This store has lost its reputation. Not a store that likes people to come and shop at. Staff are rude and dont show where the products are. Mess on the floor and slippery surface. The manager a tall skinny Asian person named as 'Nurul Islam' surely does not stand up to the meaning of his name. He suffers from interaction skills, management, customer service and lastly even a simple smile! In my opinion he is way out of his league in this company and he is using his position of power to rule everyone in this store, staff and customers! He definitely needs to be replaced with someone with more kindness and full of joy! Please if any managers or staff reading this let him know in person. I have also seen him smoke like a chimney outside in the staff smoking den. Disgusting behaviour!

I always come here to do my shopping. They have everything you need. Food is good quality at an excellent price. The parking lot is massive and busses are coming and going constantly. the DLR is 3 min walk, just need to cross the street. This supermarket has toilets as well and they are pretty clean, with soap and hand-dryer always working.

In asda nhs staff and care workers don't have first priority to enter the store. All other store including Tesco Sainsburys and Morrisons have first priority to nhs and care workers. Also if you have a child or a disabled person. How disgusting is asda in that case. Asda should learn something from Tesco Sainsburys and Morrisons.

A shamble of a store. When done well, Asda really know how to get it right. This store is letting the reputation down. The layout is confusing. Milk is not in the dairy section. Butter is on the other side of the store to it. The prepared meats fridge is in the clothing aisle. This is so confusing. The store is untidy. Goods are not where the corresponding price label is, this makes it a mystery to keep track of what you might expect the bill to be at the end! The homewares aisle is particularly disgraceful. It looks like it has never been tidied and quite honestly looks like no one wants to which is why stock is not being replenished. The staff are equally apathetic to the cause and I feel this has to be a direct reflection to the managers leading them. No motivation and not customer orientated. A really bad performing store, could be so much better. Would not be sad to see a problem buster tackle this, definitely would not miss it if a competitor decided to take over.

I love Asda, and I came up early at 6am (as per their schedule) because of this virus thing and they've decided to open at 8am. The could have changed this online as well, but didn't bother. Ohh.. well I think Asda doesn't love me as much as I do to her =))).

Please change your soecial shopping hours for NHS and vulnerable people, as i stood for over an hour today from 8am ,i am 73yrs old, and when i asked why the change, nobody wanted to take the onus for the details laid out on the website. Very dissapointed . Have been shopping here for over 18yrs. Well done all staff keeping the shop flowing.

I really don't like going in there any more. Went in on Sunday for Taylor's coffee beans, Country life butter and some soda cristles. Couldn't get any of them. What I did get was hit on the leg by a large black metal stand that is for the sugar palette, but it was leaning up against the shelves. I lent forward to grab a bread mix and this stand dropped onto my leg. I went and got the only member of staff I could find from the freezer area. Who did ask if I was ok and went off to get some one to sort it out. Sick of waiting

The tool was broken, but they'd left it open anyway and the staff seemed to find it really funny that loads of people were waiting. It took ages to find anyone to even look at it as the staff are all chatting to each other, in fact some even play fighting instead of social distancing Then a guy that tried to fix it just walked away with the job half done. Joke

Quite possibly the Worst-managed store I have visited. Considering it is a 24 hour store, the staff are overwhelmed by the fact that seven of the ten self-service tills were out of action, and there were roughly 20 people waiting in line at 10pm. The store itself has a good range of items for sale, but at that time the aisles are choked with pallets and cages waiting to be put on shelves. Something really needs to be done to improve this!

Terrible atmosphere, rude managers and staff. I avoid coming here at all costs. Hajj baba butchers, great to see halal, but very bad customer service skills .Look at all the reviews, there are so many negative reviews, I wonder why? There is a reason why it's called Asda - Isles of Dogs!

The store manager was very rude, my auntie is disabled and she went shopping for some emergency staffs so politely she asked one of the CA that she is disabled and she can’t stand in the queue, the CA asked the store manager and the store manager replied if you can’t stand then sit on the ground. Can’t you believe it?

A pretty good place to do all your shopping. Occasionally you don't find few items in stock or you won't find the prices for it because they didn't put up the label or they never removed the out of stock label. The selection and variety is huge. The bakery is good but you may not be impressed with the hygiene of the chefs. Spacious parking. Good public transport connectivity.

A huge and great place to buy a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and general groceries. Has huge stock of frozen pizzas, ready to eat stuff and ice creams. Always well stocked in terms of variety as well as quantity of each item compared to other stores and friendly staff as well

Very poor layout, worst shop I have had the misfortune of going to. This shop is a complete entity on its own. Cream not with milk but on the other side of the shop by the bread! Flour not in bakery section. God knows where that was!? By the toiletries knowing the shop. I gave up and left my basket & went to Tesco instead!

