A little disorganised as they were reshelving. Carts not logically placed so a but hard to manoeuvre. Shelves not well stocked indicating they don't really replenish as things run out but all at the same time in the evening. Nice selection of halal meat even though their fresh meat halal counter was closed

Dreary, unkempt, messy and disgusting. There were spilt packets of food everywhere and staff seemed to be non-existent. Huge queues and not enough tills open. Self-service tills were closed so it was compulsory to queue. A 5 minute visit actually took half an hour.

Large store with nice staff and some great finds.
I tend to find things here that I can't find at the Tesco Southwark Superstore, in particular this place has an excellent baby food section and a refreshing world foods aisle. There's also a massive clothing area and a subway cafe.

Don’t ever come to the pharmacy because they take all day to give a simple prescription. Low end supermarket in a very run down part of town. Product range seems heavy on processed and frozen convenience foods though there's a reasonable range of fresh fruit and veg too. Huge alcohol section - go figure! Many of the clientele wouldn't be out of place on The Jeremy Kyle Show. Overall a pretty unpleasant shopping experience.

It would be so wonderful if there were fewer than 26 people in any queue. But there aren’t. Ever. No sage either. Or pancetta. Or check-out machines that actually work. Oh also security will sometimes accuse you of stealing your own MacBook because, you know, Asda Old Kent Road sells MacBooks.

This Asda has been updated, it now has scan as you shop. Always great products and helpful staff. The wheelchairs are worse for wear and need to be replaced, the electric scooters are very handy too but mostly they are not charged overnight. Overall experience was okay.

The store says it is open until midnight. Came here at 10:30pm on Wednesday and the store was shut with no signs on any of the doors explaining why it is not operating during the standard opening hours.
