Me and my SO signed on as new patients, reception staff were efficient, kind and professional. They answered our questions and the experience was basically ideal. I do not agree with the negative reviews at all.

This place is absolutely diabolical! The way they speak to patients is absolutely disgusting and I would urge anyone to completely avoid this place like it's the plague! They deliberately leave patients without enough medication. Short blonde receptionist thinks its acceptable to clap her hand at a patients and demand the patient to leave the surgery in an extremely disrespectful way for not wearing a mask even with proof of exemption! They're a bunch of bullies they like to play god with peoples lives. If I could put minus stars there still wouldnt be enough! They accuse people of lying and are extremely disrespectful! Never in my life have I ever seen such a disgusting display of care and I am honestly furious and seriously going to seek legal advice! This place needs to be shut down!

Pretty much have to agree that I've been nothing but disappointed with this surgery. Went down twice at the end of last year. Both times neither the receptionists nor doctors wanted to stay on the phone for more than 30 seconds. Hardly giving me time to explain why I'm ringing. Waited over 2 hours to get seen (why have appointments if they can be 2 hours late). Got blamed myself, for them letting someone else get seen to under my name. Had to complain twice to staff to get him kicked out and be seen to. Once finally seen too, both times were told it's nothing and "just stress" but I'm now 9 months later with the same increasing symptoms so it's time to go elsewhere. I haven't the time to waste with this Surgery sitting for hours to be told it's in my head, and the whole time with fairly poor attitude. Really disappointing.

Absolutely terrible surgery - they are at their most efficient when covering up their own misdeeds and negligent and harmful treatment - they seem bereft of any idea of the oath they took as doctors and the business manager not only condones this but is party to it - ! Information is falsified and then your right to view it totally restricted - nothing to hide then nothing to fear eh ? - heed my warning steer clear and protect your health !!! Have proof waiting to go to the GMC

Careful here. Really very terrible. Became so scared to call let alone attend surgery, and then removed for this accurate comment/review. Unjustifiable reasons for not accessing PRESCRIBED meds such as "high street value" / "they're addictive" - I am a chronic pain patient with diagnosed conditions (about 20 tablets daily) and am repeatedly left in agony. Crisis team/Hospitals even prescribed tablets when GP refused to fulfil prescription. I have suggested as a practice they familiarise themselves with Pseudo-addiction. Should have suggested closing permanently. :) Non-medically trained reception staff now decide whether your problem is worthy of an emergency appointment; and have said on multiple occasion that mental health/needing crisis intervention is not an emergency (!) Complaints about medical treatment (or lack of) are to be directed to business manager, also not Medically Trained. Find planning difficult without a carer, though wished to leave surgery after Receptionist REFUSED to make me an appointment when I needed crisis intervention following months of INCORRECT PRESCRIPTION. I said it was “a joke” (though incredibly unfunny) to leave me sui***al , due to pain. She outrageously THANKED ME (!?) AND THEN I WAS TOLD OFF BY MY GP FOR !! ABUSING !! RECEPTION STAFF (!!) AFTER SHE ACCUSED ME OF SCREAMING AND SWEARING AT HER! In *business* manager’s response to my complaint, I was told she said I called HER a joke. So unnecessarily manipulative. Apparently (business manager says) both her allegations are valid, as both my remarks are somehow apparently subjective to opinion/interpretation. Refused to listen to call recordings to prove my innocence. Nice. 1000% AVOID! Sorry. Mustn’t scream" or "swear" ... and I've clearly made it to 25 without knowing what these things are. Edit: Park View Surgery removed me from their service following this comment/honest review, although I sent complaint to both themselves and NHS England - and they had acknowledged points and said they would help going forwards. They said this has “factual inaccuracies” (!) Love calling me a liar! (AN ACCURATE/FAIR INTERPRETATION.) Would it not be considered libellous/slander to write an online review with such falsities? I’d sign a declaration in court if need be :) *Slams slow-closing door*

Possibly the worst doctors surgery ever...cant never get an appointment.3 mins of prerecorded message before you even get your call to phone reception.then to be told there’s no available appointments.if all doctors surgeries run like this then I can see why the nhs is free.nobody would ever pay for this sloppy service.easier to get my dog to see a vet.perhaps I should go there instead.

