Nice store. They have good selection of sushi and spirits. I visited on a bank holiday which might be the reason why the vegetables and the fresh meat section didn't offer as much. But overall really good shop.

Have spent a small fortune here over the years: but the nicest visit was this afternoon when staff gave me these daffodils for free (they are past sell date). They would do that more often if they realised how it made me feel! x

I didn't know what to expect because from the entrance it seems small but the more you explore there is much to see and buy. It is much spacious and cover most of your shopping including health, beauty, body and hair products. They have plants and much more. It competes with their main stores and have more varieties. It was a great surprise!

Generally a good store. We're locals. My wife and I had a bad experience today however. Sales Assistant refused to sell her non-alcoholic beer at the checkout. I had to physically go and make the purchase. Huge inconvenience! I was also I.D checked by the same assistant for Non-alcoholic beer. Clearly on a Covid power trip. We'll be taking our business elsewhere.

Worried about Covid entry system. Long line of people who are allowed to enter on mass creating a bottle neck of bodies at the entrance. Meaning no social distance possible. I have experienced this every time there is an entry line.

Great for everyday shopping but not a massive supermarket, so doesn’t stock everything. Still has a great range though.
Staff are lovely in this branch. Gets very busy at lunchtimes but that was before Covid.

Clean and well-presented store the staff are helpful and it is not too busy it is underneath a newly constructed building the store itself is large with a good fruit and deli section opening hours should be longer to midnight the store closes very early on Saturday and Sunday

This is the best Waitrose shop in Islington. Such a pleasure shopping at this branch. Absolutely love the atmosphere and such a joy. I avoid the Liverpool Road one always go to this one. So much better.

Not asking people to wear masks yesterday , slovenly attitude when asked why the first 3 customers I saw when walking in the store were unmasked.
One of these people was handling products and replacing them with unnerving regularity.
Poor range of fresh produce , one would expect to find carrots !
This is my regular store and have found it a bit patchy , but some of the behaviour I saw was concerning , got me thinking , who is the manager there , am in several times a week and recognise many of the staff but ‘management ‘ faceless or absent .
Meat counter looking much better but priced for Royalty !

The Staff are excellent nothing is too much trouble. I just hope that I can get wc rolls and hand wash tomorrow. I have tried 5 times in the past week but always sold out. PAULA (I think she is Italian) is brilliant last week one evening she knew that I was not well, I had finished my shopping she got me water and made me sit down, I forgot to get lemons and she kindly said that she would get them for me I gave her the money. I live locally and I know of the staff from going in there.

Opens at 8:30 am. I trusted the opening hours on here but I had to go back everyday same with the same answer. At leat a smiley face would be nice!
(UPDATE) Opens at its usual time now and the stuff at the door is much more friendly.

Almost walked out today- staff wandering everywhere with no masks on, ditto several customers, and one instance of a staff member inches away from a customer, casually chatting neither wearing masks! Not what I expect from Waitrose.

I love everything about this Waitrose: the quality and variety of food and the friendly customer service. They have a great selection of prepared food also. This branch is a smaller location, but I've found that I can get nearly everything I need here. It's an all-round well-run, quality grocer.

I go to this Waitrose pretty regularly and think it’s a great one but wanted to specifically call out the last week when the manager went out of his way to help me find an ingredient for a recipe I was making - and this was during the evening rush! When they didn’t have the item in stock, he offered to help me find a replacement for free. Happy customer ????

Lovely example of Waitrose's chains. Best to be visited in the morning for better choice of snakes and fruits. This store seems to seek it all, always fresh, up to date ,well displayed and managed. Def. The favourite grousery store in the area.
