With the university application process fast approaching, I thought it would only be right to acquire a week of work experience in the field of work I wish to branch into, in order to give me an advantage over other university applicants. With that in mind, I decided to conduct research into some of the top accountancy firms in London. After looking at a range of very prestigious accountancy awards, it came to my realisation that Taj Accountants had won the “Licensed Member of the Year 2017” Award from AAT and considering that they were based only 20 minutes from my home, I instantly knew that Taj Accountants was the place for me. I met the owner in the near by East London mosque. He is genuinely a great guy, very passionate. He definitely impressed me. So I thought why not make him my preferred accountant. Happy days. Anyway I went to Taj accountants on Thursday 18th October 2018 to discuss non dom taxations, the self claimed "chartered accountant" greeted me. We went in to another room, I said everything I had to say, but to be honest that guy is rather rude. I didn't see any Customer Service skills from him whatsoever. Rather than convince me to use them, he came across very aggressive. This is a stark difference to the owner. You need to be watching your staff sir. Anyway I went to his competitors and they were brilliant, well mannered, well spoken and I appointed them to be my accountant.

I am Student from Czech Republic, which had opportunity to come to Taj Accountants for 3 weeks work experience via Erasmus+ Program.
I have to admit, I was a bit scared about working in accountancy company, but Taj Accountants team welcome me and showed me how accountancy works, they showed me basics of BTC Software, Xero, VT Transaction +, and so on, I've learned here so many usefull things that no one would be ever able to teach me in school, and they were able to do all this in just 3 weeks.
It's incredible how they talk to their clients, it's like one big family helping each other. They always do everything they can to make their client satisfied, and I can tell you, clients are satisfied, every single client left office with big smile on his face.
I am super exited that I had the opportunity to work in Taj Accountants and to know Abul Nurujjaman. He is doing great job, developing himself and Taj Accountants as a brand. Congratulations to him for winning AAT award.

I am a student from Slovakia who managed to get an internship in Taj Accountants via Erasmus+. When I learned that I’m working in an accounting company I thought it would be easy. It was however a little bit more difficult that I thought because I was in London due to different language and different accounting software.
However my colleagues were very patient with me and explained everything into detail so I learnt very quickly. They guided me through everyday tasks and answered every question I asked.
I didn’t know how much of a deliberate matter accounting was, but I understood it as soon as I saw how serious my colleagues treat every matter. No wonder Taj Accountants won an award for Best Small Business Accountants. Abul Nurujjaman, the managing director of Taj Accountants, won an award from AAT as the Licensed Member of the Year 2017 and he was also featured on the cover of AAT Magazine.
I learned a lot of important and useful things about taxes, VATs, bookkeeping and payrolls. I obtained skills in using software such as VT Transaction+, Quickbooks, Clearbooks, Freeagent and Xero.
Staff of Taj Accountants are very kind and nice. They treat everyone equally and try to provide advice to anyone who needs help. They explain things easily so everyone can understand. Employees of Taj Accountants value brilliance and working hand in hand with their clients. They respect the privacy and confidentiality to the highest regards of their clients.
Taj Accountants have their practice on Cloud, so in case of computer crash, they can back-up every client and not lose any important data. Clients bring their invoices and receipts to Taj Accountants who sort them and then do bookkeeping on a computer and cloud based software. That means they have paper invoices and also 2 copies of files saved on two different folders in computer which assures safety if something happened.
Based in Whitechapel in East London, Taj Accountants have great and favorable location. Clients can easily come from the city which is a short distance. The office of Taj Accountants is modern and spacious along with the meeting room where all personal problems of clients are solved by thoughtful and tolerant qualified accountants.
All in all, I had a great time at Taj Accountants. I learned a great deal of useful things for future, not only about accounting but I also improved my professional skills.

As a university student studying Mathematics at King’s College London, I came across Taj Accountants while looking for work experience during the summer. Due to how daunting accounting seemed at the time, I was hesitant at first to apply here as an intern. However, I was proven wrong and now I regret not applying earlier! The reason for this is not because of the difficulty of accounting, because it does indeed intensive and requires high amounts of concentration, but rather my seniors and fellow colleague have been brilliant to say the least.
From day one, I have been eased into the world of accounting, doing jobs that were simple at first but, before I knew it in just two months working here, I have developed a deep and complex understanding by the end of the internship. Whenever I got stuck on an issue, everyone was equally helpful in guiding me and, whenever I made a mistake, they would correct me in a kind and comprehensive manner, developing my skills as well as my awareness.
It also goes to show how professional the employees are to pick up on such errors, limiting future problems but also impressing me at the same time. Not only that, when I watch how clients interact with the staff, it feels almost as if their relationship goes beyond a simple supplier-customer interaction, ensuring that customer satisfaction is always high, and it’s like I’m part of this ethos too.
All in all, I would highly recommend Taj Accountants and can see why they are winners of the “AAT Licensed Member of the year 2017 Award”. I also wish the team my sincerest gratitude hope all goes well in their future endevours!

My experience interning for Taj Accountants has been quite enjoyable. I loved the diversity within the workplace. There are people from all across the globe working for Taj Accountants. Bangladesh, England, China, Burma, France and the United States are all represented within this reputable and accomplished accounting firm. I also loved all of the responsibilities I was given. They did not hold back with giving me big and important projects to work on. Their trust and helpfulness makes coming to work fun and stress-free. One of my favourite things about working for Taj Accountants is the amount of services they provide their clients. There are Ltd company accounts and self-employed accounts which covers practically every job you can imagine. I am a german small business owner in London and my company is active in property management. While looking for an accountant in London, I found Taj accountants as recommended by many other small business owners on google. Indeed, they deliver a friendly and professional service and are very supportive for small growing businesses. They offered me a range of flexible solutions for my problems, always taking into account my strive to grow and constraint to budget. I don't even know my own national german tax laws in depth but TAJ took his time to introduce me to the basics of UK law.
