I went on the weekend footstool course and couldn't recommend it enough. Anthony and Susie are great teachers and you come away with some great skills, a fabulous foot stool and a niggling idea that may be you could actually do this as a career... mmmm!

Completed a weekend footstool course and love it. Have since signed up for an evening course. The teachers, Susie and Anthony, are lovely and patient and super talented. So glad I did it, my footstool is beautiful and I cant wait to learn more. 100% recommend the course, the workshop and the teachers.

I had a great time on the Design, Print and Make course. It was amazing working with the fabric I'd designed to produce the perfect footstool for my home. A big thank you to the instructors (Anthony, Susie and Beth) for their patience, knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement!

I recently completed the contemporary footstool course, which I absolutely loved. Both Susie and Antony were great teachers and I met a great bunch of people. It was a very relaxed environment and i managed to produce a footstool that i was amazed with. I have already booked on to another course and I am really looking forward to starting this. I would definitely recommend the Ministry to anyone who has an interest in upholstery.

After attending the weekend footstool course at The Ministry, I was hooked! I've since completed the cocktail chair course and am now planning my next venture. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, but very professional and the tuition is excellent. The day time courses are very flexible - just book the number of days you need for your project over whatever time span you choose. This means you can fit courses around work and other commitments. If you even think you might be interested in learning upholstery, give this place a try!

I never thought I would be able to reupholster a chair to such a professional standard! Thanks to the course I enrolled on with the Ministry of Upholstery, all the help and advice from all the very friendly staff I have know completed 2 projects. I can’t praise this company high enough and can’t wait to go back for a third time.

Ministry of Upholstery is a fantastic place to learn everything you could possibly need to be an accomplished upholsterer. I myself started on an evening course, re upholstering one of my old chairs. I have met so many fantastic people and learnt so much. The atmosphere is very chilled and friendly and it is a joy to watch every one being creative.I have since made headboards, a variety of footstools and I'm soon to take on a Sofa bed ... I didn't think I would be able to do any of these things before I started, but I've definitely got the bug now! I feel a real sense of achievement when I complete a piece. If you're thinking of doing Upholstery, check out the courses available, there are lots of different ones to suit everyone. You won't regret it !

A fab place to dip your toes into the world of upholstery. I completed the footstool course and went on to re-upholster an Edwardian chair (which I sold). Trying to find the time to go back!

My wife and I attended the weekend footstoool course. The Ministry is a great place to be. Over two days we learned a huge amount about the basics of upholstery from great teachers, had lots of fun and came home with footstools that we still can't believe we made ourselves., Highly recommended.
