Pros: Prices are good, opening hours are decent & variety/quality of stock.
Cons: Some of the staff don't really care about helping customers. Can take a long time to do something very basic. Don't come here if you're in a hurry! Had to wait 40 minutes to pick up something from click & collect while the sales assistant told the customer in front about holidays etc.. Should be a 5 minute job.

Absolutely hate this company. Wish I had never bought 3 bikes from them and relevant 3 year bike care plan. The staff is so rude and unwelcoming. I witnessed customers being treated very badly. I was served by Antonio. I found him utterly unprofessional and unhelpful. He tried to mislead about the safety checkups. He just wanted to fill air in the tubes and that is it. My bike was ready to go when I could see the bike needed a complete check up. Stay away from this company if you can.

I bought child car seat, other car accessories and had a staff around to assist, answered all our questions, even came out to the car park to check the car in what I wanted to fix the seat. Perfect service, very helpful staff.

I went there yesterday even though I had looked at the reviews I thought the customer service couldn't be that bad...but it was!
I couldn't find the item that I wanted so I went to look for a member of staff, I found one just as she was belittling a customer regarding the use of a particular car product. Since she had just finished with him I thought maybe it was just his manner, anyway I ask for the item I was looking for she sounded like she couldn't be bothered to answer. I was amazed, Halfords have excellent customer service but in the this store...I'd give it a miss.

People love to hate Halfords. But, truth is, they sell loads of reasonably priced stuff and the staff - especially the bike guys - do care about what they do. I recently had excellent service on my bike.

This store makes it difficult for you to spend your money - no wonder they’ve had financial difficulties. There was a queue of three people and had to wait 15m. Very inefficient customer services system

Unhelpful, rude, slow service. They actually aren't any cheaper than the independent shops. It took me 30 minutes to find a member of staff, they actually seemed angry that i was asking for help... Also, they wouldn't let me borrow a screw driver for a minute to try fitting something, what is that about? They didn't have the part in the end.
My advice is to go to nearby Paradise Cycles instead. I've bought and fitted a bike pannier for much cheaper than Halfords, with great service - really helpful and pleasant!

I came here today to buy a light bulb for my car and asked the man the counter for it to be fitted on for me which was as additional charge which i was happy to pay although i feel it is overpriced.
The man asked me to wait in the car and said the wait will be 10mins which i was happy to wait.
40min later and nobody has come to help so i walked back into the store and the man looked and my receipt and was shocked that i have been waiting for so long.
He then said someone will be out straight away.
15min later a lady with funky hair came out and changed the lights for me and she was sorry for the delay. Im future i would wait inside so they wont forget about paying customers.
