I came into this branch and then suddenly this security guy comes and follows me around thinking I'm a criminal while I walk around with my face mask on and looking for something I fancy, I find it annoying , other than that the branch is small nothing much here.

This is a parcel drop off point and the manager rudely refused my parcel. Said he has too many parcels and is well within his rights to refuse me. Very poor attitude to customer service.

Go to Tesco Metro 10-15 minutes walk down the High Street from here if you want better prices and selections. For convenience shop away here just bare this in mind.
Shop itself is OK, has the essentials and rarely runs out of stock when I visit. Has a bakery section and snacks if you're just visiting the area for a commute. More staff could help the large queues for products without barcodes and other issues, seems understaffed but they do a good job in the circumstances.

That Tesco is a shame, I came here on Saturday morning tk buy some food and some roll papers, when I asked to a guy if it was possible to get some, he refused, I asked why, his answer was "cause I don't want, that's the reason". In fact the guy was to lazy to walk behind the tills to get me some, I can not believe how that guy was rude without reason.

Too small, if you go in in the morning the aisles are usually blocked with staff trying to stack shelves and let customers pass at the same time. They seem to rarely open the Card payment machines until it gets ridiculously busy (probably because they seem to go wrong often), so there's usually a queue going up the already crowded centre aisle.
However, it does have the essentials and is on the route to the office, so it is a frequent stop, but it is far from the best Tesco experience out there.

Abysmal. Poorly stocked, breakfast items almost always empty at breakfast time, staff treat you as if you're going to steal something all the time, awful shopping experience. Avoid if you can.

The best customer services I have received from a Tesco Express store. The bakery aisle was empty I was approached by a member of staff named “Ahmet” who offered to go downstairs check if the bakery was ready to serve. He kindly apologised that they had a new oven placed he kindly brought up a tray of croissant.

Rude customer service. My card didn't go through which I did not realize as I was in a hurry because my 4 month old baby was crying. I was treated by 2 Tesco staff as if I tried to steal something...never felt like that in a shop before ..

Manager here is a total a-hole. So don't bother even trying to ask for the simplest help finding something. Plus the store is just barely more than a convenience store so there isnt much here to begin with. It's well worth your time to head down the street to the sainbury local.

Bought a 2ft carrot from a bloke in a top hat who spoke in a french accent and kept looking over his shoulder suspiciously, near the back of the store by the croissants.
It was a tasty carrot, sure, but strange experience.

It is undoubtedly the most middle class convenience shop I have ever been to! There is a respectablevariety of food to enjoy. It's a nice shop, though. Better than your other convenience stores... the food's just better quality and the charges aren't unreasonable.

Agree with the previous review - there are so many Tesco Expresses around here, and very few sell a wide enough range of products to cook at home. You can buy ready-made meals, salad items, booze etc but not enough for a full roast or even fresh herbs.

Very helpful staff always there when needed and they are on task . The shelf are never empty and its very easy to find something in that store as there are workers around to help

It took me some time to work out why this Tesco wasn't great, but then I realised... All of the terrible staff who work for Tesco are sent to work for this store: want staff who stand in your way? Who know nothing about where things are? Pointing to the obviously open till? Not open the card-only tills even when really busy? Not stock items that are empty in preference to almost full items? Security who block the aisles and doors when the store is almost empty? If so, use this as your regular store!
The staff are unhelpful, stupid and treat you like you're an idiot, it's only the location and Tesco pricing that makes this 2 stars, if it was for the staff this would be zero stars!!!

Exactly what you'd expect from a small Tesco Express. Good variety in the food and alcohol on offer, especially considering the size of the shop. Even a decent variety of ice cream.

A couple of great staff but several problems make me sad it's my local. Consistently out of date offer labels and have highlighted (and purchased unfortunately) out of date food, it's a very small shop so should be easily managed. Always stocking the shelves at peak times. Difficult to move, too close for comfort

I bought some things for the first time in this Tesco and I will not be back. Upon leaving the store, the security guard asked to look at the receipt and my bag. First time this happens to me. The cashier himself put the purchases in the bag. If that happens in America, it would lead to a lawsuit. Poor market, I'm entering into
