I went there to buy a Chrome cast and the very pushy salesperson started trying to change my contract with my electricity and gas supplier! He kept telling me it was to save me money, etc etc. I said multiple times I wasn't interested and that I always prefer to read fine print and take my time with choosing contracts, and was told " of course, no problem, ill just print you the information, you're going to receive a text with a code to confirm" - but the text stipulated that it was, in fact, confirmation for a change of contract! I've never felt so annoyed or had someone try to force and trick me into something like this in a store - I mean, I just wanted to buy a Chromecast, something that should take 5 mins - and I wasn't at all interested in changing provider for electricity and gas. I didn't ask for it and had to say multiple times I wasn't interested. It was a waste of time and I left feeling very annoyed. They didn't have the Chrome cast in stock even, so I have to go back and pick it up now.
What happened to Darty? It used to be a great store.
Be careful with forceful sales tactics.

Large store with nice display of products. Good place to shop for mobiles, home appliances, televisions, vacuum cleaners, music systems etc. Some staff members speak English- some willingly and some not so willingly.,???? Enough space to maintain distance while shopping.

For me it was a terrible experience, I was buying a present for my birthday and managers started to propose me subscription to the site Hubsite, and yes, I do not speak in French fluently but I asked several(!) times what EXACTLY I should do and I received, as I understood after, unclear answers, which explained only the half of my duties, when I came out I read that after the first month I need to pay 15,99€ for this subscription....I really hope that manages will cancel my subscription.. I feels like I’ve been to the market not to the store.

Went there for the kitchen modeling, I was very well informed and they have a wide variety of furnitures.
And of course there’s the Darty after sell service which is fantastic.
Definitely recommend this place for buying a kitchen and appliances.

Avoid going after 15:00 at all costs, otherwise you will be facing lots of disgruntled personnel.
Overall, the team is incompetent and rude but the worst is the store manager with a very bad attitude, even borderline rude. He has to understand the difference between customers and his buddies that he can bully around.

Le gouvernement a décidé que lave linge, frigo et gros électroménager n étaient pas des produits essentiels. Heureusement on est tombé sur un conseiller comme Jude, et lui on peut dire qu il est essentiel. On repart ravis du service après vente, et rassurés quant à la qualité des produits achetés.
