Lovely, clean store, able to buy parts, accessories for most cars. Wide variety of stock to choose from. Staff very polite and helpful, whenever I've visited the store have always received excellent service. Can have wiper blades, bulbs fitted by the staff in no time. The store follows Covid guidelines, would definitely recommend.

Sam the store manager was really helpful. She had called to reach out to me and sort two of my bikes for a bronze service on the spot. When I went into store Sam and her colleague Max were there to help. They took in both my bikes and managed to get them looked at and serviced the same day. The bike mechanic Elliot came out to give me a run down as to what works were carried out. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Picked up my daughter’s new bike here today. Really impressed by how friendly all the guys in the bike area and on the door were. They were really helpful with adding accessories to the bike, carried bike down the stairs without asking and reminded me to take my lock that I forgot. They also understood my weird gift card system. Cheers guys for being so nice.

Before covid it was a good store, making people wait for 40mins in ONE queue is not right. Have a system have one line for click and collect and one for sales. Just wasting peoples time. Have someone outside putting people in the correct queue :s

I would like to thank Manager Sam Buss for the excellent customer service and her wonderful mannerism in which she help resolve my complaint. I initially was determined to get my refund and never shop at Halfords again because of the customer service I had received from a junior a member of staff. However, after Sam Buss became involved I am happy to say, my issue was speedingly resolved and I will always be a loyal Halfords customer. Thank you very much Sam Buss!!!

My husband and I visited this store for the first time. They really took their time with a customer, ahead of us, who had learning disabilities. They handled him with such care, as well as assuring other customers in the queue. As we are both novices, with regards to bikes, we came prepared with bike specs from a good friend, who has been riding bikes for years. Our query was dealt with efficiently and in a time manner. We will definately be revisiting in the future.

I purchased an Eco 200mm suspension commuter scooter today. It was in a box with a security tag so I didn't think to open and check the content. When I got home I was quite disappointed that the item actually looked second hand with wear on the back brakes and handles. Given that it was in a box with as tag preventing you from opening the box, I expected it to be brand new. Seems like they just put the display item in a box. I will try to exchange it tomorrow. I hope they will be helpful and all of this back and forth won't be a complete waste of time as I am really excited about the item and would be happy to get what I pay for. Update: I am giving 5 stars as they were very helpful and refunded me without any trouble and I really appreciate that given that I had to drive back to their store it was great customer service.

Not very good at all.. bought a bike in for repair. Was told during assessment that there will be no charge. Had the bike repaired. When i came in to pick it up i was told there was a bill be it a small one. Wasn't prepared to pay it. Did ask if the repair can be reversed but was told the bike wont be how it was when brought in. I find this store staff members always seem to have a chip on their shoulder when you speak them to the point you hesitate to ask anything. I have gone into the mile end/Whitechapel branch so many times but the guys there are so knowledgeable and helpful. the difference couldn't be greater. Wont be buying from that store again..

Absolute poor customer service and the colleagues do not have a clue about anything and are very disrespectful. I came to the store to get my dash cam fitted as I had a booking. They turned around and said the booking is not on their system despite showing them the confirmation and the timing of booking. They did not seem to care and just to find out at the end they cancelled my booking hence it didn’t appear on their system. They did not fit me in. I travelled more than an hour to get to the store. Waste of time and unprofessional rude staff. I am awaiting for my refund and I will not be going back. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Picked up a bike here for cycle to work scheme on click and collect. Although there was a bit of a queue and the bike I had ordered was boxed rather than built the staff could not have been more accommodating. They arranged for the bike to be built while I waited and apologised for the delay and did all they could to sort out there and then. The bike was built with due care and the staff were very helpful in setting it up correctly and showing me all the features, with some tips for after care and general usage too. They were very knowledgable, enthusiastic and friendly. Shout out to the 3 who helped - Irish, Rob and a lady who’s name I didn’t get (sorry!)!

I was blown away by the service I received at Halfords by Scott. My local bike shop said to fix my bike would cost a small fortune while Scott got the parts ordered that I needed and fixed my bike for a fraction of the cost. Scott went the extra mile which I appreciated so much. I am converted to Halfords and will now be regular port of call for all things bike, car, camping etc....

Great customer service, relatively big store with plenty of choice, store kept nice and clean. With covid guidance across the store. This isn't technically their fault, but getting in and out of this retail park can sometimes be a nightmare as it gets really busy and you often have to queue to get out as its next to a busy junction where not many cars let you out

I bought a Carrera vengeance mountain bike, (mens L) 6 months ago, on my 10th ride the bottom cable bracket snapped under tension, the gear cable frayed and couldn't change gear. I took it to my local Halfords for a 'free health check' they advised I needed a Silver service £50, new cassette, chain, gear cable and bracket, a total of £85 for a bike ridden for approx 30 hours... and said its really common for this to be done... after 30 hours??? either Carrera are making really cheap bikes not fit for purpose or halfords are making money off replacing parts off cheap (£350) bike they sell... either way I'm taking it to a local bike shop to get fixed and will most likely sell it on asap and by something a bit more robust from a local bike shop.. lesson learned

Awful customer service from bike store manager 'Sam'. Took back my sons virtually brand new Apollo Gridlok bike as the gears were faulty and was told because I had put it together, rather than having it built in-store, that was why they were faulty, and they would only fix the problem if I took out one of their care plans. Even though building it yourself is just a case of fitting the seat, pedals and handlebars, and doesn't involve any assembly of the gears. The manager was obviously very busy as they couldn't even be bothered to come out and speak to me and instead passed messages through the sales assistant 'Irish', who was at least doing his best to help. So eventually I gave in and was forced to pay an extra £35 on top of the cost of the bike to get it in a working condition. This will be the last time I use Halfords for anything. Do yourself a favour and use Evans or similar, where for just a few extra quid you will at least get a bike that works and customer service to at least a basic standard. (Would have given zero stars if possible, but you have to put in at least one for it to register).
