Typical Asda. You can get good deals but you can end up with cheap things. You would think that this place is cheaper than other supermarkets but sometimes the more fancy places offer cheaper prices. Generally, it is a good idea to make your big shoppings here and do the day to day shopping in smaller shops. Try to avoid the weekend when the place gets very busy.

Awful kiosk services from Karim, he tries to sell twin pack items as single items, he as an attitude problem, only decent staff member there is Christine. Be aware this store is very poor..with staff that are rude....

Great for virtually everything shopping. Express checkout for 1 basket customers. The only negative is that they change the layout regularly... but could be solved as staff is very friendly and eager to help. It's often crowded? Well... what did you expect from a shop with best prices in the area?

It's mess. Stuff just pretending work. Empty shelves. Expiried products. For me they need proper training how to work or new managers. Please organise mess and restock stuff. I'm coming for shopping not to watch lazy people.

Went in to collect an online George order: just a simple item in a cardboard box. To start with, the collection kiosks are covered in poorly worded, hand written signs with grammatical and spelling errors, explaining how the kiosks are broken. After I'd navigated my way round the kiosk, it took 18 minutes for my order to be brought over. Totally ridiculous amount of time to wait. The security guard sat there watching all that time and didn't offer to phone through to the warehouse.

Brilliant service from Alexander and his team. Very impressed with the £119 for two pairs as well. My prescription is very high so the lens thinning usually costs £100+ alone

Convenient place, price is decent considering the quality of most of the goods. The canteen is baby and family friendly, the food is OK, not the best but cannot complaint with the price. It is located in between the cross harbour DLR and Mudchute Farm, which is a plus to us as the kids always love the farm visit

Makes no sense that to borrow a mobility scooter you first need to become a member. Then once you become a member you also have to pay a deposit to borrow a scooter when it's evident that you need a scooter to compete your shopping. No other store which I have visited does this, nor do any other businesses. And then to make things worse. You cannot take the scooter out of the store to your car. So your expecting a disabled person to walk their shopping from inside the store to their car. How can you call this disabled friendly. The whole point of these scooters is for less able people. But if you make them carry all of their shopping from store to the car that makes no sense. It removes a person's independents when they need to rely on other people to help them. Especially seeing as the staff are unable to help you out.

Just received a £40 charge from parking eye! Your car park on the 28/2/2018 was completely covered in snow and not gritted which resulted in taking time to enter your car park as the bays were covered up so trying to distinguish if I had parked in a bay was impossible and trying not to slip was a task. Now as a customer some grace shoukd be given due to the adverse weather conditions not slapping customers with fines!!

Very disappointed, I have been going there for two years, it seems that the store has been left going down, food not always available, more than often store looks with big lack of staff. Using automatic till is totally useless even for few items because quite every time you can face issues and wait for assistance. Staff in different cases is not helpful and busy to do something else, understandable if you think to the lack of staff. It would be better stop the automatic till and concentrate in a more traditional service

Pretty poor supermarket. It's dated and filthy. Empty shelves everywhere. Popular products not replaced for weeks. Pallets left all over the place getting in the way of shoppers. Products distributed haphazardly, it's impossible to know where certain items are unless you're lucky to stumble upon them (eg cream by the bread counter instead of the dairies). Very little variety in products (eg a whole row of shelves, top to bottom, dedicated to pilau rice only, but only a couple of varieties of white rice). Half the tills have no shopping separators. But worst of all, some staff work in dickensian conditions. Till staff have no space to move. Many sit on broken chairs for what I imagine are hours upon hours. It's like the store management has given up. One star up because it's close to home.

Strange and surprisingly there is no cart allowed to be used by the customer and they have to use ur own/supermarket's hand basket. If you are going for a week shopping as I have gone for then it would be difficult for you to carry your heavy stuff by your own. Apart from that I found that this is one of the best superstores in London I have visited so far. Including the Waitrose, Tescos Express, Sainsburys, etc., If you are looking for some good discounts and wide varieties, GO for it. (Ofcourse you have to carry all the weight you shop as they don't allow trolley for free use of customer)

I have been shopping here since for years. Customer service is great as staff are very happy to help. The store is usually clean and well organised. Baskets and trolley are ALWAYS available, I come here 4 days a week and never encounter a problem with the baskets or trolleys. 1 star rating taken off because of the fact that the older Asian Male who works at the customer service counter is a little rude when dealing with other asians. It's like he knows that he can make asians wait for his help because they wont go complain. I mean his right because nobody really does but I hope they change this type of attitude .

Pretty mixed experience. Some helpful and friendly staff, especially on the tills, but the shop floor staff seem to be able to get away with a lot. Stock control seems poor - there are often empty shelves, and I can't get what I came in for. They also manage to contrive a long queue for the checkout no matter whether there are 1000 or 5 customers in the shop. In 5 years I've never seen all the tills open, not even at Christmas/Eid. Prices are OK, but not a reason to go there. Overall the feeling is of a store with some decent people, but where the management hasn't quite got a grip.

Ridiculous online booking app and customer service. I had placed the order from ASDA app and as the app showed collection time of 8AM to 10AM , I selected this option. I reached the store at 9:15 to collect my order and to my dismay the store was closed, spike to the customer care but they mentioned that every Sunday the store opens at 11 AM. Now I understand that the store opens at 11 but then why did the app showed the option for collection from 8 to 10 AM for Sunday. It was an utter hassle for me because I reached the store amidst heavy rain just to collect my order on time. Even the customer care executive’s response sounded as of it was my mistake to come at this slot when the store remains closed at this time. Very bad customer service, utterly disappointing

Asda... a complete waste of time and energy!!!! Put an order through to be delivered next day (sunday 17/3/19) and what happens, it does not turn up ???? Was home ALL DAY but customer service confirmed the driver had apparently been but nobody was home... complete lie’s, he/she did not even have the decency to call, text or email letting me know my order was cancelled! Whats more than likey happened is the driver could not be bothered on a sunday to deliver between 6-8pm so decided to go home early and no care about the customers! Well done Asda, brilliant staff you have ????????

