I was having a bathroom nightmare in December and they made it possible for it to all be finished before Christmas which I was so grateful for. Not only are the productions and range offered beautiful their knowledge and customer service made a stressful moment very easy and relaxed. Will be recommending to everyone. ♥

Hintons provided all of the brass plumbing for our bathroom (almost finished but not quite below - ignore the wires!). I drove past the shop one day and noticed the fabulous display. The team walked me through everything I needed. The taps, shower heads etc are solid brass. Lovely finish. Great quality (weighty). A risk of cheaper brass taps is they are coated in a thin layer of brass (cheap metal ‘dipped’ I suppose) and the brass colour can all wear of. Products are manufactured in the U.K. or EU and are an excellent quality over cheaper imports from China. I’d strongly recommend the team. Oh and they price matched on a WC (having had 3 delivered broken by Victoria Plumbing...! Shopping local had proven a great decision

I bought a very expensive bespoke radiator from this company which was beautiful until I noticed it was leaking. I asked a British Gas inspector what was wrong and he said it was a manufacturing fault. When I went back to Hintons and explained the problem the person was extremely rude and aggressive and unhelpful.

I have bought three taps from Hintons and only on the third purchase did I discover how much I was being ripped off. Bought a tap for £190 and my plumber found the EXACT same make & model using serial no. for £42 online. 4.5 times mark-up!!! Not only was the mark-up outrageous, the tap itself was poor quality and didn't fit in a regular size hole.
Hintons take advantage of laypeople who don't have expertise and assume that's just what the products costs. I always thought taps costs £150 - £300 - so wrong! Good quality taps can cost £35. Look at where the plumbers shop - Screwfix, Toolstation, Leyland etc. and buy your taps there.

First time bathroom renovator here! I would definitely recommend. Really helpful and knowledgable staff. I was unsure of what I needed for the job and the team at Hintons were fantastic. I’m so chuffed with the quality of the products I’ve received - they’ve ticked all the boxes and the bathroom looks amazing. Will definitely be back in the future.

Dodgy, an incredibly rude owner and unhelpful. Hinton's provided faulty taps, then refused to accept they were faulty, leaving us to fork out the same money to a different store to complete our bathroom. I would strongly recommend people to stay well clear.

Initially really helpful
But when things go wrong the manager is dismissive and rude - blames everyone else and initially would not except products were faulty
Dismissive- apparently my very experienced plumber “wasn’t doing it right” had this reaction on 2 occasions with products from same order
Had to revisit shop 3 times to correct and had plumber visit 3 extra times - no Comment or apology for inconvenience -
After petrol costs, my time and plumbers time might as well have gone to reputable firm like Aston Matthews cost more but better value
Got money back but was really made to work for it

I had been to the British Bathroom Centre on Holloway Road - that was a total wast of time and I walked out; Hintons by comparison, a totally pleasurable shopping experience; good amount things to look at in the display area, very helpful and knowledgeable staff; my questions were answered and I had confidence in what I was told; delivery of the items was bang on time if not 10 minutes early later that same week; I had checked the measurements and decided on a larger cabinet and hand basin, I phoned them and all this was straightforward and dealt with, no fuss what so ever and again very pleasant staff - I could not recommend them highly enough, bypass the British Bathroom Centre and go straight to Hintons

Been using Hintons for may years, get all my plumbing and bathroom needs, i'm a bathroom fitter. I find them to be very competitive, knowledgable staff who know their products really well. The items i need are always in stock and i find the FREE parking at the back of the store really convenient. Large showroom allows me to bring my customers in to select all quality levels of bathrooms suites, sinks, taps, etc. From budget, mid range and top end. Would highly recommend
