First the pros: store was clean, logically organised and I could easily get what I wanted.
Unfortunately, it was chaotic, there was little to no social distancing, few people were even wearing masks, there was some sort of fracas between a customer and member of staff, and the staff member serving me appeared to be rude, but I think was just completely vacant/distracted and not paying attention.

In my opinion Asda is the leading supermarket chain available. They are well stocked, fairly priced and give vey good value store wide.I have found that all of their own brand goods are very good value and I recommend all of them. I am glad to be able to use Asda and would like to thank them for continuing to look after the public by providing Excellent service at excellent prices.

I give it 2 stars because the shopping is cheaper than other supermarkets. Otherwise, i was very disappointed when i asked nicely the butcher to cut a whole chicken into 6 pieces and he declined.Cashiers are very friendly but the security gentlemen at the door were bullish to other customers. I will go to next door supermarket in the future.

Not sure if this is Asda or the local run corner shop, stating they open at 7am but once you get there, they refuse to open because the security guard has slept in or his alarm didn’t go off, so a whole Asda store has to remain shut until this incompetent security guard gets to work. They should consider renaming it to ‘security guard reliant convenience store.’ Absolutely outrageous!!

The shop is now far too crowded. Large numbers of customers aren’t wearing masks, or only over their mouths and not noses. The shop needs to limit numbers and must refuse entry to customers who refuse to wear masks properly. 1 in 30 Londoners have covid, rates are very high locally, and there will definitely be cases in this supermarket.

Aggressive and provocative staff with no training. I have witnessed several customers over the years suffer verbal abuse. Secondly the shelves are not stocked to fill capacity efficiently. It's a poorly run supermarket and I have written an official complaint. Would encourage others to do the same so changes can be made here. Gross incompetence from management for ignoring customer complaints. They are only making sales due to their location. If another supermarket were to open across the street this place would not survive.

I had heard bad things about this supermarket and they were all correct.
Social distancing is non existent and at least 40% of people were not wearing masks. Staff who work in shops are meant to wear masks and I saw numerous staff not wearing masks. Very disappointing

During the second lockdown the opening times of the store changed to 7am on Saturdays. It's been over two weeks and the store still refuses to open at 7am and continues opening at 8am. Everytime I spoke with store manager he claims he was unaware and he will get that changed. But it does not change. This has caused me and I am sure others who are shopping for the local community and are having to stick to a strict time table a lot of logistical issues. This will be the last time I rely on Asda, you rather pay a bit more and save money on fuel, time and receive better customer service elsewhere.

There was only one lady who was serving customers and people who were coming to collect their stuff were being sent to join the queue!
Really? Unable to understand what does "CLICK AND COLLECT" mean because you're spending the same amount of time anyway! ????♂️

Asked 2 Asda staff if strawberries where available. Didn't hear my first call, got closer, still didn't acknowledge me, had to raise my voice over their chit chat. They pointed to the end of the isle and said it's out of stock. I went there and it's filled with strawberries.

Worst customer service ever! I waited at the customer service for ages for the shop assistant to realise that she had customers (she was too busy at the front flirting shamelessly with the security guard! When she does get around to serving me she is very rude and speaks to me like English is not my 1st language - I'm more educated then you mate! You are there as a customer service provider so stick to providing me with a service Shama and leave your stinking attitude at home!

Worst Asda I have ever been too. I literally live 5 mins across the road but go to the one in Leyton just to avoid the staff here !! Rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. This store gives Asda a bad name but thankfully having shopped at Leyton for 20 years I know this store is an exception to the rule. For anyone thinking of shopping here, do yourself a favour and DONT!! There's a Sainsbury's 2 mins away where the staff are only to happy to help!!

Staff in this store need a complete retraining (if they ever got one in the first place) in their customer service skills. They are rude and shout at you when nearing closing time. This one experience with a young man was shouting at me to go to the tills, he'd already said to me twice and the third time I looked and it was still one minute before closing time and I felt like he wanted to get into an argument. The forth time he screamed at me from down an aisle and I nearly shouted back because it was only 5 minutes past the closing time.

They always change the opening and closing times at random days without informing the customers which is very annoying and also they always close the shutters for the entrance so early. I arrived at 10:00Pm and the shutters were closed!

need no shopping ? go to ASDA ! one of the worst shops around-: seriously - why would one even go to a"shop" with empty shelves - it's a total chaos there (as bad as Asda at isle of dogs- i guess issues with staffing or more managers there too)! it's a shame because that means the shop will close at some point /staff will loose jobs etc.

I MADE AN ORDER ONLINE, NEVER GOT MY DELIVERY AND ASDA REFUSES TO ANSWER TO ME AND NO REFUND HAS BEEN MADE. IT HAS BEEN A MONTH NOW. Asda turned into thief since this lockdown is stopping us from going to the shop.
Stop sending me marketing emails and answer my query or at least give me back my money!!!

This store is regularly under staffed and under stocked. Over 10 minutes to get to the kiosk counter, which was also serving click and collect which the young man had to run to a storage of some sort. I am yet to see the store manager, and I use this branch frequently. The tills normally close at around 9pm approximately. I dont work here and I am thus forced to "work for free". In short, convenience of location, Poorly run.

Several times bought meat that turned out to be rancid, and the staff always presume you’re leaving having stolen something (the rotten meat?) so they check your bags and ask for receipts. Every time. I feel like I’m in prison whenever I need to go there. Sadly this is the only store of this size where I live but I’d be happy if it shut down.

Went in to collect a parcel from the George website since the store is near my office. No-one at the kiosk. Waited a few minutes and the fruit/veg person came over and told me the customer service person will arrive soon. A few more minutes and they've turned up. Totally rude to me. Went off in a huff as my parcel was in a locked cupboard, rather than behind the counter and she didn't have the key. Took another few minutes to get the key. In the meantime, another member of staff arrived and was also rude to me. Also had the security guard watching over me like he was expecting me to steal something from the kiosk. I was nothing but polite to all the staff I encountered, so no idea why they treated me so badly. Awful service, think I'll get the order sent to my local store next time.

Products are incorrectly priced and labeled. Understaffed, took 6:43 to get me correct price and I was left with items for another 5:21 when I decided to use till equipped with human. I was informed that she is closing this till and I may wish to use self service as I only have 3 items...
