I now understand why I go to specsavers.
I'm not sure who but there is one very rude member of staff who works in the mornings? Some staff are helpful but I would say AVOID.

In contrast to certain other opticians on the street I found Boots staff to be honest and helpful. The eye test was the most professional I've had for years. The sales staff were helpful and gave me confidence that they will supply a good quality product. They appeared to believe in their product. That's more than we can say about some other opticians.
I have ordered a pair of glasses and we'll see what happens.

A complete mess. Looks shabby, dirty even! Badly displayed products. Always out of something. Overworked stuff, over zealous and rude security guard. Surprisingly well informed pharmacists struggling in this unorganized environment and some good bargain deals just about save the day... sometimes...

Dissappointed. Not up to Boots usual standards. The shop was very run down looking and most of the shelves were empty at mid morning. Also no staff to be seen except for one at the pharmacy counter so no one to ask about anything your looking for. The state of this store looked like it was closing down.
