Love the fact you can still go and see what your buying... but seriously need to improve their in-store experience. Guy who served me was great at customer service desk... but staff on floor seemed to run away from customers. Not enough info about products... maybe some tablets with more product info... or commission for the sales team to maybe want to help customers....

Very poor customer service. Compared with the other Currys PC World Stores, the standards were very low.

Very large store with lots of chance. We found one member of staff, Leo, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose what laptop was best for us. He did not try to oversell, and was very good at telling us what to look for without pressuring us at all. That said, he is the only reason I am not giving one star rating. That said, every other member of staff was ridiculously slow and seemed to have no interest in any of the customers. When asked a question they all claimed they were either busy with something else (then seemed to aimlessly wander the store or chat with colleagues) or just stated that they were on break and didn't even try to help or point towards another staff member. Also, as the laptop we wanted was out of stock it took about an hour to check their stock room and then go through the online ordering process, this went on so long that we ended up staying in the car park beyond the 1hr30 limit and being sent a parking ticket (which we are appealing.

ReallyNot good. We wanted a particular laptop model, Old Kent road staff said they had stock, then found they had none. So they checked on the system and advised there were seven at Brixton, but there were NONE. Wasted journey....

For all customers considering getting Team Know How cover - don’t get it, it’s useless. They make it impossible to use it, passing you from one customer advisor to another before you are so desperate that you chose to hang up after waiting one hour for someone to know what they are doing or have the courtesy to help.

You saw something in internet and you don't want to wait? Go there and get it yourself in same price! That simple!!!!

Great choice of home appliances. The PC world area is rather pedestrian and choices are limited. Cannot see why Carphone Warehouse is here.

I found the staff here so helpful. Hard to find someone to help you because the store is so big, but they are very helpful once you find someone. Excellent range of products. I could spend the day walking around this store looking and trying out the products. This definitely beats shopping online - and it is no more expensive than online either, and you can bring your purchase back for support if you need it, as I did with my laptop. If I had bought it online where would I have taken it for help?

What a disappointing store (both in-store and online) it's used to have such a good reputation, now staff can't be bothered to help and when pressured into helping they don't know anything about the products or the policies. They sell goods that don't fit the description then try to direct you to telephone customer services who tell you to go to the store, who tell you to call. Their system removed some parts of my delivery details so my address read as a different address, and they said they were unable to change this. They do not honour the delivery timetables, goodness knows when I'll take receipt of the washing machine- that they've already taken the money for. This store is good for viewing items before purchasing from somewhere else. Disgusting company, going forward I think I'll be ordering from AO.

I went here today to purchase a microwave oven. I could not find a Customer sales assistant.available, they were all chatting to each other. I found the microwave ovens and I had to choose one myself, and when I got to the payment desk the Women was so miserable looking and she hardly said anything to me, not even 'Thank You' or even 'Happy New Year' Maybe Santa did'nt pay Her a visit to give her any Pink Knickers.

It is always sad to see a complete lack of customer service training in front-end staff, and an aloof attitude in said staff to match. Strong recommendation to avoid this location. Spend your hard-earned dollars somewhere else - you’ll avoid that dirty, used feeling!

Perfect example of why the high street is in decline. Grubby store that appeared over staffed yet it was difficult to get anyone’s attention because they were too busy talking amongst themselves. The range is incredibly limited which makes you wonder how they can justify occupying such a big space. One customer tried a stereo at full blast and staff refused to ask him to turn it down. My money is on a imminent extinction event for Curry’s/PC World.

Always buy our goods here, but always have to search for a member of staff. Most of the time they are happy with a good understanding of the product.

The worst Currys PC world in London poor service, staff that don't care, always fobbing you off to someone else and in the end they don't have the stock! What a waste of retail space!

What is the purpose of this store?!! They hardly have anything in store. Finding staff is almost the same as looking for lost treasure. Shelves with gaps, where there should be items to buy. Really???!!! Nice car park, though.

There is always a queue and returned items are scrutinised and the customers interrogated. Staff are advised to refund under exceptional circumstances.

Customer services can be poor at this Curry PC World location. More need doing to ensure that customers are not ignored whilst waiting on a queue. Very brief apology for the delay and that they will be with the next customer in a moment will be sufficient. Apart from this, it is easy to access to get a quick replacement of electronic and household appliances.

When I was at this Curry's shop there was only two members of staff available with no manger on site. The staff were overrun with requests from their customers, and had no time to interact with anyone. When one managed to grab their attention they were rude, extremely so.

Massive store. You'll most likely find what your looking for. There's so much to choose from and if you can't see it then there's always the online website. If need be the staff can help you locate a store that has the product your looking for. Staff are helpful and give options to decide from. Also, very patient as it's not easy spending hundred or thousands of pounds. Overall, a good experience and would recommend. Big thanks to Hassan for the help.

I asked for advice as I hadn't bought a new cooker in 30 years! The whole of kitchen is being redone & I wanted a fitted, separate, hob & oven. He asked me some logical questions about how much cooking I did & what parts I used most & found me a Zanussi hob & Zanussi oven. They were very reasonably priced & when my sister checked on Which, they agreed. Well done Curry's! They could've tried to sell me any old rubbish, or something really overpriced, as I knew nothing about cooking equipment!

Very helpful staff. I used to work at a Currys and was always pushed to aggressively up-sell and push extra warranties which always frustrated customers, but staff here seemed far more keen on just helping you find the right product for you. Easy to get to with a bus stop right outside, handy as we had to lug a big telly home with us!

It has stuff, you can buy. It might not be the stuff you want, and what help you get is largely a matter of luck. For computer supplies, components, peripherals and consumables, the shelves seem very sparsely stocked on some occasions, and what the do have often seems to have been previously opened and returned - be vigilant. If they've got it and you need it quickly and the price is okay then go ahead and buy. But you will almost invariably be able to find a better range of choices at lower cost online, which is a shame. With Maplin gone there are precious few places left for electronics and computer enthusiasts, and Currys PC World is far from a cornucopia.
