, take a look at this store, they have the earplugs you need to protect your ears and still have audio clarity.

i understand that you guys are in central London and the shop is cool and well restocked, but being rude just for the sake to be...well, is not putting you under a good light. Here the conversation: -Hello, how are you?- silence -3 pair of drumsticks and this bub, thank you- silence silence -fiftyfour pounds- -Thank you, later.- silence

Friendly team, gives practical advice and not just trying to sell product. I went for violin strings and didn't know how to change it myself. The staff was very friendly and patience and show me how to change it as well. Other people leave review they are good, I agreed totally!

What brilliant service. The guy who looked after my son and advised him on what cymbals to buy was fantastic...even to the point of suggesting he buys a much cheaper second hand cymbal rather than a new one. Getting out loads of different cymbals to try and compare and taljed about different materials, weights and sizes. Thoroughly recommend them and we'll definitely go back (even though they are 100 miles away!)

This shop has a very good range of products, and many products to try and test out, however the staff were very unapproachable and rude, not even paying attention to us when we asked questions about the products. If your near, go to the Yamaha Music Store 10 mins away instead, where the staff actually care about the customer.

Best place to listen to and purchase cymbals. The downstairs 'practice' area has many cymbals on display to listen to and get the set that works best for your individual drumming style.

Awesome store, loads of cool and high quality products. I only went in to buy some sticks and I was given a bunch of different ones to try out on a great electronic kit. Very friendly and comprehensive, new go-to store.

I've given one star because there is no option to give zero. Rude, dismissive, unhelpful, condescending, patronizing and couldn't have cared less about what I wanted to buy. (And I would have spent a few hundred quid). Clearly customer service is not what Footes is all about. I'll stick to Wembley Drum Centre. They DO know how to talk to customers. Your loss Footes.

The staff obviously had bigger fish to fry rather than sell a starter electronic kit for 9 year old. Thank goodness for Yamaha on Wardour street.

Was really pleased to find the LP Cajon kick pedal, and beater in stock as opposed to the huge drum shop who always seems to only have ex display models left of what I want. Cool guys here and was interested to see a nice looking/sounding darbuka by Toca there.

Footes: Best music shop in London imo! Especially for drums and percussion. Few places left that you can still try kits, cymbals and other noisy things out these days. You don't get that online! So it's great that they're still going in their new Store Street location. Cheers guys!! :)

I am loyal to Wembley Drum Centre, but Footes is the place for drum sticks and things when you're in the centre of London's posh district.
