Been registered with them since 2009, I have no complaints at all. Yes sometimes you cannot get an appointment or have to wait when calling or wait for a call back, however myself and my children have had no issues and the staff are always professional towards us.

This is one of the worst GP offices I have dealt with or had to be a part of in my adult life. I "HAVE "to deal with and be a part of Dishley Grange, do to no other GP offices near by taking new patients or with in proximity to travel with ease as I do not drive, and can not travel far or for long. I understand they might be over worked now in pandemic times. However that does not give them the right to have such a rude and a horrid bedside manner both Reception and GPs; (perhaps only seeing people over the phone right now has caused them to forget we're still real people and in just as much care and need as before). I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but after being treated so poorly after yet another appointment, I felt time to say just how bad this GP office is becoming. They don't focus on what you are saying, explaining or even trying to directly show them in person, Getting an appointment or a call back is harder then potty training a toddler. If I had the ability to see and have a GP that was as close to travel to due to my ailments, I most definitely would see another practice. However we must play with the cards we are dealt. I just would tell everyone Look somewhere else if you want good help and a good GP office with proper care!

Pretty awful. Difficult to get an appointment. Just been in a telephone queue for 25 mins (started at number 15). When answered, I was told that the appointments have not been released yet (despite being told to call at this time). Advice: Try calling later today. No apology for the wait. I only want results of a blood test! If this was any other sort of service (shop, cinema, garage), it would have gone bust by now.

The place is a joke. Carnt even get in to the phone queue. And after getting through on the phone and telling them i needed an emergency appointment after ending up in the walk in center. Was told just keep taking pain killers. Well that afternoon after phoning 111 i was rushed 8n the the hospital for an emergency operation on my intestines as they had ruptured and was leaking in to my body poisoning me. After talking to the surgeons about it all. They told me if i hadn't come to the hospital when i did i could have died and to put a claim in against them as this was blatant Medical negligence. Which ive contacted 2 solicitors and have been told they wont do anything about it as i would have still needed to have the op. So basicly. Noone will do anything till this doctor has patients die. This doctor should be struck of the medical register. PLEASE DONT USE THIS DOCTORS.

I've raised a second complaint with this medical practice and I was told by reception I would get a call last week. I am still waiting. 5 years ago I would have given 5 stars. A very poor practice. It's a money making practice.

Rang up to make an appointment to review the medication I am on due to the doctor NOT updating my records when he spoke to me about 4-6 weeks back when he told me to change my dosage. The doctors do not currently do face to face appointments and because of this said they could not give me a time as to when the doctor would call. I missed the call due to being indisposed and when I called back to inform them I was to they couldn’t do ought and to make another appointment. WHAT IS THE POINT of doing that when you can’t give an appointment time. This doctors surgery has really gone downhill and am currently unsatisfied with the service they offer. The reception team are not very helpful either. Really disappointed that I have to go out my way to organise another appointment because the doctor couldn’t do a simple task and update my records when last we spoke putting me in this situation. 21.08.20. Thank you for the reply you posted, however, would it please be possible to have an honest answer and not one that is a standard reply as you no longer use Docly, your message before you go through to theothe states this very clearly, and you can't book appointments via the online forms either. I know there is a virus on but that is no excuse. Would it not have been simple to just give times as to when the doctor will call as you would a face to face appointment instead of a time frame of a few hours as people are not tied to their mobile phones. Just because people can't visit a surgery doesn't mean it should stop offering the service it used to just in a slightly different way. Just something to think about.

If I could rate this place 0 I would. Twice I have ended up in hopsital because of the doctors and nurses here over things that would have been completely preventable if they had taken one moment to think about what advice they were giving me. Don't go here.

Went for a smear test.. No sheet to cover my modesty and someone walked in claiming we were 'in their room' half way through. No apology from the nurse. Nobody cares. And the guy on reception is just rude and ineffective .. Run it down and privatise, the Tory way.

THE DOCTORS SURGERY THAT WON'T LET YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT! Can I give 0 stars? You have to call 4 or 5 times to actually book an appointment because there is "no availability". They insist you call them at 8.30am each morning as that's when the appointments "get released", but that means being on hold for 20 mins (because everyone is calling at the same time to get the appointments) when you should be starting your work day. I have even told them the appointment is non-urgent and I'm happy to wait 2-3 weeks, but of course there's a reason why they can't even do that either... anything to ensure your time is entirely wasted and you leave without an appointment. I can absolutely empathise with all the other bad reviews on here, very poor surgery.

Very poor experience, treated like a number and felt a script was followed when called back. Self medicate going forward.

Dreadful service. I checked online for a doctor appointment, nothing for over a week - so much for appointments going online from 6.30am.. I phoned for an appointment at 8.30, listened to almost 2 minutes of rubbish about Docly which i’d already found was no good for my need, was then informed “our lines are very busy, call back later” & then cut off. How are you supposed to get a telephone consultation let alone an appointment with a doc or nurse when they don’t even take calls. I had to physically visit the Hathern surgery to make an appointment. When I actually did get to see a doctor, he made it clear his time was limited. I need a blood test but there is none available at either Surgery - all are reserved for cancer & emergency patients. I’ve never found Dishley Grange so unhelpful & impersonal. Woefully inadequate.

