I wanted to fix a noise issue, which I strongly believe could be eliminated using the right tools and some intuition. I was advised to book a health check first, I turned up the first time, the employee tells me I should book an "assessment" online, I go back home and book this, turns out it's only another health check, I turned up the second time, the employee tells me to book an appointment which I did on the spot, I turned up the third time and pre-paid 20 pounds for it as requested. I turned up the fourth time to pick it up. nothing was solved, the best Halfords could do was put a black tape around one of my cables, a tape! I paid 20 pounds for a small piece of tape! something I had previously thought of and could do it myself. It did nothing to stop the noise. The person working on my bike told me this issue can't be fixed and gave me an unreasonable excuse, at the store I showed the staff why he was wrong with two fingers, and therefore his excuse is merely a way to cover up their lack of knowledge. As soon as I left Halfords, I went to my local bike shop and got the issue fixed in under 4 hours, for 12.5 pounds! they had the right tools, and a proper understanding of the problem. My advise is, if you want to buy or service for cheap, consider Halfords, but if you want to repair or fix, think twice!

I needed 2 bikes for my twins' Birthday. The Manager was really helpful who managed to sort out a second bike for me to collect from another store. He contacted the Enfield store Manager to get the bike assembled before he phoned me to come to Tottenham store. Unlike the customer service on the phone, Brett and his Manager were very helpful/professional.

Recently picked up my new bike, the team were helpful & knowledgeable & my bike is great. It’s a crazy world for retail workers (I know, I’m one), so it’s good to see the staff take it seriously in ensuring everyone’s safety, distancing, masks etc. Recently had its 6week checkup! Shannon & the crew were great, despite being very busy, had the time to be polite & professional & fully checked out the (minor) issues I had with the bike. Thanks for being open & working hard!! ps: love my bike!!!

Wait time was terrible - My dad took my bicycle in for its health check and dropped it off. 30 min later (this is how long they said it would take) my dad sees the bike in the exact same spot he dropped it off and nobody had even touched it! 2 hours later and it was all done. I am however happy with the report that came back. Hopefully the silver service will go much smoother.

I recently purchased my first bike second hand and as I went on my first cycle, my seat dropped as I was cycling so I popped into Halfords in Tottenham Hale retail park and as the man outside the store tried to tighten my seat the bolt broke, so he sent me to the bike repair shop upstairs, I had to wait a while in the queue but I was eventually served by a man named Mark. Mark changed the bolt for me free of cost and then had a look over my bike to check if everything was running ok, he suggested some new tires which I will definitely go back to get. Very good customer service, considering I don't usually leave reviews, I felt compelled to here as it gave me confidence to know about bikes more. Thank you very much Mark! I recommend this shop for biking newbies! Cheers Halfords!

Not enough staff and a huge queue for the bike department. The salesperson was helpful but I felt rushed because of the pressure of numbers. I would have liked to get a bike rack fitted but decided to try another bike shop at a later date.

I visited Halfords Tottenham on 07/04/21 around 12:30-13:30. I received service from staff at the till, one female and one male staff. Sorry I don’t know their name. They both are extremely helpful, polite, knowledgeable and have the right attitude for the jobs.Thank you both of you. If, next time, I want to buy something, I will think of Halfords before other shops. Very impress with the service

Fantastic service received from Jourdon and Robert during a wet and cold late weather evening. At the very end of a long day, the last hour, you fitted my car battery, windscreen wiper and change of oil during all in the last trading hour. The staff in this store are so professional and really know good customer service. They have product knowledge and are respectful. I came into the store to get a replacement bulb for my reversing light, and to get it fitted by one of the staff. I was courteous and patient while waiting my turn to be seen by the technician who was going to fit the bulb for me. When in store I observed the rude and disrespectful customers who treated the staff at Halfords as something they had stepped in on the street. Manager on duty was tested to the limit with these rude people. I admired how her, and her colleague were put under pressure by these rude people and didn't lose control in situations. My technician who fitted the bulb was polite and professional. I actually held my umbrella over him as it was raining really hard in the car park when he was working to fit my replacement bulb. All staff, especially Duty Manager require gold stars for putting up with the horrible customers I saw on the day of my visit.