This place is good for shopping. But during night time, even from 10 pm there were only one til open. Self service til is OK but not the best. You should open more til. At least look at the que then decide. I did my shopping within 10 min. Then in the self service que for 25 min. Bad, really bad.

Lots of people in Asda who want to do the shopping or if they don't want something they can return it back to the Asda store.

Went to Asda isle of dogs today. What is the point of standing in a line outside 2 meters apart!!! When once you get inside there is no social distancing and that’s not just the customers that includes the staff no face masks worn by any staff totally disgusting

There is a good variety of products available in this ASDA including a halal butchers which is a nice addition. The shop itself feels quite dirty though including the toilets which had holes in the cubicle walls in the men's. Layout is also very unusual.

I am a regular customer. the girl who took care of me in the tobacco section, did not want to change the coins I had, but every day that I have gone they have changed them without problem. After that, I asked him to call his manager and he said no. Very bad attention from the girl who sold tobacco. Another thing that I want to emphasize, I go many days to eat at the "restaurant" of the asda and every time I have gone the staff that has been attending has been very border and unkind. I think that if you dedicate yourself to attend to the public you have to have a minimum of education and happiness !!

I called into the store to check if an item was in store as it was needed urgently. After speaking to four different people they told me the item I want they don't do it at their store. The next day I went and turns out they did have it in store. Appalling customer service!!

It's looking like there's not enough people to put stuff out on shelves (or even clean toilets..) shaleves look like mess with 100s of empty boxes on display and products out of date not being removed (so do check your dates). Not superuser ASDA is loosing to competitors

I've been living close to Asda for almost one year and I have never had problems as people mentions here. They have really good price and offers, fresh food, a vast variety of products as I never found in another superstore. When I do the online shop they aways call me to check if it's possible to come earlier, even if I choose the cheaper and later delivery. Few times the food I have chosen was unavailable but they replaced it with other better and with a high value. The customer service are great, I never had problems exchanging clothes, exchanging money for parking or trolley. I feel I am lucky to live close to this great superstore.

Very racist to black teens youll go in to get some chia seeds and you'll come out with a guard waiting for you at the gates whilst they don't do it for any other races, felt very uncomfortable and emotional and won't be returning. But great vegan selection

Great availability for day to day groceries, extensive George Clothing range; although successfully finding uniform sizes including school shoes is a hit and miss due to demand and looks a complete mess sometimes. Staff are usually very friendly, I do find the women more helpful and polite than the men. Sorry, I know that's a sexist comment but my honest expierence. It's a busy store round the clock so to expect everything in its place would be unrealistic, customers so seem to just chuck unwanted items everywhere rather than return them to allocated shelf space ???? especially in the Home and Toy depts.

The baskets don't tend to be displayed at the front of the shop meaning I have to go to the self checkouts and grab one. The products don't seem to be well replenished through the day which is inconvenient for those who find getting there first thing in the morning or during the day and can only go in the evening.

Horrible place, especially the checkout section leader Sadiq, the man has a disgusting attitude and a horrible personality I have never met somone so pathetic and arrogant as him. His huge ego is clearly compensating for something small.

Rude and arrogant staff at the halal meat section always refuse to help out. ASDA should think twice having 3rd party companies operating in their stores. I’m referring to Hajji Baba. ASDA management you need to over see these rude butchers are trained on customer services side.

It's okay, queues can get very long due to slow service. There are about 10 items on hot menu but only cook about half of it so it doesn't make sense why we have to wait for this to come out quite often. Breakfast has poor choice. Lunch is decent. £5 on average your spending without a drink.

We went around 8 on Saturday, most products on discounts were completely sold out , many shelves looked empty. Need better availability. Otherwise generally a good store with very reasonable petrol pump

There is no customer service in this place the staff are very rude specially check out staff. I am very apalled by this that a company of this size, with a great reputation for quality and price are letting this happen. Where is good old customer service these days. Please stay well clear this place will have no respect for you or your children in the evening. I have been shopping there for the past 8 years and have notice this behaviour in the last year??? You are going to loose your good customers, please don't keep up the bad work.

Worst customer service, incredibly unfriendly staff, super-long queues! The staff needs to be educated how to smile at least.... You feel super unwelcome, some of the staff seem to do you a big favour wasting their time on you as a customer!!! The so called managers are even worse! Well, don't get me wrong, but I do believe this type of ''service'' is normal in their countries, where they're from....

Delivery people knock once, then jog to the van and proceed to leave unless you run after them on the road. Second time the delivery guy just said I was not there and cancelled the order...I was waiting at home all day...
