I have been a client of Taj Accountants in London for the last five years. I always ask them about anything with my business and they are always ready and happy to help. I honestly think Taj Accountants cares about me and makes sure I am taking advantage of their services. They always communicate with me effectively which makes me feel that I am in safe hands. I went with Taj Accountants due to their reviews and my experience has been so incredibly poor. They ignore my emails and don't respond, they have completely neglected calculating the VAT which was due to be paid by my company which has put me in bad standing with HMRC who kicked my company off the flat rate VAT scheme as a result of Taj's incompetence. Taj Accountants have ignored my emails since August even though I have still being paying their fees every month. I advise you to avoid them! I've had many issues with their unresponsiveness and poor quality.
Muhammad Ismail at Taj Accountants in particular was supposed to be assisting with my company, but he doesn't respond to emails, doesn't fulfil the services (such as calculating VAT and corporation tax), submissions have been made late etc. But the whole company is responsible as they have a general email address so they all see my emails.

I'm a current intern in Taj Accountants and I have just graduated with my bachelor degree in Chicago this June. I expected to practice what I have learned in school in the real workforce, and since it is an internship abroad, it also tells me a lot about how the workforce different in the other country. There are many other interns from all over the world here (India, France, Chinese... and so on), but all of us feels comfortable and have no problem with communication with staffs or other interns here. Everyone in the Taj Accountants is very nice and friendly, and they provided lots of chances for the intern to be more professional.
With this experience, I got opportunities to know more new software and how the tax system going on in this country. I haven't had enough experience in this country yet, but I have found how important it is for individuals and small companies to figure out their tax problem, and it is really necessary for them to get more professional services that Taj accountant could provide, which enhances the companies necessity.
For my personal experience, since I've just got a job in the US. this internship could help me understand how it is different in accounting area among different country. Also, getting familiar with another countries system might provide me greater opportunities to deal with international business in the future. Overall, it's really a great experience and definitely a company that worth to be tasted.

As a business school student, INSEEC Business School, from France, I came to London to do an internship with my business school and the program Erasmus +. I can tell that this internship was a great experience. This was my first career related job. The objective of this internship was to discover the world of work in an accounting practice in London. Luckily, I had the opportunity to work at Taj Accountants in East London.
During my internship at Taj accountants I was surrounded by motivated and professional colleagues. They were very attentive and patient with me, they helped me a lot when I had trouble in my work. I never felt pressure on me. I learned so many things both useful in my personal and professional life. I can now use English more confidently.
I was sitting at the front desk so I could see the clients going in and out and from my perspective I can assure that the Taj accountant’s team always listen carefully to their customers and advise them the best way they can. The people working there are professional. Abul and Taj accountants have won many rewards such as the AAT licenced member award in 2017 and recently the small business of the year in 2019.
The clients are always happy when they leaved the office. Based in Whitechapel in East London the office is ideally located, clients won’t have trouble to find it.

I called up today and spoke to very unenthusiastic receptionist, who then passed me on to guy without telling me she was doing so. It didn't get any better, he just waffled and then said he'd send me an email with the details and fee's. I'm still waiting for this email now! How there's so many good reviews I don't know. I'm not saying it's bad but first impressions mean a lot, so you might want to take that into consideration.

In London, I had the opportunity to intern at Taj accountants, an accounting firm which specializes in small business and self-employment. This internship was my first career related job. Coming in to work on my first day in a new country, I did not know what to expect, from the culture to my tasks; however, I was welcomed by the staff. The staffs were very friendly and more than happy to guide me through my daily tasks, and they were always open to any questions, whether it be regarding wok or simply about the city itself. The accountants at Taj Accounts value their clients, and take the extra step to completely understand the business and situation of each of their clients. The accountants even advised their clients to help the clients and their companies strive toward success. As much as I have enjoyed working for Taj Accountants, it is now the day to give myself the title of ‘Former Employee’. Some of my duties included balancing accounts, processing numerous sales invoices, receipts and payments, preparing VAT returns, checking company bank statements, and dealing with financial paperwork and filing. It was a great opportunity to be part of this amazing and highly motivated, professional and qualified team. Throughout these two months I got the opportunity to learn how to use different accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks and VT. I also learnt how the tax system works in the UK.
During my internship, I was surrounded by sharp, intelligent, motivated and nice co-workers who were always ready and willing to guide me through the work I was undertaking and the software they work with.

This internship experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of having a good foundation because basic knowledge is the premise of work. It lets me realize that what you have known right now was totally different when you are actually working in the company. There are so many unpredictable issues that will happen and it is not enough for us to handle that with our classroom knowledge, but through individual experiences. Even if the job that you got after graduating corresponds to the major you have studied, you will still gain many new pieces of knowledge in work that you do not have in your specialized knowledge. Taj Accountants has provided me with so many resources and has taught me how to complete bookkeeping through VT transaction and QuickBooks. These applications are all popular to record financial events based on cash flows and cash position around the world. They were open to every question from my side and explained all the things I did not understand. But that was not the only thing I was surprised about, it seemed like every single of their clients is a friend of them, like they are just a big family helping each other with their Finances and so it’s no surprise that Taj Accountants have already won awards like the “Licensed Member of the Year 2017” Award from AAT. I am really happy to have had the chance to work for Taj Accountants, to be a part of that family and I wish all the best to Taj Accountants and my former colleagues.