I shop here once in a while and quite like the store. They have a good selection of groceries and other items. Not too crowded on weekdays. And there's a public toilet and free parking up to 3 hrs.

The most disgusting customer service I have ever seen from Sadiq. He is supposed to be the team leader of the checkouts, yet he leads by poor example. This lady, who clearly has special needs would ask for his assistance but, like the little rat that he is, will hide in the store cafe trying to avoid her. I've seen this lady wait for nearly 30 minutes, for what should have been a 10 minute shopping trip.

A really large store with an excellent fresh pizza counter as well as other premade hot food. The prices here are really good as is the fresh fruit and veg. If I lived a little closer I would visit all the time!

Ordered Click and collect and waited for 40 mins for my delivery to arrive. Made two phone calls to the store while waiting but that didn't help. After 40mins staff finally came out with a wrong order, order for someone that gave up waiting before me, no apology, just rude. This person has zero skills for customer service. After 40 mins waiting I left with no grocery shopping.

This is a "little" ASDA store, with a good selection and friendly staff. Small clothing area and electronics area, but again, a good selection to choose from. The Cafe has friendly staff, hot food and pretty decent coffee

Free parking; plenty - excellent. Staff friendliness - very good; generally they are helpful. Prices - very good. Brand diversity - not so much lately, because they try to keep the prices down and with Brexit and inflation this is difficult now. I've read that ASDA isle of dogs is to be replaced with a mall. That would be very uncomfortable for my family.

Guys, ???????? not every day its 24hours, check the timetable on Google before heading towards it. Giant store for shopping. Facility includes petrol, diesel, A to Z household items, fresh food, produce, chilled etc.

Their organization is horrible. You never find anything you are looking for.. the layout is confusing and the restocking only occurs overnight. So if you go in the evening most shelves are empty already. On top of that, you have to deal with long queues, too often wrong price labeling, oblivious staff and awful management. There's something very wrong with this place.. Dont waste your time.

I once had to return some cheese that had clearly been opened and was covered in mold. No problem with offering me the refund but I had to explain more times than anyone should why it was not appropriate for the employee to hand it to his colleague to put back on the shelves. Sums up the experience at this store for me.

Understaffed and a complete mess! I shop around 9-11pm, and despite the checkouts queues being very long, they don't open manned tills, Self service conveyor belt checkouts are either broken or accept only cash. Full of pallets in front of the shelves, you can't get to the product you want.

The store seems to be a little run down more and more each time, food products aren’t always available. Recently bought some yoghurts and as I got home I realised they were over a week out of date and the product was curdled, and the 200ml bottle of baby milk I purchased was opened, I returned the next day to the customer service desk to get a refund, the Asian girl with the glasses on tried to refuse me from returning the product by simply stating that Asda do not refund chilled or baby products which I found strange as she let the Asian customer in front of me return a chilled product without a reciept. Seems like she’s picking and choosing who she will and will not help! Quality is not a skill you’ll find in the staff at this store. Not only is there bad customer service, but the shelves are empty!

I have placed an online order only because I have found the gin I wanted, with a good price. After spending my afternoon at home, waiting for my order, I called when it was already half an hour late. I was told it was on its way. When it arrived, almost one and a half hours late, the driver only delivered to me a few items. More than half of my order was missing. Inclusive the gins, that were the only reason why I came to you. No apologies were sent to me, and I was still charged for the whole shopping, and I had to call and ask for a refund. The delivery charge, I was told, would not be refunded. I have always used Sainsbury's and Tesco's, and I have never come across such a lack of quality, and disappointing service. Completely frustrating. Even when I have asked to file a complaint, the attendant told me there was no way I could do it over the phone. I have sent several emails and for over a month, no one has ever contacted me or refunded me for the missing items. They finally refunded me, but no formal apologies have they sent me.

Fresh produce section often out of stock of the basics, till queues are very long and the customer service queue is always massive. Separate media and stationery section after the tills is rarely manned and the shelves are always a mess. Very large though, so good variety of stock when they have some!

Great price but poor shopping experience. Queues are often long but instead of opening more tills, staff just stands around and chat. The shop is a mess during weekend and shelves are often empty especially vegetables such as broccoli, lettuce, spinach, courgettes. You are better off going to tesco at Surrey quay or Sainsburys at Greenwich if you are to do your food shopping during weekends and know that you would get everything that you want in one shop.

As you'd expect from ASDA, this place is huge. Very busy and huge queues when I visited on a Sunday, but brilliant selection - they literally have everything. Remarkable for central-ish London. Great value products and deals.

Ignorant and rude security at the entrance. Around 9pm (28th Sep) some kids run through the exit and the alarm goes off. Security is busy on his mobile, misses the kids, looks at up and starts shouting at me as I'm exiting the store. I immediately return and insist he inspect my receipt and the contents of the bag, but he refuses to check the bag saying "wait for the manager". They then keep we waiting for an extended period and after eventually discovering everything is paid for they bark "GO". No apology and no manners, it honestly seemed like it was something they do as entertainment. Does Asda invest anything in training it's staff?? Avoid them, it's not worth the trouble.
