The staff were very friendly & helpful. A very big store with plenty of items to whatever your needing. I had been browsing all local halfords for a bike for my girls birthday & this store came up trumps with it in stock. Made my girls birthday extra special.

I was told chingford have no stock of an item,then was directed to the Tottenham store who then sent me back to chingford because they didn't have stock but their system showed chingford had stock (I had also contacted their call centre that confirmed this), I had the rude and unnecessary experience of "Demi" talking to me and my wife as if we were idiots. Very disappointing

Ridiculously slow service. Long queues of people waiting to pay whilst staff spend 15mins talking to a customer about bike health check. Why don’t they serve those waiting to pay or collect orders first? Increases Coronavirus transmission risk.

They were poorly prepared for my appointment even though they had postponed my appointment once at short notice. The onus was on me to confirm what I had ordered as they hadn’t a clue. I wouldn’t recommend their service.

Took my bike in for a pre booked assessment, the mechanic arrived 20 mins late to the scheduled appointment.After checking my bike he recommended a silver service so that is what i ordered. I was then given a date for the repairs to be carried out, this date was a WHOLE MONTH later!!! The following month when collecting my bike after it being repaired, upon closer inspection the exact same faults and issues where present (gears not changing). I complained immediately as i waited over a month and still nothing had been done to my bike. Halfords was trying to charge me for not doing anything at all to my bike. The person at the counter took my bike back to the mechanic. Over an hour later the bike returned with the gears now working. I instructed for a silver service (£50) and all i got was a gear fix (£10) and finally when i got to the till Halfords tried to scam me and said i needed to pay £64. After a long back and forth they finally agreed to let me pay the original amount. Appaling service, made me wait over a month and several hours in store and still didnt give me what i paid for. Then they had the nerve to over charge me.

Tried to ring the store twice , got put on hold then just left until the system cut me off . Really unhelpful and the line was terrible . So I actually went in the store , the cycle repair guy was really helpful , knowledgeable and offered me a solution to my problem. Halfords sort your phone's out.

I had an Alpine stereo installed here 7 years and thought it was fine. I'm about to sell my car and wanted to reinstall my original head unit and it's become very clear that they have absolutely wrecked the installation. Let me explain: 1. The Alpine stereo was not fixed or mounted, it was literally loose and not held in place. 2. Halfords stole the release keys, screws and all other accessories from the Alpine stereo box, they only gave me back the original bare Sony stereo that they removed. 3. The didn't give me back the fascia from the original Sony stereo. 4. The stole all the screws and accessories from the original Sony Stereo as well. 5. I've got a botched Alpine radio and I can't reinstall the original Sony stereo owing to all the accessories being missing. 6. I paid for the privilege of this messed up installation. Avoid at all costs

It annoys me when I go to a shop with more staff than customers and they make no effort to ask if you need help! However, once I approached a member of staff, he was extremely helpful and polite, which is why I gave 4 stars - might have been 5 if the staff were more proactive!

Christian and Sabarin in the cycle department were efficient and most helpful when i collected my bike they had given it a full PDI and fitted the mudguards FOC and the bike was ready for collection when i arrived at the store. They also explained the maintenance program in great detail.

Kids bearly out if nappies at customer service desk, acting like headless chickens, not knowing what to do and supplying false information (told me there's a problem with my prepaid order that I simply wanted to collect). I am disabled and waited at desk no other customers there or anyone else being served whilst three staff congregated behind desk, no masks and no social distancing, one of them insisted my item/order wasn't there, whilst I insisted I had text saying it was. In end after waiting an unnecessarily long time, they found it and I left, poor hygiene, poor service, no customer acknowledgement, left a bad taste.

I give 5 stars for the staff who are very efficient and knowlegeable 100%. I got a black friday deal so was happy to save a few quid, however I cant give the stars for value for money as I believe a lot of the stock is way overpriced for the same products avilable elsewhere, apart from that all good.

I went to halford chingford for the first time and I met a young man call Darel who delivered the best customer service of all time. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISED FOR REAL.. I HAVE NEVER SPENT MORE THAN I WANT TO BUT YEAH I DID THIS TIME BECAUSE THAT KID ENERGY WAS JUST AMAZING . DAREL DESERVES A PROMOTION HALFORDS COME ON!!

Chingford Halford's is always a lifesaver! Fun to browse, of course. But, their staff are always willing to go above and beyond, whether its just advice or fitting windscreen wipers, car batteries or anything in between - I'd really recommend these guys in Cork Tree Way!

Glad to have a Halfords nearby, very convenient. Staff are always friendly, even if the waiting times are always quite long. I visited the other day, the first time during Lockdown, and was happy to see they had a safe queuing system in place. Social distancing measures were in place in store but the one thing that could've made the experience better was if the Staff were wearing masks and gloves. I had my car checked by someone not wearing a mask or gloves - he touched my car handle, keys, and parts of the interior. To help ensure safety of their staff (dealing with members of the public) but also to help reassure customers that they are being safe and responsible - all staff should be wearing masks and gloves.

No one answers the phone I ordered a bike that was supposed to be built today it is not ready when I called they told me they had not got to it yet. I called for an hour straight for an update with no answer. The store should have the decency to update customers i had to take time off work as I thought I would be picking it up today. Not happy
