I needed a new car radio/CD to replace and old one. I knew a special interface cable was needed to keep functionality of remote buttons on stalk, but too complicated to work out what I needed. I sent a photo of the old wiring and within a few hours very helpful person at Dynamic Sounds told me exacly what I needed and even sent links I just clicked on to add to basket. It couldn't be easier. I am so grateful for super quick expert advice on what looked like a minefield. Would definitely use again and recommend very highly.

I wanted to replace PCM head unit in 2003 Porsche. This was complex as the connections were fibre optic. The support team at Dynamic Sounds were amazing, helping me to select a head unit and all of the accessories needed for the install. Poor customer service and very rude.
I fitted a base box/amp and a aux and within a week it stopped working properly so I called back and was told to bring it in so I did, and when I went back I was told that there is nothing that they can do as the fault is in my stereo, so I went to get a second opinion from a different company and they told me that whoever fitted the aux and amp did a really bad job, so i took it back yet another time to tell them what I’ve been told and they told me to buy another stereo as the one I had was maybe faulty, so I bought a Kenwood head unit like they told me, and when I took it there to ask if they can fit it, they literally just shrugged me off and said no that’s not something we can do as the it’s not similar to the ones they fit. So now I am left with a head unit that they can’t fit for me and also couldn’t fix the problem that they caused with the aux fitting.

After waiting weeks for a booking at Halfords only for them to mess it up completely I had the guys at Dynamic Sounds fit a double din car play unit in my Alfa Romeo Giulietta. These are troublesome cars when it comes to fitting aftermarket units but it was no trouble for these guys. Very friendly and helpful and 100% recommend them for any audio related work you need doing to your vehicle.

Just spoke with Alan on the phone, what an absolute legend! A man of the people with clear concise advise spoken in layman's terms. Helped me get exactly what I needed and no pressure for expensive upgrades. Just straight talking honesty. And I did do my research, their prices are spot on too. Dynamic Sounds are a cut above, in terms of service, advice and assistance, and professionalism. The whole area of 'ice' and car audio is plagued by a lack of professionalism and inconsistent service and experience, and Dynamic Sounds are by far the best I've used across over five installs over the past 10 years or so.

Very good item availability, and really decent prices. Alot cheaper than Halfords. I would recommend this store to anyone wanting to find parts for their audio visual. Staff is very knowledgeable so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it!
Really helpful staff, and a very clean store. Covid screens and mask policy make you feel safe when in store.
Also the store is home to a large collection of diecast vehicles which really adds to the environment. These people really love their cars!

Paid £13 for next day delivery(!), however the driver claimed to have rung the buzzer but didn't. He left without attempting delivery, despite the fact I had waited in specifically and was by the door when he claimed to have been. This, of course, is not Dynamic Sound's fault. However, it is the customer service response that happened subsequently that was really poor. In law, my agreement was with Dynamic Sounds, I contracted with them to provide next day delivery. They in turn, contracted to DPD to provide it. DPD failed to do so and therefore my recourse is to Dynamic Sounds as that is the body with whom I had a legal agreement. Like it or not, this is how the system works. It's why sellers take responsibility for the delivery service they use whether private or in business. However, they at first refused to engage with the conversation at all, then said they would "investigate", and then just decided to ignore me altogether. My last email was some weeks ago despite a number of follow-ups.
It's a real shame because it could have been easily resolved. On the up side, the products seem to be as described and arrived the following week.

I booked a replacement fitting for my dreadful old Ford CD 6000. The old unit got stuck as the pins had been bent at some point. The guys managed to get it out and fit new fascia and stereo. Very pleased with it and good value.

I made 2 trips to Dynamic Sounds. First trip was to get info on installing Android Auto to my 2012 Ford Mondeo, and second one was to get it fitted.
The information provided was precise and to the point, explained to me that not a problem to fit but parking sensors' volume would be reduced as a consequence of having to take out the current Ford unit and replace. Gave me a ball park figure on the first trip of about £610 for head unit, fascia, wiring loom, fitting etc.
I tried 3 different places and Dynamic Sounds gave me the greatest confidence they knew what they were doing, so I booked a fitting of a Pioneer DAB250 with them.
The fitter on the day was Alan. He was also professional and to the point. Incredible job on the fitting (looks like it had always been there), discreet on the DAB aerial and went the extra mile to fit the usb into the 12v socket with an adapter I had supplied. Alan kept me informed of the different fascia choices I had and put in that extra effort with no additional cost. In fact it came in £20 under the estimate!
Highly recommend Dynamic Sounds, and highly recommend Alan!

I really wanted to come on here and give a good review.
I am pretty broke right between covid 19 and buying a new car so funds and overtime at work are not great.
I booked an appointment on the phone to fit a dashcam I already owned (garmin 66w) I needed a parking kit which they where selling at a reasonable price (no fitting prices where discussed) as I made the wrong assumption it would not be that much money and did not feel the need to ask.
Dashcam was fitted and I was handed the bill of £72 fitting I was shocked at the high price Halfords fitted the same dashcam for a reasonable price of £27.00 manager gave me a discount (actual price £30) When I tried to show them this (a slim looking brown/black guy that did the install) re my Halford receipt for fitting price they refused to look and repeated “this is not Halfords” several times but I knew that already. In hindsight I should have just gone to Halfords for fitting as now feel upset which is not what I’m supposed to be feeling after finally having my dashcam back and fitted on my new car.
I will hold my hands up and accept fault for not asking fitting price and assuming wrong. I am all for supporting independent companies but this just felt wrong. I will let the people decide if the fitting price I was charged was reasonable or not and if dynamic Sounds Audio Shop could have resolved this better?