The store manager tried to bargain with me after the item was tested faulty...Why?...I had a receipt and the item was within the warranty period,I think it’s to do with the fact he believed I was dishonest or trying to cheat Halfords store. Thankfully I returned the following day and I received PROPER service from a female staff member,she was professional and listened to my concerns. Halfords in Tottenham Hale was bad but not as bad as the service I had received earlier from Chingford branch that claimed that any faulty item needed to be returned to the branch of purchase....& even after I said Halfords online states as long as item has receipt ANY store will accept return. Chingford staff member still claimed “No,you need to return items to the original purchase store” Unbelievable!

Staff on bike department were extremely helpful. I had my electric bike collected last week and the staff spent a lengthy period of time explaining to me how to unlock the battery. They showed us how to take a good care of the battery and recharged the battery for me.

The store manager himself polices the door like a member of the SS guard. Enquired about an appointment. He was immediately belligerent and refused to explain why customers must still queue in spite of having been given a specific appointment time. Haven't been treated this horribly in a store in my entire life. Awful attitude. Having to go back a SIXTH time for a faulty item. Awful. Just awful. Unfortunately they are the only UK retailer for this item, else I'd never have used Halfords after the other five issues. After this bad treatment from the store manager himself I'd happily spend my money with competitors and never look back.

Booked online to get wheel hub serviced. But after a mandatory "free bike check" service I was told my bike was working perfectly. After getting bike back I had to physically show staff that the wheel was wobbling and it made a grinding sound. Only then I was booked again for another hub service. I couldn't wait that long so took it to get fixed at a local bike shop. More expensive but their expertise was worth it. I now get the impression that Halfords are only good for fixing general (and very obvious) problems!

The staff at the Bike repair and retail section are very helpful.and knowledgable. I bou ght my bike here and have used the shop for repairs since. Recently I ordered a new bike for my daughter here and they were very helpful. The only difficulty with this store is that the bike repair is up a flight of stairs and it can be awkward to carry a bike upstairs.

Update: came back today and spoke to another guy in bike section beginning with c Forgoten the name but sooo helpful thought my 1st was one off but obviously not the bike staff are so helpful. I have been looking for a kick stand. I went to halford today, bought a kickstand on the representative's recommendation. and it didn't fit (3 hours lost) turned back again(2 hour lost) and wanted to return. they did not accept. It had a package that was torn and opened. non-reusable ones. The manager of the store did not accept. He also says shamelessly how I will sell it. It is scandalous that he thinks about selling it with the torn package I bought from garbage. They produce bicycles, there is no kickstand suitable for mine(Carrera Kraken) They stall my money and my time. Never again!

I returned my child new bike three times in two days and only after the third problem with the wheel I got my refund, to add as all customers service over the phone was appalling, even I was told to not buy any more from Halford. My man bike is two inches bigger than I ordered. Only one out of three bikes purchased is good. I was very polite all the time I had to speak with Halford team over the phone, but they are rude. I paid for this visits over €60.00 as I live in E15. I am working with customers every day but never I dared to be unprofessional. Next time I will buy from a different company.

I'm really disappointed with this company I order a voodoo Marasa Hybrid Bike in the first week of April 02.04.2021. For collection on 12th April. I get a phone call saying the bike hasn't been delivered due to a system error! And the next available date is the 16th or 17th April for collection which wasn't good for me as I work shifts as a keyworker. So now because my best day that I can do is now the 19th April. I asked for collection for the 12th for a reason so it gave halfords enough time to have it ready for me but failed. Maybe I should say when I dont pay the bill that I had a system error??
