They are not seriously. I walked around Central London and when I go to this market to buy 2 croissants (70 p / each) they tell me to pay 1.6 £. All right, no problem, I give them 20 pounds and I waiting 20 minutes near the staff to give me back 18 £ and 40 p.
Finally they gives back my money because they don't have a cash.

Dog Kennel Hill Sainsbury's is the most well rounded supermarket in South East London. Always clean, huge amount of stock, easy car park, bus stop just outside the entrance, even a cute park next to it.

- some reduced price goods, not bad for evening workers. Keep it up please.
CON:
- waaaaaay smaller than the previous store;
- no cash payment machines;
- less fresh goods (fruit, veggies and so on);
- a traffic light pole at every corner of the store will be needed at some point.

The staff here are lovely and always helpful. My only complaint would be shortage of tills. I prefer self service myself but it's not always convenient with a trolley full of shopping. Management should be mindful of this and open more tills when queues build up.

Too small after the ‘renovation’, stock is bizarrely chosen with some obvious items and the ‘sainsburys own’ line absent and more expensive but utterly ridiculous items (7 different kinds of cheddar?) present. Some staff are wonderful but others are unhelpful and at times downright rude.

The "refurbishment" is literally half the size, no doubt to cut some form of tax. As such the selection of items is worse and it is too crowded during lunchtime. Very disappointed

It has a good selection of produce but as it's a medium sized store it does not have everything as the larger stores. It is good for lunch as it offers a salad bar, rotisserie, sandwiches etc. Generally queues are short, staff are helpful. If you go during the right time you can pick up reduced meat and fish for dinner.

Medium size, with Argos, cafe and clothes section. They could have made the food section bigger for the space available. Plenty of parking. Upper levels free for first hour. Basement parking you have to pay. Overall good, but "room" for improvement.

Biggest Sainsburys local I've come across. Lots of choice on offer. Great for grabbing a lunch to take back to the office or picking up shopping on the way home. Only complaint is that it's oddly dark I'm there. Other than that it's great, very handy.

Please be aware that Sainsbury’s store will closing on Friday evening 24th May for an 8 week downsizing programme.
The smaller Sainsbury’s store will reopen on 7th July and will be accessed via Stratton street.

Bought the wrong item and realised just after leaving shop, went straight back in after a min and staff were really helpful in getting me a replacement item. Managed to get another item at same price, but I don’t think that was a major issue. Positive help from staff is a big tick in my book!

It's fine for a city centre sainsburys, excellent for drinks for taking into green Park as it has lots of refrigerated wines and beers. Reasonable supermarket selection and lunchtime selection if you're working in the area, below-average salad bar.

The first picture is a lie. There is no deli counter and never has been in this Sainburys. Apart from that it's ok and convenient and sometimes very handy but it's still no Marks and Spencers