Was going to sign up as a new patient but after the experience of receptionists both on phone and in person i quickly came to the conclusion this is not professional and the service at Macdonald's is levels above this that is a privileged profession. Dont settle for poor experiences with your health. Avoid.

Very rude receptionists and not very helpful at all. Appointments are always fully booked and cannot fit you in even if it’s an emergency. Completely inflexible and don’t put the patients at the centre of their care. Covid regulations mean that you need to wear a mask to appointments but receptionists neglect to inform you of this prior to appointment. If you’re thinking of registering with this practice, don’t bother.

The worst surgery in Loughborough Would not recommend to anyone Appointment system is a total waist of time. The doctors are always behind if we call exactly 8.30 they always full. Not many patient coming thinking to leave soon..

Sad to see 'bad reviews' For our family we have found them brilliant! They are extremely good at what they do. As for reception, if you bother to try to understand how they work and the pressure they are under and they can't produce miracles then maybe you'd have a bit more sympathy. The doctors are 100% dedicated! of high quality, open and honest and there's a good mixture of them!

Receptionist team and doctors have all been extremely helpful and professional on the many occasions we have used this practice. They have made a real difference - well done.

The worst surgery in Loughborough Would not recommend to anyone Appointment system is a total waist of time Doctors are really good. But just the appointment system and reception staff seem to always say the same old phrase can I ask what's wrong with you. Otherwise doctors are brilliant.

Have never seen worse reception staff and surgery manager. Two blonde girls. Problems with heart are not a good reason to get appointment having been referred from urgent care centre to get blood tested asap. Call next day. The only answer they have. And then next day repeat again. Call next day. Not looking out for patient interests and racist.

There’s not a single time when booking or visiting the Surgery that I could fault. I have recently had to visit Dr Mahoney and Dr Neuberg and both have gone above and beyond their duties. I can’t thank them enough. The receptionists are lovely and also the Surgery Manager and Jenny the secretary always goes the extra mile. Thanks for all your compassion and it won’t be forgotten.

Very rude reception staff indeed. Over the phone and face to face - would always be eager to turn you away and say bye bye... Doctor messed up my results a couple of times and suggested I increase my dose but in fact it would be the other way around! Very unprofessional and put patients in danger. Certain GPs here certainly are not worth the money they are paid.

Called up for appointment, waited for a long period of time to speak to a receptionist, tried to make an appointment, they hung up on me within seconds. Don't what caused this, there might have been some problems on their end. Not a great thing to happen when you're so sick you need to get checked out. Rest of surgery and the healthcare might be great, but I don't know.

They messed up my dad's medication and review dates, and then essentially blamed him for not knowing when his review was, when they hadn't informed him at all. Their only response is, "we sent you a letter..." - categorically received no letter. He was told directly by another member of staff that someone had made a mistake somewhere, and yet the surgery staff (not nurses or doctors who have been extremely helpful) did very little to help the situation. And when you dare to tell them they are at fault, the reception team is awful.

The actual medical service is amazing but it would be great if you could actually get through to them when you call for an appointment. I've been calling for 25 mins and it has said "caller busy" every single time.

rude surgery manager, comes into the waiting area and shouts at you for not moving your child to another practice, shouts out your confidential details in a full waiting room, and says your child will not be seen again. also dont ring before 8.30 their shut and either slam down the phone or rudely tell you we are not open yet! glad i left!

Miserable cows at the receptionist, must be the minimum wage. They all need to smile and learn how to be friendly rather than think theyre 'doctors'. Youre all just receptionist behind a counter, nothing special. If you all concentrated on being a receptionist then maybe the job will be done better and not make silly mistakes then passing the blame onto the patient rather than taking responsibility for your inefficiency and poor customer service.

rude receptionists you phone up at opening times first thing and they were rude saying a repeat prescription is not important phone back later im sorry but your receptionists should understand mental health is important and medication must not be delayed for those people in need of it totally disgusting

Some people don't all ways understand that the doctors work very long hours and in most surgery you do get the odd problems if they occur they do let you know and people need to be more understanding their job isn't made easy if any body gives out attitude then you may end up with out getting treatment I'm bet happy with the doctors at park view they really really do look after you hope we never lose this surgery
