TO THE CEO OF CURRYS: SHUT THIS STORE DOWN AND SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY! My mum visited this store and needed some help with a purchase, all staff actively avoided her to the point of leaving the shop floor! The only member who couldn't run was the one on the cash desk and even she was bothered about doing her job properly. This store has been bad for years but this is an all time low. Time to start making some cutbacks!

The lady on the collection point was lovely and very friendly, but the system there just doesn’t work at all! We received an email at 12:23 the collection is ready to collect and they let us wait until 12:55 to get the product. No one was answering the walkie talkie from the collection point staff and we managed to get our pre-paid product only once we start to look for manager in the floor. If you have time to waste, then go, but we will never come back.

Not enough staff, standing around, looking for staff for over 30 mins. Staff actively avoid eye contact and seem overwhelmed. Not a lot in stock, most things on display were not available. Big appliances that were in stock were only available for collection and not delivery. Overall not impressed and ended up shopping online.

I've a couple of times to this shop, I bought my laptop cover here. It's a nice shop, I love seen the big TVs here. The queue was quick, staff was nice.

Had the most amazing experience, went to buy lots of different things and was welcomed by Phil, such a nice gentleman and he was very patient as it was so hard to choose what I needed. Also thank you to security and the manager for there help also. I will definitely be coming back and definitely will recommend. Kim

I bought a laptop online that arrived broken. When I called Curry’s support they were rude and gave me the wrong advice. Luckily I tried the online chat and that person told me I could exchange at the Brixton store. The staff were quick, knowledgeable and extra helpful. They weren’t able to give me an exchange as they didn’t have stock but they did talk me through a way to get my item delivered to me the next day. I went from hating Currys to being a satisfied customer. This is all in the context of them coping with maskless idiots harassing them because the store was not open as usual due to the pandemic.

The delivery guys refused to take the fridge up the stairs, I went to the store to let them know that the guys left the fridge downstairs. The manager was rude, as he told me to go to customer service, while walking away, he didn't even stand to speak with me properly. I was told me it's an American fridge, and once it's over a certain weight, they don't take it upstairs. What nonsense is that???

Due to measures to protect customers due to pandemic, customers held outside the store in the rain - with no shelter. Nowhere to sit inside and look pcs etc (13 customers and 5 staff). Having identified pc required was told only white in stock. When asked if PCW would download "bundle" reply was "I can't guarantee this tomorrow as I may get important job to do..." Clearly I was not important so left without buying anything.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service at the carphone warehouse desk. Picked up my phone quickly with no problems & Farhad answered all the questions I had. Appreciate the extra info on insurance offered though I didn't buy. No hard sell which is appreciated :) the Curry's/ pc world stuff looked well stocked and good offers on. Also good social distancing precautions in place.

It's really hard to find accessories (cables etc) as they seem to be randomly scattered all over the place and most times the staff don't know where they are either (or what a 3.5mm jack cable is). Since the death of Maplins unfortunately Currys is the only actual physical shop where such things are available. Once I'd found the thing I was looking for I queued up to pay for round about 10 mins only to be informed that (despite notices to pay with a card or contactless wherever possible) only cash payments were possible. So I exited minus the thing I wanted. I've had better experiences in store but this was a bit rubbish; staff seemed especially disinterested on this occasion.

Brixton site:- collection by car, order link wouldn't lock reference number to log I had arrived, that was soon resolved by member of staff. In q shows number of punters in front prior to delivery of your item to the boot of your vehicle which you have open awaiting delivery.

Waited 15 mins to be helped. Lots of customers waiting. Staff member chilling on their phone with headphones in. Not a care in the world. No had sanitiser, customers and staff not correctly wearing masks.

Currys PC World is usually my first stop whenever am looking for anything electronic, they normally have what you are looking for and you can try it out. But sometimes the local shop is not well equipped to deal with your needs. The bigger shops is more accommodating. On this occasion I didn't find what I wanted.
