Yesterday I went to this store. The staff are absolutely rude, disrespectful. This store is run by security guards, not managers and staff. It's like visiting North Korea. I was verbally abused by the guards in front of my wife and one year old baby. We were lucked up in store in the mersy of the guards. And we were threatened by the 4 guards, and after 21 minutes of being locked in the store we were thrown out of the store without being served by the staff. Our fault was that we were only 2 minutes late for the tills, and the reason for that was my baby was crying non stop. We tried to calm him. We thought this is Asda, so they will understand that we had a baby who was crying. Instead they used F Words at the same time while we were busy calming our baby and asking them to serve us. One staff member came forward to say that she was willing to serve us, but the security stopped her from helping us. There is a lot of rubbish customer service practices that exist in this store. That I cannot explain here in my review. I am utterly disappointed with the way we were treated by Asda. Never had I imagined it.

It's a massive place that you can find almost anything. From gardening stuff to all of the groceries, busy place. This place has click and collect drive thru, atm, self checkouts, restaurant, butchers, flower shop, Paypoint and many others. Although what I noticed some stuff can be unhelpful at times depending who you ask for help. Hence my 3 star. Overall, I love the place due to the convenience of having all the stuff in one place. Happy shopping to you all.????

Worst Asda ever. It is and looks pretty filthy... the stocking is always a mess. People don't wear masks at all even though there is a guy giving free ones at the entrance.

This ASDA store feels like a really bad franchise store rather than a supermarket. Staff are rude and often are shouting and arguing with each other sometimes to such an extent I feel they may start a fight. Staff are not helpful at all. Deals are often advertised and when you go to pay the deal hasn’t been put into the systems and you get charged full price. When you tell staff about this they ask you to prove it and then you have to take them to the deal shelf to prove that it’s a mistake. This has happened on several occasions. Do yourself a favour and just go across the river to a supermarket in Greenwich.

I went shopping today in the morning with my little one and had a surprisingly good experience in the checkout... A lady called Christina who work on checkout line 2 helped so much with my shopping... She packed everything for me and asked her colleague to help put everything on the line... After she helped to place all the bags in the trolley. All that with a smile! Really nice lady! If everybody else was like her...!

Very, very poorly stocked. Every time I visit the shelves are bare and it makes it impossible to shop properly.

The supermarket is conveniently located in the center of the Isle of Dogs and has all the essential shopping needs for a good price. However, I sometimes have the feeling that the shop is not managed very well as the stock in the shelves looks a little run down with items missing or not restocked in time. Although fruit and vegetables are sometimes not fresh or sold out in the evening. A plus is the excellent fish counter with fresh fish.

Very rude staff. Assistants behave bossy and talking to customers with rised voice. Avoid this place!

Probably the worst supermarket ever. Many staff standing around chatting while those who are actually working are being overwhelmed. Poor social skills and customer service when you dare to ask for help. Too much clutter in the isles and overall it always seems to be very badly managed. It used to be very good years ago but now I avoid it and go elsewhere.

I would like to thank Asda employee Mr. Mubarek I. as he saved our xmas day of my family yesterday. Having this chance, I also would like to thank rest of the employees, as I am shopping there almost 3 years, I think most of the employees of Asda are very helpful and brilliant.

It’s best place where the world’s comes to shop. Halal foods are mentioned and arranged separately. Thanks to ASDA

Years ago it used to be a pleasant experience to shop here, not anymore. I've had staff cut the queue right in front of me. Today a woman in staff uniform bumped me with whatever she was pushing, in a fairly empty pet aisle. This is no way to treat your patrons? Only shopped here for convenience, have now found alternative food stores that are cleaner, more welcoming and has conscientious staff. #valueyourpatrons

My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to one of Asda's Isle of Dogs manager: Sadiq, who goes beyond his duty in caring for his customers. My daughter wanted koala balloon for her birthday, I was trying to find it in supermarket but could not find the exact one she wants, hence I bought online however no helium, and with all stores closing during lockdown it is difficult to buy helium, so I asked Asda customer service whether we could pay for any balloon so we could get her birthday koala balloon filled in with helium. Sadiq, the store manager, came to rescue and help filled in my daughter's balloon with helium for free. My daughter was beyond excited and I cannot thank you enough for Sadiq's help in making her birthday a happy one. THANK YOU!

Terrible experience. I’ve ordered online and my order was cancelled without any explanation. I called at the customer service and they told me there’s no explanation, you just need to order again. Like yeah, I don’t have anything else to do, I’ll be booking Asda orders all the time. And what is the guarantee that I will get my order this time? Never again

Large Asda store with a vast array of products from clothing, shoes, home ware, toiletries, cleaning products, toys, groceries and much more. Large car park and several buses servicing the area means it's easy to get there. Toilets in the store, though I did not use them. Self-service and manned tills with a little bit of queuing. Overall the shop offers good value for your money. Unfortunately on the day that I went, the store appeared quite untidy and disorganised. This made it difficult to find some of the things I was looking for. However, what I did find, was very reasonably priced.

