One of the few pubs in Brighton that will take food orders if you arrive a few minutes before kitchen is closing. Fair Mexican food, great beer selection, friendly staff and nice rock music on speakers.

Decent pub, friendly staff and a good selection of beer, though not so much choice for a cider drinker. Prices are a little steep however. Child friendly bar (which isn't a good thing as far as I'm concerned). Popular with students, gets noisy at night.

The staff are all great, and the food is fantastic! Edit: since writing this review things have changed a lot, and not for the better. The service has gone down hill. The food hasn't been very consistent in the past few months. Not terrible food, but definitely not worth the price.

Nice enough pub, tasty Ugandan food BUT very small portions and over priced! £7.50 for a small dish of mung beans and one chapati! Do not eat there if you're hungry! But of a piss take!
