Horrible customer service . I was in the Bond Street store trying in the fitting room and about to buy 7 items when the fire alarm came off . A manager in menswear asked me to leave . He was so rude he even told me “well that nothing we can do about that “ . After that horrible experience I went to the Oxford Street store to buy the items I tried and the service was so bad . I waited 20 minutes the sale associate gone in the stock room and they made me buy one of the item on line because they didn’t have it in store .... Never ever Zara again ....

The shop is good overall, but the staff is not so helpful. They always seem stressed and when you ask for something, they look at you like you asked them for money.

I was allowed to enter the shop apparently after closing time, but I was not aware of this. They just let me look around like an idiot for 15 min and when I was about to try the clothes in the fitting room, they told me: “ah, the shop is closed”. Utterly ridiculous. Never happened in my life! They could have informed me at the entrance. Once a customer is in the shop, just treat him nice. What did it cost them to let me go in the fitting room for 2 min? There were still customers in the shop, it’s not like they would have waited for me. Hate mean people who try to be bossy.

Erm, a bald black guy called Darren? Avoid at all costs. He is the so called store manager but he needs to go back to customer service school or in fact just fix up his horrible attitude. If he has a wife, she needs to be doing a better job because his face is always screwed up. I once witnessed him saying to another colleague about a customer "I am not dealing with her, tell her she needs to go". He is one horrible man, and he is in the wrong field of work, simple.

Zara has been one of my favorite High Street brands to shop, unfortunately for the past 12 months I kept on been disappointed by this brand. The sizing for each jeans/trousers are no longer standardized and the stock availability shown on the online website is not updated. I've tried to purchased few New Collection items from nearly 5 different branches. The online information is totally outdated and in store staffs were not able to provide a satisfactory reasoning why the item is not available in that store when online system clearly shows that there are more than 1 item in stock. Treated like a fool by the unreliable information given by staffs have wasted me hours going back and forth from one branch to the other. Zara management should start working on improving the online system to ensure the customer satisfaction rates not keeping deteriorating in the next few months.

I love Zara. I get clothes that have a great fitting. If you like that type of clothing Zara is the best place for shopping. The material they use is so soft and you can get that nice feeling on your skin. Buy Zara

I'm a medium in Chinese sizes and Zara is the one store that has things that really look good on me. I feel the management are being skinflints when it comes to the staff budget.

There are around 5 stores of zara at Oxford Street and this one has one of the best and highest collections. The staff is sweet to talk to and very helpful. This store has usually long queues for billing and exchange

This store is a modern building which has some amazing collections but the probably is the staff. They don't you shop freely for some weird reason. Constantly interrupted by staff with restocking or removing the ones you have selected. This store has to get back to the basics n learn from the other Zara store in the same oxford street.

Nice store but very poor service. You even have to apologize to ask for an item or a size (even when the store is nearly empty). Recommend ordering online instead of going to this store.

I was shopping at Zara on Oxford Street on the 2nd floor (women's department). I was looking for a dress in my size and had just placed my bag beside me when a guy asked if I worked there. He then asked me if his shirt looked nice. When I turned around again, my bag was gone! I went down to report it to the security. There were 2 other victims downstairs. We spoke to the security, who offered absolutely NO help at all, which leads us to believe that he was also "in" it. We asked him to check the cctv. Maybe the robbers are still in the store. His reply, "Your bag's gone. Just write your name and number on this paper." And then he just left all of us there, DUMBFOUNDED. I saw 2 street security just outside the store and asked for help. One of them said that the store security should have reported such incidences to them, but they received no such call. They were also surprised. They gave me step-by-step instructions on what to do. With no assistance from Zara, I headed to Selfridges. The customer services department was kind enough to offer me water, a desk of my own and a phone from where I could call long distance to my family. They even assisted me in calling the police. Be careful when you shop in Europe. Even those who work in big-brand name stores are suspicious.

So ... I have been a Zara regular shopper for many years, in fact, since it was first introduced to the UK, yet I had an unpleasant experience with the staff in the Oxford Street (South Audley street end) branch - The Zara sales are fantastic and I saw a dress I liked marked down from £17.99 to £7.99, naturally I brought 2, one in both available colours, so elated with my bargain I didn't realise until I got home that I was charged £9.99 each. Despite the fact that a £7.99 sticker was attached to the original label. The very next day I visited the store and queued up for over 30min for them to refund my credit card with the owed £4.00, only to be told by the young lady on the tills that I was incorrect etc, etc and once I leave the store I have to accept what i paid (their policy) they actually presumed I personally put the sticker on myself of the £7.99. It took for me to go to the marked up dresses on display and show the 'manager' ...debatable if she actually was judging by her people skills???? for her to accept that I was right despite her poor attempt to embarrass me ... why did she let it get that far? I will still shop here but I will be sure to check my purchase before leaving the store next time????

During busy periods staff are helpful, even when trying to locate an item. Never had a problem at this store. Staff have been polite to me, one bent over backwards to find an item, while another was really nice at the till given how busy it was 2 days after xmas , thanx!

A rather short male member of staff called George (though possibly spelt in another way), barged passed me with a pile of ladies clothes, while I was queuing for the ladies changing room on the top floor - this was witnessed by Anna - who apologised on his behalf!!!! He then (in a rather Diva like manner) spat out that I should be queuing on the other side of an area with no signage. to indicate any such rule. I spent around 20 mins asking members of staff for George afterwards - it seemed that he was hiding out the back. Judging by some of the other reviews, it seems this branch has a knack for employing incompetent staff. I won't be returning.

The customer service is appalling. Queue for 30 minutes to try on whilst upstairs changing room is closed . When asked why told short staffed. Yet downstairs you have staff just standing around 10 minutes gossiping. Ask a price response dont have a price gun and walk off. The blonde Eastern European particularly rude in the changing room ignoring all customers and giving attitude and dirty looks for no reason. An older Spanish tourist customer probably 70 years old asked 5 times excuse me and 3 staff gossiping just ignored her. I had to say to them are you deaf or just rude? Management need a huge shake up in this store. Love the clothes though.