First of all the big sign outside is confusing, it says "24 hours" but it refers to the parking area. There are always weird people around and inside the supermarket. The products from ASDA are alwaaaaays out of stock. Also: LAW OFFENDERS. I totally agree with the previous comment. Mostly of the employes do NOT wear the face mask or they wearing it without covering the nose.

LAW OFFENDERS! I had a terrible experience this afternoon at this supermarket. I noticed at least 3 staff members who weren't wearing a mask, so basically BREAKING THE LAW. One of them came very close to me (less than 50 CM AWAY) to fix the conveyor belt, while I was using the card machine to pay. No care of social distancing. He was NOT WEARING A MASK. I asked him to step away from me and enquired why he isn't wearing a mask. He refused to answer, so I do not think he was extempt from wearing it. Then I saw two other staff members without a mask in close proximity to customers and I enquired the same thing. I was told I am not their manager to ask such a thing. The security person in the entrance stall kept the mask under his nose and when I enquired it, he rudely asked me to leave the store immediately. This is the LAST TIME I shop in Asda, as they are clearly taking this pandemic as a joke and putting the health of their customers in danger.

I had a terrible experience. I am pregnant and I got in to the vulnerable line. I started to feel all the eyes on me like I was doing something wrong. When I was about to get in, they made me proof that I was pregnant (almost 5 guys questioning me of it) I was insulted for the security stuff. ( I have blood pressure and I faint really quick if I stand up for to long). Then one of the security guys came to tell me that next time don’t come to find trouble. I started crying of impotence. I put a claim but they barely apologize for anything and felt like they still not believe me. I have been coming to this store for 5 years. I am super disappointed. Super disrespectful stuff. I have been going to every other shop and none of them had any problems letting me pass before.

Nice Asda which is reported to be closing down soon. Such a shame as its good. Really well located to Crossharbiur with a big car park and entrance to Mudchute farms. Lots of bus routes. Nice toy selection for kids. Managed to pick up a nice folding picnic blanket bag for £10 as well. The cafe is closed due to the pandemic. Good service overall, clean and well stocked. 5 stars. ???? ???? ???? ???? ????

Love the fact is 24hrs and has plenty of parking spaces. Best time to shop is late after 12am as the store is completely empty and they're also restocking a lot of the items. During the day can get really busy and not enough staff on the tills to help. Petrol station always open and really well priced compared to others.

Tried to do some shopping here for the first time today. (1st July). Big mistake. No queue marshall at the door and as a result the store was way busier than it should've been. Zero social distancing in evidence by customers or indeed staff. Young woman supervising the self serve tills did her best to hide from view lest anyone would ask for help. Product range is very low end. Waitrose it ain't!! On the plus side the trolleys were clean and there were lots of free spaces in the car park. I won't return.

This is the only real 'Supermarket' on the island apart from Waitrose (Canary Wharf), all those Tesco Express's dotted around here shouldn't be classed as one due to the sheer size of them or the lack of it... The store was opened in the early 1980s and has catered to everyone on the island since, the main structure hasn't changed much over the years but has moved with the times of course. If you've been to any other Asda store before, you'd know what to expect in terms on things on sale, what services they offer and the layout of certain departments. The staff are generally nice and helpful, nothing really more to say about it. It is what it is...

Ended up too many times in the customer service as prices announced on the shelves don't always match with what is charged on the bill mainly from March 2020 onwards. The toilets are rubbish! Looking forward to seeing other supermarket options in Isle of Dogs.

Great place for home shoping, large parking park so no headache, Lways parking space available, there is car wash and petrol Pump near by so we enjoy our home shopping in ASDA not only that its very big and we get everything we need.

Really bad customer service. People openly do not care. Collection service does not work - they made me wait for almost an hour to pick up the parcel, and it was just me in the line. Never again ordering delivery here. Really bad.

The range of available products has gone down DRASTICALLY in 2021. For instance, they discontinued altogether rocket salad and frozen rasberries. This indicates that ASDA is getting too money hungry and putting profits above quality and variety. I also called dozens of times, but the lines are always closed. It's impossible to get in touch via phone and they also don't provide any customer service email address for this store.

“Really quality foods” Great choice and wide variety of foods at decent prices, really great” It’s a good supermarket you can get all your basics and very good prices. Very nice shopping experience, worth the trip. Prices really lower than any other superstore. Working local to this branch today and found it easy to park over Christmas period. Came into stored ordered a 9 piece breakfast because that’s how they have it set out not like normal places where you can say I’ll have a big or small breakfast or no sausage etc. They don’t tell you what your getting just says 3,6,9 piece . The lady was rude at the till and don’t say please or thank you no manners at all . She handed me my breakfast and I ordered toast and tea with it . When I got to my table to try my food the only thing Luke warm was the beans everything else was cold and I mean cold the bacon was so tuff I thought it was going to offer me out twice lol .i don’t expect much but for £6.75p I expect nice hot fry up a nice tea and a nice welcome is that to much to ask for ... well at Asda they have over priced there food and they don’t give you a choice and the staff are not good at there job so I’ll let you decide but me personally I won’t be back because if you can’t get something so simple right then what else are you going wrong ... see ya!!!
