Easily one of the best pubs in the Hove area. Professional, friendly staff and an ever delicious menu you can always rely on, augmented by a diverse selection of specials. Whether it's a quick pint or a full meal this is always one of my go to picks.

Disappointing. Used to love this place but it's not the same. Whilst my steak was tender it didn't actually taste of anything. The sauces were all very thin and bland also. Skin on fries didn't have any skin on that I could see, just looked like fries. Only 2 ales to choose from. Unfortunately I won't be back.

We stopped here for their Sunday roast. Good size portions, and the food was good, with a reasonable selection of draft. This place is a safe bet if you happen to be in the area.

Always a good roast in Sunday. Book well in advance and eat in the afternoon to get the best part of the food cooking time. Don't be disappointed if you go at 5pm for a roast and there's nothing left.

Just had a terrible meal here. Ham hock.. The ham looked like a dogs bone. The egg was undercooked and the chips soaked in truffle oil. Definitely wouldn’t recommend..
