PLEASE WATER THE PLANTS YOU SELL! Today I came in to look at your bedding plants - half of the poor things were so parched they were on the brink of death. I use your store all the time and I notice this is often the case. Your plant selection has certainly improved this year and as there are very limited around here to buy plants I get a lot from you. PLEASE water them and keep them alive, it's not only wasteful to allow plants to die but also they are living things and need a bit of care.

I really like this Sainsburys, it has an Argos, a Habitat and a cafe. The carpark is in a convenient location and there is ample space between each psrked car. Being a larger store there's a good choice of products. It does annoy me though when they're out of fresh fruit as I feel like a flagship store like this should be better stocked. Also the card machines frequently can't read my card.

Best Sainsbury's in the area! Being very big the isles only run out of products/produce during the holidays, and always after 4pm. Never shop there on the weekends, and only on weekdays to afford long queues. The exciting factor is that this Sainsbury's also introduce new food products all the time. Including updating their own Sainsbury's domestic and cookware constantly by adding discounted prices. Which always makes you know they value their customers. Staff are always helpful here, and the café on the top floor is perfect for a quick catch up with your mates. Having an Argos plus Habitat within the store is a massive bonus too.

Pretty busy. There is a moving ramp to get up to the shop. I'm not sure why people stop and wait to be carried up. Just walk up the tiny incline for goodness sake. The shop has loads of stuff to buy though which is good.

Nothing unusual about this visit, pretty standard. Went on a Sunday as I needed birthday stuff. Got there not long after 11am and it was nice and empty not many people, by the time I left, about 12pm it was starting to get busy

Extremely rude security staff and his boss(Alfred). He treated me like I am a shoplifter. He even didn't explain me anything why he need to check my receipt AND my basket AND my transaction. And when I got back to him to get his name, His boss and him kept refusing to give his name, even though I clearly told them I need it to make an official complaint. The boss almost forced me to tell what happened in front of the rude staff with disrespectful gesture and tone. I read some of negative reviews here and It seems like it happens quite often in this branch to women or BAME. I genuinely hope these unprofessional staffs get educated soon.

Nice selection in the free from aisle, would like more GF takeaway options in the chilled aisle. Recommend Starbuck's hot chocolate with Original Nut Blend. Unsweetened, it consists of rice and cashew. Yum

This store has accused innocent people of stealing at least 6 times now. Also the trolleys you have to have a £1 coin for - who carry's cash nowadays? It stops me from doing a big shop and I now buy most of my items from Amazon Fresh as it avoids these problems. Probably the worst Sainsbury's in the country...

Very well stocked supermarket in Nine Elms with well organised parking and travelators to take you up to the supermarket. Close to the new Nine Elms tube stop that is to open later in 2021 as part of the northern line extension. Besides the supermarket there is a "home" section and section for clothes.

Why aren’t the staff enforcing the mandatory mask policy? So many people walking around without wearing masks, many of them clearly not exempt. Staff at entrance appear to just allow this to happen and don’t challenge anyone or ask if they are exempt or not. Store also no longer appears to be regulating the number of people coming in. Last few visits it was very crowded. Fine if everyone is wearing masks but at least 10-20% of people are not.

Amazing store with a very large underground car park a f lots of EV charging points. Shame most of them are out of order. Would be great if they could reinstate them all for use.

Usually pretty busy but there are always loads of staff keeping the shelves stocked. For a relatively small store it’s has the selection you’d expect in a big supermarket. The self-scan and pay app makes a huge difference to speed up your shopping experience.

Good, spacious, larger branch of Sainburys for London, with underground parking, Argos, Explore Learning, Habitat and a if up and running normally a cafe. Also has a Starbucks, photo booth, Coinstar and other money making bending machine on the ground floor - does have a weird set up to get in: up the escalator and onto the first floor. When the new tube station opens next door (called Nine Elms for some reason but should be Wandsworth Road, the road it's actually on ????), will be even more connected.

If you’re coming from the US, this particular Sainsbury’s is the closest thing you will find to a Walmart/Target in London. It is massive. You can buy clothes, home decor, kitchen appliances, groceries, cleaning supplies, etc. It has an Argos inside, which makes it an even more well-rounded experience in case you need some electronics or furnishings for your flat/home. There’s also a Starbucks at the entrance so you can fuel up on your way in and out. Huge parking garage attached and next to the upcoming Nine Elms underground station. I highly recommend you get the Nectar card so you can Smart Shop with a scanner (you grab the scanner as you walk in, you scan each piece as you put it in your final bags/trolley, and when you get to the till you just have to scan the computer and that’s it. You don’t have to re-bag your items) and it makes the checkout faster, especially if you’re doing a big haul. It’s the first thing you see to your left when you walk past the metal detectors as you enter. There’s usually someone there to help you if you have questions. PS - with Smart Shop scanners you may be randomly selected for a check of your items, a clerk will come by and scan 10 random items to ensure nothing is in there that shouldn’t be. It’s painless and not very frequent. Still faster than a regular checkout and bagging process.

A good airy and clean store with friendly staff and good product selections. The only drawbacks (and really annoying ones) are: (A) smaller trolleys are literally never available (B) SmartShop does not seem to work as I always get 'randomly' selected for recount which is both frustrating (end up doing a double check out) and in a way humiliating. Neither Sainsbury's HO nor store staff have been able to fix this for me so I have given up trying (C) only a few manned check-out positions are open at any one time (D) basket customers are allowed at trolley check-out, but people with trolleys are not allowed at basket/self check-out, and staff at trolley check-out don't seem to care

A good store but check out queues can be very long at weekends so pays to shop early as many people do not like to self scan especially elderly customers. Customer service desk did not accept cash when last there but other Sainsbury stores I’ve used do ! Long queues at CS desk as people use it to pay for clothes and home furnishings. Always seems to be a shortage of small trolleys. Shop there for convenience but Clapham store is much better and staff much more friendly and helpful. Agree with others regarding the not wearing of masks but enforcement usually results in arrogant customers looking for a row. Argos is great for picking up stuff bought online.

An excellent store with all you would expect at a Sainsburys with added benefit of ither shops including Argos and a study centre. My only gripe is the amount of car traffic it generates and that a large part of ground floor is used as a car park. The pedestrian experience along the frontage is poor. There should have been more effort put into greening the frontage and making it more active.

Extremely rude and aggressive self checkout staff member called Anu who has no training or manners. Rudely barked at me to move my basket off floor, very bullying tone of voice which was extremely unnecessary. As a long standing customer of many years I was disgusted at this behaviour and do not go shopping to be treated like this. On trying to lodge a formal complaint against this individual the Customer Service desk was unable to provide a complaints procedure and claimed they were unaware of the store manager's full name and could not provide an email address. This is shocking that such an establishment has no formal complaints procedure or knowledge of their own manager's name. This suggests evasiveness and incompetence. Sainsburys I expected better of you, severely disappointed.

While they do have a good selection, they have done an extremely poor job of enforcing mask wearing and social distancing in the store. The last time I was in there I saw several staff members and customers wearing their mask around their neck or underneath their nose, which suggests that those people are not bothered about protecting others, rather than exempt. The queue to the self check out was absolutely packed, it looked like people going into a concert hall pre-corona, people were standing mere millimetres from each other. They are doing nothing to regulate the overall number of people in the store, it was really hard to keep my distance from others when I was in there. I’m sure it’s a corona cesspit.

Since this Sainsbury’s was rebuilt it really is fantastic. Has a huge range of products and in particular the home and clothing section, with added mini-Habitat, is fantastic. Having an Argos here is also super handy for collecting items you might need.