I initially moved from another surgery to Dishley Grange Medical around 4 years ago; upon recommendation. They were extremely prompt on dealing with my ailments when I was going through a very rough patch. Dr Saund is outstanding and it is a crying shame there is no way of multiple carbon copying him. Since the practice has become partner with Willows Health Care, Dishley Grange has become a worse place for it. No sooner do you call dead on 8.30am ( opening time ) You are generally between 10-15 in the cue. If you dont get in the first 3; you get told to call the next day. Ive had to wait over a week just for a triage appointment, and this is with the combined practices having far more GP’s than a couple of years back. It become that tricky to get an appointment, it was easier to cue at 8.20am and demand an appointment ( which typically worked ). I feel for the NHS system and the pressures GP’s are under, but this once was amazing surgery; has gone down hill from taking a wrongful step joining with the Leicester Willow Health Care group. Appointments are problematic to get, continuity of GP seen is quite bad and all round; I feel sad to say Dishley Grange has gone severely down hill. Even the new website doesnt have any info or options to forward complaints or opinions.

Next to impossible to get an appointment sorted over the phone, it'll take you daily attempts to ring up at 8:30 to get passed the "we're too busy call us another day" automated reply. If you're lucky enough to get an answer you won't be seen by a GP for a minimum of 2-3 weeks. Once you're in, the place seems more like a social gathering for the elderly than an actual GP centre. Looks like they book entire days together collectively so they can all catch up on the latest gossip and soak up useful medical time because they felt a bit lonely one Monday morning. I'm almost certain all the GPs are told to diagnose you with the most common and basic things so they can write you off and out as fast as possible. They'll occasionally set you up for a blood test, with yet another 2-3 weeks waiting list. Then once you've got your results from your original problem you had 2 months ago, they'll say they can't really find anything. I've been registered here for about 8 years. I've probably made an appearance there maybe 5 or 6 times with bad illnesses because I try to only go when I truly have something wrong, yet the service there treats you like you're bigging up the common cold. Today was the final straw, where I had been booked for a blood test and to hand over samples to a nurse. I arrive and I'm greeted by another GP asking what he can do for me today? I assure him I'm there for a blood test and to hand in samples. Turns out there was a mistake by the "new" receptionists and I was recommended to go back and book in again. So another 2 weeks wait. So 2 weeks waiting for the original GP, another 2 for the blood test, and now an additional 2 because of a mistake. 6 weeks... To top it all off, the GP wouldn't accept my sample. I had to hand over a clear tube of a stool sample over to the receptionist in front of all the other waiting patients. Come on... I respect doctors, GPs and nurses for what they do for people. But this place is ran so poorly. I rarely feel cared for here. The waiting times are a danger to people's health. And the common mistakes they make are very very ignorant. I've never felt satisfied here and I always come away angry at this place for the mistreatment.

Absolute joke of a surgery, I have had to call this place 3 times this year. All 3 times I have never been able to actually see a GP and you get fobbed off with an APN. This APN prescribed something to me that was complete wrong and caused horrible reactions and when I went to a surgery who actually knew what they were doing I was told "Why on Earth would they prescribe this". My most recent interaction is quite possibly the biggest farce possible. I called 3 times at midday to be on a 10 person call wait, the third time I have to wait due to the fact that my Holiday on the 16th November may require vaccinations (this was on the 23rd September). When I finally get through I am told I need to come into the surgery and fill out a form.... Great more time wasted. Once I get there the surgery is absolutely dead and the staff are all having a good jolly rather than actually looking busy. I fill the form in and I am told that I will have to call back in a week to see if I require any jabs. This is where the fun starts, I call today and get transferred to what I believe is their Hathern equivalent. The woman asks for my details and goes bare with me I'll see if I can find out for you. I am hold for 5 minutes at this point with no real news and then I get put through to the Loughborough department who say "how can I help". I explain my situation ONCE again and then I am told "Sorry we have no appointments before your holiday, you can come collect your paper and go to boots to see if they can do it for you" I am done with this place, it is poorly managed and ran by staff that just don't care it is an absolute farce and ever since Dr Saund left it has quite obviously degraded into an utter pile of **** Register for this surgery at your own peril, there are better alternatives out there and it is definitely worth the drive!!!! It's a shame you can't vote 0 stars as giving this place 1 star feels like I am being generous.

Shocking service, 40 minutes on hold from 8.30am to be told yet again - No appointments. I have come to the conclusion that being registered at this practice is pointless and a waste of the NHS Urgent Care service.

3 weeks trying to see a GP, still being fobbed off with nurses every time I ring at 8.30. Beginning to wonder if there are any GP's actually employed here.

Update: 09042018 Very poor service! I'm here today with my wife and the hospital has sent her to have a blood test. But this doctor knows best and has given us Antibiotics Update: 19032018 Still very very poor service. I booked an appointment before the weekend. For today at 16:15 the time is now 16:45 there is no one else in the waiting room, yet the doctor still can't seem to see me on time! Update: 07022018 Well this place has now gone to a new low! Its bad enough that you now have to wait over 45mins. But also it would seem that eating your fish n chips in the doctors is the new thing! June 2017 It doesn't seem to matter what time you have an appointment. You'll always be seen late. (at least 30mins late)
