Very poor and shoddy work done at this workshop. A case of solving one problem and creating another. The technical know how is little to nothing. Had a SAM replacement for my car at Conrads but left with multitudes of issues, including the steering wheel becoming stiff, ABS light reporting as faulty, the handbrake light staying permernently on even after releasing the handbrake. The issues were definitely not there before the work at Conrads. When I complained I was told it's got nothing to do with them, because they assessed the issues to be mechanical and not electrical, when it was obvious to even a non-expert that the issues were electrical. They do not have the simple tools to diagnose the issues. I took the car to another workshop where it was discovered that a fuse was taken out and not replaced in the course of the electrical work done at Conrads, hence the cause of the new issues. I won't recommend Conrad's to anyone. Also, don't pay them cash if you are asked to. No good.

Worst experience ever. Wanted a stereo and subwoofer fixed for my daihatsu and told me straight up that a fascia plate didn’t exist. On top of that they tried charging me £450 for everything and said it was going to take a week! Don’t come here unless you want your vehicle ruined. Better off going to “Safe N sound” on bensham lane where they completed the job in 2 days for £350!

Top service! I have been going to Aaron for years for my car audio. He is a great guy and has always tailored everything to my needs as I am an electronic dance music producer and reference my tracks in my car. He knows I need all frequencies to be really clear, with good crisp bass. He has always helped me achieve the best results with each car, working around any problems that have arisen and has always given good advice and spent time tweaking everything to sound to my taste. I bought some Alpine 6 X 9s speakers and a sub years ago from him and they still sound fantastic. I just got them fitted in my new car, where unfortunately my Alpine head unit I bought from him for my old car head wasn't compatible so he did me a trade-in for the old head unit and amp for a good quality new amp for the back speakers and sub and is now sounding fantastic! Makes me driving very enjoyable and helps me make sure the tracks I release sound right. Would highly recommend!

Terrible service, took days off work to have basic speaker and DAB radio installed into car, went to pick up car first day wasn’t ready. Had to take car and rebook for following week as needed car for work. 2nd time turned up and was told car needs to stay with them, I said forget it I’ll go somewhere else and at first they basically refused to give me key back, after I told them I’d call the police they gave me key back. Avoid at all costs

Very disappointed with the overall service from Conrads. All seemed fine initially when i went into the shop, the older brother was very friendly so i was happy to use their services initially. However, the issues came when the younger brother that is also the audio installer was introduced. He has a very poor attitude about him and is incredibly rude, with no consideration to customer service what so ever. As a customer his response to me was its my job to tell him what technical parts and additions he needs to complete the job. Rather than him providing a customer the professional courtesy of advising on whats needed or additional extra may be required to complete the job... absolute ridiculous approach especially when i asked him a simple fitting question before he started the job and his response was "i'm the professional, you don't need to tell me how to do my job". Very disappointing service from this guy and his lack of customer service and poor attitude has ensured i will never use these guys again. Such a shame as the businesses has been there for over 40 years and i prefer to use local companies and pay the extra, however, i would have got a better service, result and cheaper price if i had gone to Halfords.
